This is some random poetry I wrote during my poetry minimester class today. I'm not even sure what made me write it, haha.

An airy scream, a frequent sob,
An infinite moment.
Shaking, shuddering . . .
Bringing the darkened sky to its knees,
Howling for forgiveness, in the midst of agony;
The goddamned saint changes his ways.
A fallen priestess broken on the floor,
Eeking out her final breaths.
Schrei!
Der Nacht kommt rot; der Sonne kommt weiß;
Und das Ende es kalt.

The corpse of the priestess lays moist and warm,
While the corpse of the saint flays until the mourn.
Crying, submissive,
A body lies defenseless.
Spring!
Der Feuer brennt die Kinder der Nacht.

Why do all poems submitted to this site always seem forsaken and gloomy?

Irregardless: Nice. Better than I could do.

I don't think I'm capable of writing anything happy, honestly. D:
Thank you though. ^^
