just starting this thread in anticipation of a problem. neilios keep an eye on here, lol. i'm just downloading the vista drivers for my hardware but i'm still a bit anxious about upgrading. i think sp1 sorted out most of the bugs and nightmares associated with vista but i don't know anybody who's upgraded who hasn't had some major problems.

i'm just getting vista drivers for my graphics card, chipset, network and printer anything else i can sort out once i get up and running again.

i did think of dual booting but i haven't got a partition to install onto so by the time i do a format and partition i'm as well just biting the bullet and going with the vista.

i'm not just overly taken with vista on my desktop. it can only just handle it really, so i'm stripping it down and flogging it. my current board can only handle 2gb of ram and to make vista fly i need 4gb so i've ordered new motherboard, cpu and ram. got a shit load of stuff hitting ebay over the next few weeks now. lol.
