In a state between consciousness and unconsciousness, Lornayth listened to the myriad of voices. Some of them echoed, reiterating hundreds of times in the span of a few seconds. Others he heard only once. These were drowned out by a high-pitched ringing, however.. He reached out a hand and gripped.. nothing. He found himself in a black abyss. What the hell..? Where'd the ocean go? A white mask materialized in the darkness. The mask's narrow eyes studied him, and then the neutral expression on its lips changed to a sly smile. Lornayth felt himself fall through what might've been an infinite darkness if not for his reawakening inside the carp's mouth. Elita hovered over him in the water. He could hear rushing water, but not her voice. His eyes closed again. |

Fleuria looked over the group inside the great carp. Everyone had come in except Xar. She stood near the fish's lips, calling up to him. "Go fetch Xar, Poco. He's too injured to move on his own." As she finished he words, the carp lurch forward, swimming its way toward Xar. Poco Sal opened his large jaws and swallowed Xar up, bringing a large amount of saltwater to pour down Poco's throat. His lips closed once more, and Fleuria thankfully patted her hand against the roof of his mouth. "Thank you, continue to Seren." With that the fish turned tail and headed once more towards their destination. Fleuria stepped over to Xar and Lornayth. She knelt down between them and gripped her staff. She quietly whispered Agapi's name and the dove appeared from its portal once more. It made quick work of flitting its wings over the mages of opposing elements and set a faint, yellow glow over them. Fleuria watched as the bite marks in Xar's stomach faded away and Lor's fingers began to return to their full length. She looked over towards Agapi, who was fluttering his way back into the portal and disappearing. Fleuria stood once more, moving over toward the front of Poco's mouth again. She plopped to a sitting position and sighed. "Hopefully we don't run into much more trouble. I can only summon a few times more," she said, yawning slightly. *72/130 MP* Edited by Fleuria, Aug 18 2009, 03:47 PM.

xar felt better as the dove had circled him. he had no idea where he was or how he got there but he didn't care anymore. he was jsut glad he was still alive. he took his pants back from Lor and walked a bit away from the rest to put his pants back on. once he had put it on he sat down and fell asleep. |

Lor opened one eye slowly. As he raised his hands toward his face, he bent the fingers inward and back to test them out. "Good as new," he said to himself. The image of the mask from his hallucination - he refused to call it anything else - lingered in his mind, but for the time being, he was more concerned with their swift passage to Yesmuth. Any more unexpected delays could mean an early end for their voyage. He rubbed his sore eyes to try to remove the salt, but as it covered the greater portion of his fingers, too, he just ended up replacing it. He rested his head against the smooth wall of Poco's inner mouth and sighed. "I keep thinking maybe we should've just walked to Yesmuth.." |

Sapaqura began to walk holding left arm with his right until he fell down: Opening up one of my wounds was the only way I could get that shark to follow me and all my extra bandages are with Tempest, I guess my bandana will have to do. Pulling it off and soaking up blood as best as he could he then wrapped it around his arm putting pressure on it as much as he could to stop the bleeding. Sapaqura looked over seeing yet another new person, but the other guy wasn’t here though. Still not knowing any names expect for Fleuria, lying there he didn’t really care at the moment either. |

Lornayth shook his head after seeing Sapaqura collapse. "He really has a habit of getting himself beat up, huh?" he asked Neve quietly. The kitten meowed and trotted over to the knight, licking his arm. Lor placed his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. He could barely hear the rushing water outside the carp as they made their way to Seren.. For some reason, though, he occasionally heard a sucking noise coming from the fish's throat. Each time, he opened his eyes and glared down into Poco's depths. After three iterations of this, he tapped Elita on the shoulder. "Do you hear that too?" he asked with his eyes still on the throat. |

Elita nodded. "Yeah, but I have no idea what it is." She stood and walked to the center of the mouth. She listened with her eyes closed and tried to keep her balance. The sea sickness then reminded her she should not be standing. She fell backward and held her head. "Ugh. I didn't think about how sea sick I used to get.." She moved her hand from her head to her stomach. "How long do you think we have to go..?" The sucking noise began to get louder and the sound of water seemed clear. "I hope Poco Sal isn't sea sick too.." |

"I don't need to hear this thing's bowel movements or whatever that noise is supposed to be," Lornayth grumbled. He brought his hands to his ears and covered them in ice. His face wore a bothered, shut-the-stupid-fish-up sort of expression. He did his best to keep his eyes off the others. The noise seemed to fade away at first, but then it found its way into his covered ears. You've gotta be kidding me.. Is it getting louder? He pulled the ice off his ears just in time to hear the start of a new sound: that of trickling water. |

Fleuria got up to her feet as the noises become increasingly louder. She tilted her head to the side and folded her arms. "He shouldn't have that noise coming from him," she began. "There has to be something wrong further inside of his body." She paused for a moment think of what could have happened to the large fish. The noise had only just appeared, so it must've been recent. Perhaps from the shark? "He was probably injured during the battle," she said, stepping further into Poco's mouth. She stopped hesitantly, not exactly excited to wander into the gunk that lay waiting for her inside the carp. |

Lornayth sighed, withholding the obvious "Who cares?" remark. As long as they made it to Yesmuth, the carp could suffer whatever sort of pain necessary. As water began to roll past his feet, however, his attitude toward the situation changed. "How long did you say we'll be able to breathe underwater..?" he asked Fleuria as he rose to his feet. He stood against the wall to distance himself as much as possible from what was best described as overflowing stomach water. |
