Previously, our policy regarding the acceptance of RPs has been that we will run a maximum of four RPs, leaving other proposed RPs to wait until an active one dies. However, I have noticed several flaws in said system, and have developed a new policy. After reviewing it over with members of the forum, and getting approval from a second mod, this is what I've come up with.

We will no longer have a maximum number of RPs on the forum. However, that is not to say we will not be limited. The number of RPs will be solely determined by the willingness of people to participate. Proposed RPs will be pinned and marked as pending. If people express interest in the RP, it will remain pending until it gets enough people committed to it to start. Once it gets enough people, it will be labeled as accepted and immediately be put up on the board. However, with this system you, the RPers, must remember to be responsible when committing to an RP. Only say you will join an RP if you are going to make a character sheet and actively participate. Otherwise, we will end up with a bunch of dead RPs sitting around. An RP can be labeled as rejected if no one expresses interest in it. If this is the case, the RP will be trashed to save space.

This system is designed to prevent potentially amazing RPs from being lost to waiting, and to give people as many opportunities to join an RP as possible. Remember, do NOT say you will join an RP if you don't have time for it. know a lot of you like to say you'll join every RP that gets proposed, but with this system you'll really have to think before you commit. If anyone has any questions about the new system, feel free to PM me and I'll answer you as soon as possible.
