looks like windows has given their steam like windows live program a reboot. the program is now free and has been added to a few newer titles. p.c gamers can now get the fallout3 dlc from the games for windows live platform. in their wisdom microsoft have been dishing out refunds to peeps who paid for the white elephant service. so when will xbox live be going free? if sony have sorted out their live service, as i hear they have, should we actually expect more from our subscrition funded xbox live than what has been deilivered by the nxe update? |

save your breath people, microshite don't need the money they're just another money grabbing power hungry corporation like the rest. free stuff would be nice, or at least lower the prices, if not that then why can't they lower the price of how much m$ points cost in the first place............ |

ok its a flimsy reply im giving but let me say in MS defence thiss... if we are PAying for the service ,they are accountable when things go poo (like just before xmas) --- shame tho that when stuff does go poo there not much we can do with it ......... oh one more plus to XBL not being FREE , and this is a real important note ..... think of the multi accounts floating around , the wind ups , the annoying shits etc ---- even most of them begrudge £5 a month for that .. so i am IN FAVOUR of a subscription , but it would be nice to make proper use of our Avatars , get stuff to use with it when we complete certain tasks in games and have a comunity that dosent have to only consist of friends ... say you can go into a avatar lobby of for example , Slipnot fans , Man City fans , Coronation St fans , Forza fans .... see i cam up with those ideas on the fly , use them for free Microsoft xxx |

i don't mind paying for it either. i just renewed my sub for another 12 months today. i just feel they could do a bit more when i hear what the sony home is like. there is zero interactivity in the avatars. so what exactly is the point? i stopped dressing dolls when i cancelled my subs to bunty. |

yea but i don't pay so i can fuck about with avatars wether you can make em dance, give em a house or do an entire blue movie with them, fuck the buildings as well.......... i'd rather go have a wank then fuck about with that shit. i have a console to play fucking games, if i wished to play the sims then i'd go buy the fucking sims, but i don't so really i don't care bout that shit.... the only dlc that is any fucking use what so ever is the stuff that can be used in a game!!! |

I dont mind paying, but dlc should be cheaper and more of it for all games, i've got a few old xbox games which I think by now achievements should have been added. I have downloaded black-Fable and a few boxed ones, it would be cool to get points, if they do it for arcade why not original games?? |

Maybe get some chevvy's that when gained actually get you something. Im not saying make it easy but you could get Voucher Codes for purchases or a few MS points here n there or a free arcade/content DL of your choice. I dont give a fook about gettin 1000 chevvys but maybe if there was something i could use n it was worth while i may start sluggin them out. |

Would be a good idea if MS put a stop to achievement cheats (the ones that have a massive score but not actually played the game) but they haven't done so since the 360 launched. Also I did post up that MS will be adding achievements to their original Xbox games in the new year. http://s1.zetaboards.com/sps/topic/1003658/1/#new |

There is a number of ways to get achievements without the game, one way is to take the HDD apart and connect it to your PC and then download the achievements (there is a site that has all the achievements to download, but can't remember what is called) and then transfer them to your HDD. I know that there is less cheats on LIVE due to Microsoft catching them and banning them cause of their own stupidity and increasing their gamerscore from 0 to 200000 in a week. |

i chevvy chase , its fun and frustrating at the same time , but it gets to to replay a game or play a mode/level over n over , and wotnot .... probably how the devs' intended it , but i really dont like online chevvys ....as chevvy casers will skank a normal game to get their way |

i tried live briefly on Fallout 3 on the PC to see if it worked, i was gutted that i had to start the game again as it had wiped all my saves (they are still there but cannot be used on Live) - unless i can move where they are stored. also is there a gamercard for windows live? |

hmmmm, having never had a pc account i honestly couldn't say but i know the gamercard is a microsoft live account so it can be used across most of their systems. i don't know if being on a pc, which being a different format would change stuff maybe if we drink loads of alcohol we'll find the answer.... |

as far as microsoft billing is concerned you can tinker away with Xbox live and microsoft accounts with the one login (your passport) tho you can have multiple acounts - not sure how or why but ive 2 accounts on one passport/hotmail addy. anyway the last game i played on the PC was HL2 and UT2004 so im not much bothered |
