Use this thread for arranging a chevvy chasing game - ill start us off :)
Who wants to help chase those Zombie achievements on COD5 - esp the 150 headshot and 200 KIlls ones - suppose the best way is to allow on player to do most of the killing ,and everyonelse are play as support and coving the players back .
any thoughts ?

who fancies the chevvy chase of some evil undead zombie bastards tonight?
i tried it last night but my team was a bit unprepared for the task ahead. i.e sonia screaming when the devil dogs came on the go and babbles activating electric fences which zapped her team mates.
in fact not just a chev chase but a focus on getting top of the leaderboard on all maps.

im up for another go at zombie tickle licks tonite - we gotta try and get someone to get all 4 perks chevvy - and the 4 traps in 1 round chevvy thats prolly the easiest of a hard bunch , once you got the telephone call and the window repairs done :o

i tell ye those chevs are fucking hard. we ended up with a marathon session too and i all i did was use the fucking phone. 200 headshots will take some doing. i think the most i got was about 40. i nearly got to stab ten zombz with instakill but final kept flaming the bastards so i could only get 9. it ended up more of a sussing the game mode out excercise than anything else but it is still very good fun and very fucking hectic.

150 headshots and the repair 200 windows is a piece of piss - first level, repair the window while a zombie is trying to rip it down -takes about 5 mins to get the chevvy.

righty i'm assembling a crack squad of zombie death dealers for this evening again. i bloody love that game mode. i have a semi idea how to last out a few rounds.

for the 3 traps chev i'm guessing if we're all in different huts and activate the traps at the same time then we'll all get the chev. i don't think it's a personal chev, if so it's nigh on impossible to do.

There *IS* some strategy to this achievement. If you play it smart, it's much easier to accomplish. Open up the Doctor's Hut and the Fish Hut, leave the zip line platform down by the Doctor's Hut, and make sure all windows in both buildings are fully repaired. Save up at least 4250 points at the start of the round, and then go hang out in the Doctor's Hut. When the round starts, turn on the electric fence (1000 points) and watch the windows until the fence goes off. At that point, run out to the zip line and take it up to the main building (1500 points). Now run down stairs, past the flogger, and turn it on from the other side (750 points), then continue on to the fish hut, shooting any zombies in your path. Once you get there, turn on the last electric fence (1000 points) and bask in the glow of your achievement.

The biggest benefit of using this particular path is that you NEVER have to run through any swamp (which slows you to a crawl), and your path remains almost entirely clear of any zombies (when you take the zip line to the main building you leave most zombies behind you in the Doctor's swamp, and activating the flogger behind you prevents anything from sneaking up behind you before you make it to the fish hut).

There are really only 3 likely places where you could die. #1- inside the Doctor's Quarters while the fence is on (keep an eye on the windows and make sure you don't get swarmed before the fence turns off). #2- at the door to the Doctor's. This is the toughest part- once the fence goes off, you need to somehow make your way past the zombies at the entrance and to the zip line. #3- the path to the fish hut. This is usually very sparsely populated thanks to your trick with the zip line, so be alert. It'd be a shame to die after you've already come so close.

I have been playing Shi No Numa nonstop since it was released. Using this strategy me and my friends achieved wave 23 the third time any of us played it. Every other following game we have played has gotten us somewhere in the 20's.

Required:
1. 4 players (recommended to be friends).
2. Have to have Juggernaut and Slight of Hand as soon as these machines appear and Quick Revive if everyone can afford it (do not buy double tap, it runs through ammo quicker and will leave you in a bad situation).
3. Always have the person with the most points open doors/move obstacles etc.
4. When the box moves look to the sky for a green light, follow it to the box.

Weapons Recommended:
Ray Gun
MG-42
Browning M1919
Wunderwuffe DG-2
PP-Sh 41

If Someone Gets Downed:
Have the person with Quick Revive come and have one or both other people cover them while being revived. It would be best for that person to watch a window for the rest of the match instead of watching the door.


Waves 1-3:
Beginning on these waves do not kill the zombies when they are outside the windows and do not buy a gun. Position a person at each window. Put 6 shots into each zombie before coming inside. After they come in knife them (or shoot if you wish) until they die. On these waves they tend to drop the Nuke and Double Points a lot which really helps.

Waves 3 and up:
After wave 3 open the stairs (I will explain later why the door needs to be closed) and go to the box. Make sure at least 2 people get an SMG. Now when the dogs come there is a small curve and a window by the box, have everyone sit with their backs against the wall in that corner and kill the dogs (try and have 2 people shooting and when they stop to reload have the other 2 shoot).After the last dog is killed it will always drop a max ammo, do not take the max ammo until everyone has reloaded their weapons (try and apply this to all max ammo's if possible). After this wave the box will most probably move to another room. Have everyone run to the room and keep 2 people guarding the door and 1 at each window (if the room has 3 windows which 2/4 do, then just have 1 person that can handle 2 windows). At the end of the round try and have 1 person at a window keep a zombie outside and keep repairing it to give everyone enough time to get weapons, ammo, etc. Now depending on the weapon each person gets tells where they will be. Whoever gets the MG's will need to guard the door and the others at the windows. Now if the box happens to move to 1 of the 2 rooms with 3 windows at a higher wave it will probably be easier to go to the box at the end of the wave with a zombie being held at a window. If the box relocates to the main building this is the strategy to hold up there (this is why you opened the stairs and not the door after wave 3). There is a set of stairs by the Flogger Trap that you can go up and the box could be up there. Being you didn't open the big door there are only 2 windows and the stairs that need to be watched over. Have someone active the zipline so the you can have it as a quick getaway just in case you get overrun. Now, keep 1 person at each window and 2 in front of the stairs. This is a good place to camp out although the 2 small buildings (Doctor's Quarters and the Comm Room) are the best being they only have 2 windows. Try and have the person with the most points to keep trying to get the box moved from the main building if they can afford it. The goal is pretty much to stay as close to the box as you possible can while also being safe. Doing this will guarantee you to get to a high level wave once everyone understands the concept of the strategy.

holed up in a hut with decent guns we managed a load of waves of zombies last night. ( i got the 200 kills chev and had 90+ headshots) we made a move for more perks and got swamped big time. with hindsight we were pretty well off where we were and had it pretty much sussed out.

like a well oiled machine we kicked zombie ass last night. had our tactics well sussed out. i can't belive how close we were to the 3 traps chevvy. that's well do-able. i had 3 perks active when i died too. those headshots have eluded me so far but i'm getting more and more every game. i love this game.

yeah its a shame they didn't include some chevvies in the first dlc, but i'm enjoying them now - i got 2 last night for the sole kill by a nuke and then 'soul survivor', which i'm not sure how I earned that but i'll take 50gp anyhoo.

Am up for this tonight again. I reckon we can get the three traps job done and I feel up for getting the 150 hs achievement - got 95 last night. Also, this is the first time in ages i've got a blister on my thumb by playing something! eee!

Sole survivor is for surviving up to round 15 without needing to be revived.

It was a good session last night and i got a bit panicky several times when i was completely out of ammo and didn't have enough points. Strangely it always seemed to happen just as we got dogs.

Last night was the first time i'd gotten the ray gun on the new map and i got it twice, at one point i had the ray gun and the wonder waffle.
