The first details of Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits has now been released.
The game will feature 48 tracks from past Guitar Hero titles.
As always the game will be released as a stand-alone software or as a bundle.
So if you have bought all the Guitar Hero titles to date then keep your money in your wallet.
As for the songs that made the cut will include:

Them Bones by Alice in Chains
Killer Queen by Queen
Nothin' but a Good Time by Poison
Killing in the Name by Rage Against The Machine
I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister
I Love Rock N Roll by Joan Jett
Barracuda by Heart

The game will have a release date around June.

talk about flogging a dead horse. why not work on dlc for the stuff they have already instead of rehashing old shit.

Self Pleasuring Simian
bored to death with the cliched "rock anthems" that populate RB and GH .... we dont all want to listen to 70s 80s stadium rock music or struggle to play mental metal with fingers that were designed purely to grasp yer todger for self pleasuring!

stop it now and make a proper guitar game where we plug in an actual guitar , then it might just work

i aint gunna get it as i have every game anyway you bunch of fat cunts, and the reason some people like me want some harder songs on there daz is because i want more of a challenge than most of the soft shit thats on all them games.

at the end of the day you don't like the stuff that i want on them games and i don't like the shit that you'd want, so an agreement on that subject aint gunna happen.

but it still doesn't beat playin a proper guitar

well well, most of the setlist has been announced now and i have to say it does look kinda good now. as with metallica it won't be anything new but being able to play the best songs from the other games in a multiplayer band set up does sound a bit more appealing. i'm developing a bit of a soft spot for these music games.

well now you can try a demo of the game. don't have a track list or if it's multi player, which i suspect it is. tho i have it racked so i'll report back presently

edit: oh yeah have a link = link

edit2: songs are, kiss - rock n roll all night, franz ferdinand - take me out, wolfmother - woman.
the demo is a quickplay and available for the full band experience online multiplayer.
