I might be boring, but inside there's interesting person waiting to get out.

Right, let's get one thing straight. F1 drivers lie. They lie all the time and nobody ever questions it. They lie to you, they lie to the press and they lie to people on the inside too. How many times have you heard a driver giving post-match on a poor performance and come up with 15 different ways of not saying "we were crap" or "it was my fault"? And what a load of fuss over nothing. McLaren try and steal back a place that was rightly theirs by a bit of truth economy in the steward's room and it all kicks off like it was really important. Excuse me, when did F1 drivers ever tell the truth? Little has been mentioned of Vettel driving around the track with something that Del Boy would use, when the rules clearly state that he should've immediately retired. As for Trulli, we seemed to have forgotten that for most of the race he was weaving left and right in the braking zones with Lewis behind him and rightly deserved a place drop. I'm getting sick and tired with the Ferrari led McLaren witch-hunt that's been going on since Lewis' memorable debut season. Ok, I'll be fair, McLaren have developed a knack for shooting themselves in the foot lately but does telling a little white lie to secure a place that they would've got if they kept thier mouths shut really warrant expulsion from the sport? Bernie seems to think so. And so now, one of the most succesful Britons in sport, Ron Dennis, feels it's now time to retire after 28 years in F1. No lament in the media, no 'look back at the best bits'. In a sport where a British event is still in the balance, the torch now goes to the genius that is Ross Braun. Tread carefully, Ross. For it's Jenson's dreams you walk on. Peace out y'all :-) |

i agree , they told a lie , it wasn't murder , tho they didnt need to tell a lie as they would have probably got the position back after the race ..... footballers try to decieve the ref's all the time , Crickets no different ... a gents' sport apparently . I suppose the lie Mclaren told made fools of the Race stewards as they demoted Trulli for overtaking under Safety car conditions , when infact Trulli was allowed to pass by Hamilton as he wasnt sure wether he had to let Trulli back or not after Trulli fell off the track a minuite earlier |
