What the title says.

1) Shadowrun RP. Yes, the one that was lost during the move from SotA to SofE. Heather's been nagging me to death about it. If you were 'round back in SotA, you pretty much know all there is to know already I bet. If not and you're somewhat intrigued or interested, I can post more info. The others might hate you for it, though ;)

Would run pretty much the same manner that the SotA instance was planned to be run.

2) GitS-themed RP. If you don't know GitS, then you won't grasp the potential value of an RP based on it. Ghost in the Shell, if you just need your memory jogged a bit. This RP would attempt to stay true to the setting, but would most likely take place in another location (i.e. not Japan). It would also be a lightweight semi-freeform, since there really is no other way GitS could be RP'd and remain enjoyable. Unless you want to go for online tabletop sessions. But then that's a lot of rules to learn for everyone involved.

3) Battletech/Mechwarrior-themed RP. Because that just sounds like epicfun. Just throwing this out there, since the idea has in the past garnered interest. Maybe not the battletech universe specifically, just something with big war machines raping people. À la Gundam, but less cheesy and childish. More gritty and, herm, "realistofictic" xD

Might potentially use pseudo-rules in the background, but those would be highly simplified to death and then bludgeoned with a power vibrohammer on crack by a mutagenic rancor. Then kissed by sparkly vampires. Most likely, it would be semi-freeform, but would still need some sort of guideline to prevent people from doing stuff they can't do or going beyond the limits of their 'mech when they're in one.

4) Heather's Warhammer 40k RP. Because she doesn't have the guts (for obvious reasons - *nag nag*) to post it herself. This would be run by Heather in whichever way she chooses.

5) Mages: The Awakening. Or WoD in general would also be interesting, though potentially problematic due to how compartmentalized each "section" of it is. Run with background rules, using the standard Mage rules of the latest edition ("The Awakening")

GitS sounded pretty interesting, but I think the mech RP would be the most fun. Unfortunately I think this would be another one of your little projects that you lose interest in before it can start. However, if you get it up I'd be more than happy to join. :P

Heh, well... I'd have to do a good bit of research to try #2, 4, and 5, and maybe a bit from #3 if rules are involved, so #1 gets my vote, mainly because I understand the system to a good extent, I already have a character I want to use, and I love the concept of such an RP to begin with. But either way, I'll give whichever one wins in the end a hearty try so long as I think I can keep up with it.

I did have Alpha Omega, which fell under #3, and it was built up with good, solid foundation, BUT you guys ignored it.

I'd say 1 because I'm at least somewhat familiar with it from last time it was up, but I'd be willing to try 3 or even 5 for that matter. >>

Crim: I didn't lose interest in the previous Shadowrun RP, I just didn't want to port it over to SofE immediately since that would've been a little overwhelming, and might have possibly not worked at all since I didn't know at the time who'd be on SofE and who wouldn't, and if interest was still there because of how huge the delay was.

RTMX: I don't see that it was ignored so much as there was a massive loss of communication with parties involved... sort of. I don't quite remember why it fell out, but it certainly wasn't because the RP was uninteresting (atleast IMO).

If we do my roleplay, which I was going to post as a suggestion anyway, there would be no need to do any research. I'm just that good that I would literally implant all knowledge of Warhammer 40K into your brain and you'd never even know it! The only thing you'd need to do is just participate. >.> It'd be more fun than any other roleplay you'd likely be in. Its got a good story too!

GitS or Warhammer (Fantasy or 40k) I am also available to help out for either of those due to the lore and or materials I have.

1 rule though... if I help you have to stay commited or I feed you to Cthulu. End of story.

Meh. Lore-wise and material-wise, I pretty much have all you could ever want regarding GitS, including two different editions of the GitS D20 RPG rulebook. Did you know that the Major is actually a klutz in regard to weapons? She's only that good because of her supreme software and hardware mastery over any sort of body, and because she's just such a damn good hacker that she can modify and tune her own programs to be beyond godlike in every respect.

Anyway, tidbits of trivia aside, it seems as though we have an impasse here. There happens to be about as much interest in Shadowrun, GitS, Mechs and Warhammer. Or so it would appear. Obviously, we don't have the time and resources to support that many additional RPs here - at least, I don't think so. I certainly wouldn't be willing to GM more than one, at any rate (because I know that if I try to, all of 'em are gonna go down the drain faster than you can pull a Scorp).

I guess we'll just give it some more time. There's also the possibility of Mega War 2 making a comeback, which I'm sure many of us would like to see.
