A memorial to Freddie Mercury will be unveiled in Feltham town centre next month.

The Queen singer who lived in the area will be remembered with a Hollywood-style star outside the town centre library.

"I am delighted that at last we are honouring Freddie Mercury's memory and his achievements with a permanent memorial." Councillor and memorial organiser Paul Jabbal told the Richmond and Twickenham Times.

"As well as celebrating his life and success, it can serve as a reminder to local people that it doesn't matter where you come from, if you work hard you can succeed in whatever you do." He added.

The memorial will be unveiled on November 24.

Do they know that he died 18 years ago? I guess news is slow getting through.
Wonder how they'll respond when they find out about Princess Diana?

Some stupid bitch near me wants them to put up a statue of Michael Jackson here. Probably outside a school too.
