Well as some of u r aware i was in Leeds 2day at the Eurogamer Expo 2009. well firstly it won't be as big as the one in London on Friday and Saturday....... However there was still plenty of games to play and try out. Someof them were finished games but the most were demos........ Games that were present included Assassins Creed 2, Mass effect 2, FIFA 10, Forza 3, Halo 3:ODST, L4D 2, Heavy Rain, God Of War 3, AvP and many more. Obviouly the expo was not just bout Xbox but gotta say some of the PS3 games were actually very gd and also very pleasing to look at....... For example AVATAR the game, they had two demos going one on Xbox and one on PS3...........the PS3 version absol shat all ova the Xbox version for graphical details....it was alot sharper and crystal clear compared to the 'shiny' bollocks on the xbxo version. As for the controls OMG this is one Idiot Proof game walk upto an item and not only do u get a hand icon u also get a yellow circle with a Y in middle tellin gehich button to press.... seriously I thought we had got past that type of game  God Of War 3 all i can say is OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!! Best looking game there by quite a way....even if it is for the PS3 AvP has the potentiall to be big, not the best looking game and quite generic controls but still.....there is something bout it. L4D2 is much the same as b4 as most of u wouldalready know but with new special undead and new weapons, including a frying pan and biazzerly a guitar. New throwable weapons include a vial of Boomer Bile which will act much like the Pipe Bomb in that they will tear apart anything that comes into contact with it. Also new is the defribillator to bring back a member of the party who dies..... Assassins Creed 2 looks gd but again much the same as the first.......there was a massive queue to hve a go at this one, but not as long as it was for MAss Effect 2 which rather strangly was only on two monitors whereas every other game was on four or even eight. Graphically looks similar if different at all, but u can tell they've refined the storyline and the combat mechs....and yet I really can't wait to carry my character ova to the second game...... Anyhows all in all it was well worth the £6 spent plus travel... |
