i'm an avid SF fan from the days of playing on my SNES, how i miss that machine  there is a big vid here http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox-360-hires/8283/Street-Fighter-IV-Gouken-Trailer-in-HD/ (screenwise) im still not 100% on the graphic style, and the fact it seems to pause a lot on moves but i think that may change when i play it. |

i like the cell shaded look of it but i was never a big street fighter fan. i'll hold off and see how it fares when it gets released. if you like fighters soul calibur 4 is pretty bloody good. |

what was he one i will have played on the Dreamcast ---- something along the lines of Street fighter Alpha turbo 2 - or something , not a massive fan of the game , BUT i kinda fell in love with the cheesey Jap techno pop that played in the background LOL |

i would get this game but for the fact that the 360 dpad is hopeless compared to the ps job. There's no changing that, unless there's some way of using a playstation pad on an xbox. but then that's a whole pad for just one game. bleh. |

got this , my review ... this is easily THE worst Beat em up ive ever played , facto mucho !!! i cannot think of a single positive feature about this waste of money , oh hang on , the disc is NOT made of a substance that will explode and kill me PHEfuckingW !! no really , recently ive played , DOA - , Soul calibur and Virtua figter and all are smooth and good to play , id say VF has the best defensive controls and therefore the best beat em up , SF4 has no gamemode of any interest , i bought this for time attack n Survival (fair enough u have to goto Tekken for the full gammot in game modes) but what sort of bastardised version is this ??? --- leaderboards only track 1 game difficulty >>???? why not all of us have japafuckingneese cum stained fingers , some of us like to play for fun . i hate this game and i hate it baaaaad :( |

thanx for that review daz , i know everyone has there own opinion on things , but i was gonna buy this ..glad i aint now my mrs loves street fighter and recently i bought her the arcade version off the xbox for 1200 points ...and she loves it i dont think i will invest in the new one though now ..

Mick , like u say its opinions , this game gets 10/10 everywhere and on the wesite i went on to try n get some help they are all getting jizzy with it , saying its better than expected .... Im not a beat em up addict , just wanted something with pick up n play appeal , Last SF i played was SFA2turbo and i loved it (10 yrs ago) - but i love countering/defensive moves in a beat em up , and i find the unfamiliar animations on this game impossible for me to predict a block , that and theres nothing smooth about the animation IMO. hope my thoughts alone dont put ppl off a game |

if it had leaderboards for easier difficulties , proper survival modes then id keep it .... its supposed to be an arcade beat em up , but if ur not hardcore you are no core .... just played 20 odd games with a mate over XBL -- we finished with an equal win loss ratio , and when its close fighting its good , but you still dont think its anything better than a cheap arcade game |

I've heard that the game is spoiled by the 360 dpad and that you can get a much better response from the Madcatz(?) controller for the 360. Not looked into pricing one but am tempted to give this a blast just to see how bad (or good) this really is... Best fighting game I've played (and about to again) is Streets of Rage 2 (available on the SEGA megadrive collection thats just been released)
