A new Xbox LIVE destination for all Halo fans. Microsoft has announced that this autumn it will launch Halo Waypoint, a new destination for Halo fans on Xbox LIVE. The digital destination will inform fans of the latest Halo news and activities, and grant access to content ranging from podcasts, trailers and screenshots, to exclusive video footage you won’t find anywhere else. It will also provide a new challenge for Halo gamers with a career system and player rankings tied to both in-game and out-of-game accomplishments related to Halo. Halo Waypoint will host a preview of the recently announced Halo Legends anime series this autumn. Additionally, Waypoint will debut several behind-the-scenes videos that chronicle the making of Halo Legends. |

stats-tastic!!! i don't mind a bit of halo hype, i also don't mind a bit of statasizing (heh, i inventented another new word) of my l33t skills either as long as people don't take these things too seriously. i'm looking forward to halo reach and i'm also really enjoying firefight on odst. i recommend picking odst up just for that mode. if this is free then there's not really a lot to moan about. if you don't like or play the halo games your not going to have a whole lot of need to sign up for it. |

me and gee were on the halo3/odst disc 2 multi-player action sack playlist and some of the game variants they've made up are shit hot. i liked the vip territories thing with the sniper base in the sky, fucking mental. new griffball and dodgeball arena's too. |

Go back to sleep Gee. i was referring to the fact that this Waypoint is just a bit of pointless hype to get the Halo games some attention. It doesn't actually bring anything new to the franchise. Or am i missing something?

it brings new and exclusive content on a daily basis according to the video. halo 3 is still ranked as one of the most played games on xbl and this waypoint thing ties in the whole franchise with one focal point. i don't really think they need to give it more attention as it's just always there. odst has brought back a few people who left for other things but reach will be fucking interstellar by the time it's released. |

Halo waypoint has now been launched in the preview program. It's a separate program, like the Facebook client, and like it is accessible through the new My Community section. You go into career mode to have it scan your Halo (Halo 3, Halo Wars and ODST) achievements and give you a waypoint Career rank, my career milestone is 27 with 1645 gamer score and need another 55 points to take it to 1700 and a milestone of 28. There are also Waypoint Awards, which indicate "excellence in a specific game speciality." So if you get five vehicle-based Achievements in any Halo game, you get the Tier 1 Vehicle Specialist award. Apparently you can get first tiers from single Halo games; to get to the top you've got to play all of them. Including Halo Wars. You also get some free avatar gear awarded, the first is a Gulity spark prop just for signing in and you get some more when you go into career mode and it scans your achievements. I got the ODST armour, the helmet , a hoodie, and a T-shirt. You get the recon helmet when you complete the endure achievement. There's also an Intel section, which holds some existing videos, interviews, and the ODST Premium Theme. The main page has a showcase highlighting the best Halo screenshots from the community, not unlike the tools at bungie.net. Also Halo waypoint also appears in your list of achievements but doesn't show any achievements, not sure what that is about but 1 vs 100 had the same thing. |

A porn anime is called Hentai. some anime's are responcible for the creations of some of the best movie in hollywood, as well as some of the best plots and thought provoking meanings in the history of film. the reason why most animes have a little pervy side to them is because the japanese are as dirty as they are wise. if your really interested in animes let me know i can recommend some really good ones, I.e AKIRA...you'll need to watch it more than 5 times to REALLY grasp what that film is about.
