Hey all, nobody's mentioned it but if you've been having problems like me, with OS 3.0 dropping/poor wifi connection then all you need to do is reset the network settings. To do this go to Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings Obvioulsy you'll need your encryption keys for the networks you wanna setup again but it's hardly a hardship. Worked for me anyway.
