forza is a much more long term investment. op flashpoint let me down a bit. i didn't think i'd need another shooter until mw2 came along or i probably wouldn't have bothered with borderlands either. |

i have to be honest with forza , and so far there isnt much that makes me LOVE it , the career mode is very lacking in anything but race race race ... even then ,the races are slow and loborious (as i said forza can be) so far nothing has happened that excites me or even made me give a "knowing nod" DIRT 2 is miles better looking , better racing , beter fun and even with its LONG load times ...... quicker to play ! For me FORZA is about playing with mates in a race , or time trial challenges , and to be fair ive not done either yet , just single play / career mode . If i had NO friends in the world id give this a 3/10 oh a positive , the storefront is very good wot u guys think ???? |

I haven't played it yet even though I got the game on release day! I have a Logitech wheel but my adjustable table is stuck in the post backlog and so I don't want to play it single player without the wheel. That said I thought the demo was fantastic and I hope the wheel will give me more immersion rather than with the controller as I got bored in Forza 2 racing with the controller. That said if we can all get together for the multiplayer it may liven up your interest in it Daz? |

i'm really getting into this. fucking nightmare in the auction house tho. i've only won one car. did 3 races and got given the very same fucker for nothing. some good things written about the logitech wheel on the forza forums jack but i think the most popular is the fanatec or something. i'm just trying to wrap my head round manual gear changes at the mo. might be easier on a wheel for the total immersion factor. |

Loving the game, been playing with both the controller and the official steering wheel, manual with the wheel auto without and all assists off. Im only around driver level 15, because i find myself checking out the auction house/storefront areas alot and trying to design some vinyl groups myself (although i suck at it), did a few time trials and hot laps also. Done some online races with a Muercialago they i souped upto an A600 very fast in the straights but i get owned in the corners need to keep speed better in them. Really want to do some private races, maybe some cat and mouse etc aswell. oh and an endurance race! |

Jack , i'd whittle offf the early , slow races while you wait for your Table and get to grips with the quicker cars (C Class onwards) - - the game is a lot more fun with the quicker cars , and the storefront is a lot less irritating than last time , you can now seach youing keywords .. |

I think my table might be here today anyway Daz. Well I hope so! I cannot wait to get stuck in although if we play multiplayer I will use the controller otherwise I will get lapped! As for wheels, I came close to buying the official MS one but I couldn't find one for under £70 and the fanantec one seems even more expensive. The logitech wheel was £30 delivered so I couldn't refuse at that price. I need to callabrate the wheel and adjust the dead zone in the advance settings though. Maccas - have you adjusted anything for the official MS wheel? |

Bought Coco's SPS logo, lol Found that you can access your friends auctions a lot easier than trying to search for them and best of all you can access their friends and favourites and then access their friends and so on and so on. Also it will be worth checking out the forza web site when the auction house is added (and some other stuff), not only will you be able to bid on cars but have a better view of them. hahaha, i was just fucking about trying to make decals. i want to make a clan car, that badge is shit gee!! lol. imagine my surprise when i switch on froza and i get a chevvie pop up and an in game mail telling me i have credits to collect in store front. almost makes me want to actually try harder. |

I havent adjusted anything for the wheel yet, but now you mention it i definately need to look into doing so this evening. Having alot of problems with turning into corners and as i have the steering wheel sat on my lap at the moment going full lock is awkward. Need to find a little table to lock the wheel to would make life a hell of alot easier. Been racing quite alot online but im always about 2 seconds off the pace of the leaders, i tend to come in about 3rd-5th most races. Im fine in the straights with my beefed up muercialago just need to get the cornering and cornering at speed locked in. |

i've took my forza offshore with me so i'm going to plough through the single player seasons and get as many cars in my garage as i can. should rack up a fair few credits if i haven't got leaderboards, storefront or auction house to worry about. |

I got the 100k chevvie on my 3rd lap of fujimi kaido using a toyota ae86 found a free drift tuning on the storefront. Was pretty easy considering you can use the rewing function if you screw up a drift also. Nurb isnt that great for getting the achievement too many long straights or high speed corners. |

Except for me, did anyone else remember that the free cars were released today Anyway the second pack has been announced and will be the “Hot Holidays Car Pack,” which will drop on December 8th for 400 MSP and will feature "some of the world’s most anticipated supercars and purpose-built race cars of 2010." These supercars include the recently unveiled Ferrari 458 Italia and to give players a sample of the delights of the Hot Holidays Car Pack, they can download the new 2010 Audi S4 for free. I got left 4 dead 2 which is more of the same so if you liked the first one, you like this. Do fancy getting Dragon age though. Reviews were very good for it. If i get stuck on it i can always go to Daz for help. He's the RPG expert in the clan.
