i used to like that lord of the rings battle for middle earth. spent bout 2 hours creating a mint city with a great army, then watched it get destroyed. |

Has anyone bought Halo wars? I sometimes play warhammer on PC. I like RTS with a mouse and keyboard but found using a pad really hard, to many commands for to few buttons. That said a mate of mine says halo wars works really well on the pad so i'm now offically interested in this game! let me know if you've got it and would fancy a game. Dunno if halo has voice commands but i tried the end war demo and that had it. Not that it was of any use to me, a broad peterhead accent doen't interact well with most people nevermind an xbox. |

hahahahaha i understand ye, i think you can callibrate the voice cammands on it though so it shouldn't be too bad (or was it end war that had the voice, i'm confused now) been thinking of either this or end war, just as something different to play what was the demo like deadly, i downloaded but deleted with fecking playing it lol Edited by MeatyFiend, Apr 14 2009, 10:42 PM.

Hardly played the demo myself mate. I had just bought warhammer - soulstorm for my lappy so pretty much had one shot then deleted end war. I think a good RTS would make a good change away from FPS. wouldn't hurt to give it a try - maybe once it comes down in price a bit. |

mixed reviews on this. i'm kinda waiting til i get some 1st hand reviews back. i had a couple of shots of endwar when i was on the beta and it handled my accent pretty well.....eventually. don't think halo wars has voice commands tho. |

I played the demo and enjoyed it, and thought how awesome it might be doing 2v2's online (reminiscing the days of warcraft 3), but then realised that this was just going to be a massive zerg fest where you would win or lose battles in the first few minutes. |

i still play Halo3 , with map packs all the time ... i think halo is shit , but for some reason i like to play it ... as for halo wars and all that pointy click clack cack ----- didnt they make the PC especially for these scurry fest games ? |
