Does anyone else here us last.fm? I joined ages ago but never really bothered to get into until it was announced the it would be integrated into Xbox 360 and so thought I would look into it more. And I've got to say it's not bad for finding new music based on what music you listen to. I also like that it tells you what live events are on, including those of artists that you listen to. I'm interested into how last.fm will be integrated into the 360 in Autumn. http://www.last.fm/user/Gee2909 |

i have an account but never really got into it. i couldn't see how to play the songs or anything so the interface wasn't very user friendly. i've been meaning to try it again now tho seeing as it's coming to xbox. i'd rather have spotify on there tho |

Spotify would be good but Spotify and last.fm are 2 completely different things. last.fm is more about discovering new music rather than listening to the songs you want to and spotify comes in handy for listening to new music found on last.fm |

You won't be saving music to your HD or paying out MS points. Last.fm will be more of a social network thing and for seeing what you and your friends listen to. |

You can already listen to music on your xbox and I never said you can't listen to music on last.fm.You listen to music by: 1)Listen to songs that you have added to a playlist (or someone else's) but you have to pay for this and seems kind of pointless 2) The other way is go to your library (which is artists of those that you have listened to and those that you have browsed on the site and added) and click on play library.It will then play full songs from those artists and you can skip to the next song or click the love icon or the hate icon and that track will not be played again. 3)You can also play your recommend radio and it will play songs from artists that last.fm has recommended and again you can skip.love or hate. Also because last.fm tracks what you listen to, I'm wondering if it will do the same if you listen to music via your xbox |

i'm listening to mogwai radio and fucking loving it already. got a band hit straight away with "this will destroy you - 3 legged work horse" i can see myself making more use of this actually. it will be interesting to see how they integrate it into the old xbox. sent you a friend request gee btw. |

i've noticed when you go into the page for an actual song a few have the youtube video embedded into it. that could be fucking handy on the xbox. i haven't made a playlist/radio thing yet but i see you beavering away gee, can you watch you tube playlists as well? |

Because the Youtube videos are from users uploading them to the site and Youtube being funny about music videos,it's a bit of hit and miss if they play sometimes. The other way to listen to music is by looking at what your friends have recently listened to and click the player. Some are full songs and some are only a 30 second track |

Looking at the following picture, it looks like you will be able to listen to music through your xbox, but will be the same way that you do it on the web site. You'll notice the play,skip.love,hate and add to library at the bottom You'll be able to do the same on the 360 that you can do on the web site. It also looks like you can start a party. it's very surfing intensive, i find that i have fucking shed loads of pages open at any one time to keep listening to stuff and look for artists. i've downloaded the actual desktop app so i can add stuff to my library and playlists based on what i'm listening to in my media player and itunes. that seems a much easier way of using last.fm. then i can surf my profile and look for recommendations easier. if you can do party listening to playlists we could have a playlist for our late night admin poker sessions. |

hahaha, i clicked on the your neighbourhood link on the standalone player and fucking duffy popped up and started playing. thankfully i hated it and stopped it playing before it appeared in my profile. |

i'm kinda getting into this actually. in the standalone i can listen to what my friends are listening to. tho that might have been your playlist gee i couldn't tell. daft punk and kanye west were on. also i think when i added my media player library it looks at play history as jason fucking mraz is now my top artist. the missus has been listening to one song all the fucking time and it's doing my head in. |

i tried to play a song by tv on the radio , - it played something off youtube , then it went onto play random shit , they have a load of Lets wrestle tracks but only one is listenabubble |

just seen my profile , thanks Gee , last i looked it had 1 song on there ,,,,, not sure how accurate that is , coz those songs listed as my most played probably aint so !!! the top five on my most played are shit ! ok i love the haha wall and of moons birds and monters , but i dont think its right |

Got to say I'm loving this site and the amount of stuff it has about the bands,albums,upcoming and past live shows. but also about the venues and not only who is playing at them but also who has played there in the past.
