I guess that those that have browsed the gaming sites today will have come across the news that the next Mortal Kombat game will have their characters fighting against characters from the world of DC comics. So MK favourites like Sub-Zero and Scorpion will take on Batman and Superman and others from the DC franchise, sounds like it will be a blast, but hang on, Superman?? how the fuck will that be a fair fight? I've also read that fatalities will be dropped from the game, which may not be a good idea considering they were MK's strong point. Edited by Gee, Apr 18 2008, 10:51 PM.

what kind of fight is lex luthor going to put up? wasn't he an evil genius as opposed to any super powers that would aid him in a fight? |

It depends on which comic/cartoon/etc series they follow because in some Lex develops Kyptonite poisoning and designs a sort of Iron Man suit which keeps him alive and is powered by the kryptonite in his body. This also makes him quite equal to superman when one on one. I'm quite worried about my knowledge of comic books considering that i never read any and only watched the cartoons sparingly as a kid (and even then it was only really spiderman). |

somebody has took this out to the rig here so i've been giving it a pummeling so to speak. quite enjoying it really. only half way through the dc story so no finishing moves yet. you can get by by mashing the buttons (with your face?) but it really is satisfying pulling off a cool combo then throwing someone off a ledge and smashing them all the way down to the next level. i'd give it a 7 out of ten. |
