"Nothing. Nothing." She frantically pulled her hair back time and time again. She felt like she would vomit, but knew she wouldn't. Elita pulled her knees to her chest and rocked back and fourth. She wasn't thinking of her surroundings, just of her horrible experience. She held her stomach and coughed. Elita thought of her father punching her there many times. But one time specifically. She bit her lip and tried to erase it from her mind. "I'm fine.." She said to her self. "I'm okay. You are okay Elita." She held her head now, and stopped her rocking body. "It's okay." She looked at Lornayth and sighed deeply. She wanted comfort, but decided against it. Elita felt like she was cheating him out of happiness by even talking to him. She decided it would be best not to show him affection anymore. It was the only way she thought of to keep him from getting hurt. "I-I thought of something bad that happened.." She pulled her hair back one final time and tied it up. |

Fleuria nodded as Xar took his leave back towards the fire. She returned on her way further down the shoreline, seeking nothing but her own thoughts for just a while longer. As she continued to walk, she came across a collection of large rocks jutting out to the water. She slowly made her way over the stone formation, being cautious of whether or not the rocks would hold. When she'd been assured she wouldn't be tumbling into the waters below she sat herself down, letting her legs hang over the edge of the rocks, dangling above the water. Volair perched himself on a lone rock just a yard away from the rest of the formation. Fleuria sighed, taking hold of a small, flat stone and skipping it across the waters. "One. Two. Three," she muttered, counting the sips of the stone. She ran her hand through her hair as her eyes slowly drew shut, taking in the sound of crashing waves. Here, it's so perfect. Quiet waters and breezy air. No one's fighting over power, or magic. I want Acrea to remind me of this place, one day. With peace... and happiness. For every subject to be as carefree as the wind in my hair. She opened her eyes and pulled herself further from the edge of the rocks, drawing her legs back over the side. She laid herself back, looking up into the sky. Her eyes were greeted with stars and moonlight. I wonder if everyone would rejoice when mother and father are gone. Would they come to realize that their King and Queen weren't just as much monsters as those beasts they're creating. Would they blame it all on mages? Blame it all on me, even? She sighed, sitting up, looking at the moonlight reflecting on the waters. I wouldn't ever become them, right? There's not some inevitable thing inside me that will twist me up when I have the same power as them, is there? "I don't want to become them. I want them destroyed. Never to worry a single soul in Acrea or Eva again." As she said this, she looked with weary eyes to Volair. The bird promptly jumped from his stony perch to beside Fleuria on the rocks. He nuzzled his beak against her side. Fleuria smiled lightly, petting the bird's white feathers. "At least I have people I can trust to help me. Just like you, Volair." The bird looked up at her. "Elita and the rest will stay by my side, I know they will. It's going to be hard... But we'll get there. All of us." For a few more moment she looked up and silently watched the stars, while Volair silently watched her. Finally, Fleuria looked to the falcon saying, "Let's head back now. Who knows hat I've missed while we've been gone." She rose toh er feet, picking up her staff. Volair fluttered his wings and took his perch at the top of her staff. Fleuria made her decent from the small collection of rocks and was happy to be met by the soft sand beneath the soles of her boots. She continued back to the others, seeing a small light up ahead. Perhaps from another fire? What's that fire mage doing, now? She looked to Volair with a questioning expression, but the bird returned one of the same nature. Fleuria shrugged it off and continued making her way back. |

Lor stared in complete bewilderment at the elf girl. Obviously, the memory wasn't a pleasant one. He shook his head without a word. "Thanks," he said to Xar. He avoided using the mage's name, as he wasn't entirely sure about it - the more he considered it, the less certain he became. "Nothing to worry about, I guess." He stared out into the open sea with his arms crossed on top of his knees. A familiar churning entered his stomach as he pictured the shape of the elven land mass of Yesmuth. In a few days' time, they would enter Elita's homeland. But why do I have such a bad feeling about Yesmuth lately..? Maybe I'm just not getting enough sleep. |

Elita saw Fleuria walking towards them. Once she was close enough she fell apart. Elita stood and ran to Fleuria, crying and screaming. "Fleuria! Fleuria!" Elita fell onto her once she was in reach. "Fleuria!" She was crying uncontrollably and only wanted the comfort of her friend. "Fleuria!" She continually cried to her, wanting to be cared for. "I didn't mean to Fleuria! He made me!" Elita clung tightly to her friend. |

Xar turned back away from them and went on with his work. he still had alot to do and he had no idea when they might want to leave. he noticed the bowl wasn't hot anymore so he took it out of the sand and rushed it towards the water to place it inside the sea. as soon as he did the water turned into steam. when it had completly he looked at the result. it was a rough but decent bowl. big enough to be of use but small enough to be take along easely. |

Fleuria blinked in surprise as Elita collided into her. Her first instinct was to hold Elita just as tightly as she seemed to be hanging onto her. After a few moments of listening to the elven girl cry her name and sob against her, Fleuria pulled away from her, still leaving her hand on Elita' shoulders. "What's wrong, Elita," Fleuria said in a slow, soft voice, trying to prevent Elita from becoming more upset than she already was. She moved the bangs of Elita's hair further from her eyes, looking into them carefully. "What happened while I was gone, Elita?" she didn't break their eye contact for a single moment. |

"Talevor made me.." She sobbed. "Talevor wouldn't let me get away. He made me do it!" She cried louder and stood straight. "I didn't want to! He made me! I didn't want to get pregnant! I didn't want to!" She screamed in pain and held her stomach. She fell back into the sand and Tynne now ran to her side. Tynne licked her face and pushed himself under her arms. He stared up at Fleuria silently and whined. Elita sobbed against the fox and dug her hands into the sand. Edited by Elita, Aug 17 2009, 02:25 PM.

Fleuria's eyes drew back wider than they already were. Talevor... Elita's father? Cold realization dawned upon her. Elita had mentioned her family and that her father and she were never especially close, but nothing of this nature was ever mentioned! Fleuria immediately dropped to her knees beside Elita, looking down at her. She placed her hand gently on Elita's forehead, uneasy eyes looking at her friend. "Elita! Elita, it's okay," she said in a quiet voice, leaning her head closer to Elita. "He's not here, he won't hurt. He can't bother you when we're around. No one here's going to let anything happen to you, Elita." Fleuria wrapped her arms around Elita, partially lifting her body from the sand and holding her tightly. "I won't let anything happy to you." Edited by Fleuria, Aug 17 2009, 02:35 PM.

Lornayth stared at the back of Elita's head in horror. Her own father..? That one-legged asshole she told us about? Fury bubbled up in his thoughts. He imagined himself standing before Elita's father, gripping his throat tightly with a frozen hand. The mental representation of Talevor screamed in terror as the hand tightened around his wind pipe.. and then with a splatter, the body dropped to the ground. Lor refocused himself, breaking out of the visualization. ..Pregnant.. When did this happen..? Rather than rushing to Elita to comfort her, he decided to leave it to Fleuria. His eyes stared at the slight waves rolling ashore. Neve cautiously approached him with her ears low and her tail dragging in the sand. When he spotted the cat, he sighed. "You can feel it too, can't you? That something's terribly wrong here.." |

After almost twenty minutes of sobbing Elita sat up from Fleuria's arms. She still coughed and gasped for breath at times but the tears had stopped. She laid a hand on top of Tynne's head and slowly dragged her hand back and fourth. She didn't say anything for a long while and then looked to Fleuria. "I decided.." She whispered so that only Fleuria could hear. "I decided that Lornayth shouldn't have to deal with my problems. After we get to Yesmuth, I don't think he will want to be part of my life at all. Maybe none of you. But I don't want Lornayth to get hurt, or myself, So I decided that I won't like him. I won't love him." Elita stared at Fleuria. Her head pounded, and she didn't want to make an irrational decision, so she looked to her first and only friend for reassurance. "I don't want him to know what happened. I don't want him to be hurt by me." Elita looked back at Tynne now, who gave her a small whine and laid his head in her lap. She continued to stroke it. |
