She is still so kind to me after failing at being her knight, why did I even bother looking for them, I could stayed back and sailed to Vega instead. Sapaqura looked Fleuria with darting eyes that turned to tears. How could I even think that for moment, I came here because I wasn't going to be alone, I wasn't going to give up my knight duties and run like a coward. "F-f-fleurriiaaa!" Sapaqura sobbing and gagging on tears and snot. All the memories were flooding back to him stabbing him like a hot needles in his mind. Trembling on the ground with his hands over his head screaming, "I will not abandon you again, I'll never fail again, I am sorry, I am so sorry, I'm sorry!" He continued to breathe out more, "I am sorry"'s while nearly having his body go into shock.

In the midst of Sapaqura's humble apologies, a rumbling filled the sea around them. As the waves became turbulent to mark the onset of a violent storm and lightning struck in various places on the blue-black surface, an enormous shark drifted toward them. The carp dove lower to avoid it; Lor cursed as he tumbled into the air and caught himself on the roof of the fish's mouth.

"What's it doing?!" he demanded of Fleuria.

Xar looked suprised as the pain in his foot and hands faded after the dove had appeared. he didn't really knew what to make of it except that he could take of the leaves since all his burns were gone. when the rumbling started Xar stopped all thoughts as he tried his best to not fall on someone although it was hard since they were all just tossed in the air.

As the carp's body thrashed, Fleuria was tossed in the air a good bit, landing on Sapaqura's upper body upon impact. She winced, sitting up and shakily moved off him. With whatever was going on out in the water, it didn't seem she had much of a choice in determining what had happened to her knight.

She cautiously placed her hand on Sapaqura's cheek, gently turning his head to look toward her. Despite the chaos surrounding her, she managed to muster a warm tone. "You're forgiven, Sapaqura," she said quietly. "We'll discuss what happened later on, alright? I need to take care of what's wrong with Poco, right now." She tried her hardest to pull up a comforting smile for him, but it was a very slim and weak one.

Fleuria her best to stand as Poco ceased his diving and pulled his speed to a higher rate, trying to out swim the shark. She looked to Lornayth with an expression that was growing from confusion into concern. "There must be something chasing after it. I'm not sure if it's going to pose a threat to the summon or not." She paused considering what might happen. "Leaving his mouth will give us the ability to breathe in the water. If there's something we must fight, we should be able to do so. It will be fairly difficult, I'm sure."

Alarmed by the rapidly approaching great white shark, Poco took a sharp upward turn, circling backward; the massive carp had positioned itself just behind the passing shark. Though he was easily twice the shark's size, the summon dared not confront it directly. Instead, it pursed its lips and opened its mouth. The rush of oncoming saltwater forced Lornayth backward, but then with a lurch, the fish expelled him along with the other Spades. They tumbled through dark waters toward the now distant shark.

"Argghhhhhllleeee!" Lornayth yelled. "I can't bre.. Wait.." he trailed off, taking a slow breath.

Okay, never mind, I can breathe.

He gripped his staff in his hands and swirled around in the water to face the shark. It turned around in a wide arc and began swimming back toward them. Lor grimaced in self-pity.

"It was nice knowing all of you this past week.." he muttered. At the very least, he would try to face the thirty-foot shark, but underwater combat posed new and unexpected difficulties.. To top it all off, the pressure of floating so far under the surface of the sea left his chest aching. "Anyone have any good ideas?"

Xar tried to hold his breath as water rushed into the fish but when he couldn't hold it anymore he noticed he could breath even though they were underwater. when seeing how "easily" Lor was swimming, he decided to lend him a hand. he took of his own pants leaving him with wearing only a boxer to cover up a bit of skin. he wrapped his pants around his staff and swam towards Lor.
"here use my staff to keep from sinking. if the shark gets near just hit it with everything you have. your ice won't be of much help here anyway."
he didn't wait to see if Lor had taken his staff, although he hoped else he had lost his only pants. he then swam a bt away from the rest of the group trying to get between the shark and his masters.

Elita was hit with a wall of water. She had already felt sea sick, but now she was being thrown and tossed in all directions. She found herself outside of Poco Sal and was shot back. As soon as she had grasped her balance in the water, Tynne and Neve flew at her. She was knocked back farther, losing Tynne in the process. She held Neve close and looked around.

"Tynne!" Elita couldn't use arrow underwater, it just wouldn't work. She looked to everyone and soon saw the white fox swimming beside her. Tynne was her only way of attacking, unless if she wanted to jump onto the shark and stab with an arrow.

The thought made Elita cringe and she remembered Lor's swimming problem. She swam to his side to assure he was not sinking.

Lornayth took Xar's staff with a glare. Even after the explanation, he wasn't really sure what the fire mage expected him to do with it, let alone with his pants. He took one staff in each of his hands and swung them like wings in the water, propelling himself forward. The shark seemed to slow in its approach as if studying them..

It must be deciding which of us is the most delicious before sweeping in to devour us one by one..

He stared over at Elita rather helplessly.

"Hey, do you have any idea what Hot Hands was trying to do by giving me this?" He waved Xar's staff in his hand, emphasizing the pair of trousers fastened around it. While he turned his attention away from Neve, the kitten began paddling toward the looming form of the shark. Though it was only a black shadow on the background of the immense sea from their current position, it grew in size with every passing second.. and Neve intended to investigate it first-hand.

Xar kept swimming between the shark and the rest of the group. he wanted to protect them although he didn't really had an idea how. then suddenly the shark made a decision and swam straight at Xar. Xar felt the fear come over him, paralyzing his body. the shark made a turn at the last moment and swam towards Xar from his side trying to ram him with his nose. just before the shark hit Xar he regained mobility and tried to avoid getting hit by swimming upwards. but the shark was to fast and rammed his leg. Xar thought he heard a snap but he had no time to see that a piece of the bone in his leg was sticking out because the Shark was coming towards him again. this time with mouth wide open.

Lornayth pointed his own staff in Xar's direction as though he might aid the shark in gutting the fire mage, but instead, a chunk of ice formed in the shifting water. The five by five block of ice rose from underneath the shark, diverting it just barely. Its body would once again ram Xar if he failed to move out of the way. Meanwhile, Neve wandered alone through the salty depths in search of the shark. It passed directly over her head, casting a frightful shadow.. She tumbled upside-down in the water to catch a glimpse of it as it swam by toward the rest of the group.

"If I can get close enough to it, I can try to freeze its gills.." Lor suggested. Admittedly, he doubted it would work, but it was worth a shot.
