No one can deny that Arctic Monkey's debut album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not" was the fastest selling album for the boys from Sheffield and also had great success with their second album, "Favourite Worst Nightmare" due to it almost piggy backing on the first album. So after two years have they pulled another great album for the third time?

Like their previous, "Brianstorm" was an excellent opening track and "My Propeller" is just as good even through I'm more of a fan of "Brianstorm"
Right now onto the rest of the album, I was going to review each track individually but I can't really be arsed with all that.
I will say that this album is a lot darker and heavier than the last two albums and is quite clear that the band has matured since "Favourite Worst Nightmare".
With the new album having a slightly different approach from the last two then some fans may not warm to it straight away but if you liked the bands past stuff then I'm sure it won't take long to get that warm feeling back.

8/10

"Humbug" is released August 24th

I can write a decent length review sometimes and would more often if I got paid to do so.
Also sometimes I have to keep things simple for some people.
