Character Name: Kayuke Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thaurissan&n=Kayuke Class: Shaman Character Spec: Resto Real Life Age (16+): 17 Raids 8.30pm -11.30ST **Raids can go past scheduled times. Usually, invites will start at 8-15pm ST and pulling by 8.30ST. -Are you able to make these raid times (Server time: PST) Yes or No? Yes -What is your 25man raiding experience: I have completed all of BC apart from Sunwell, Archimonde and Illidan. Took a break at the start of Wrath from my shaman, but returned just before Ulduar was released. In wrath I have completed Naxx 25, Sarth 25, Uld 25 including some hardmodes and even more in Uld 10. I have only briefly done TOC as I decided to quit WoW for awhile upon its release and focus more on finishing grade 12. On top of my WOTLK and BC raiding experience, Pre BC I completed ZG, AQ 20, MC, BWL and 1 boss in AQ 40. Through out Pre BC and WOTLK I have played as a resto shaman and in BC played as enhancement. -Are you familiar with the content we will be raiding? I have only completed ICC's first wing in 10 man, but I have been raiding now for a good four - five years and have yet come across a strat or situation I have not been able to pick up after 1 or 2 attempts. -Do you have Ventrillo and a Mic? Yes. -Why do you want to join Smashed I transferred from horde side with a group of friends who were in Perenial, but as the guild was going no where, all of them decided to go else where. I am looking for a guild that is capable of making progression through content. Raiding has been the most enjoyable part of WoW through out the whole time I have been playing. I have been in guilds that have failed at progression and ones that excelled, from what I have heard and seen Smashed sounds like a guild that has what it takes to progress. -Do you have a good grasp of your class? Have you read forums and done the research to ensure you play at the highest level? Could you give a brief explanation of you class role in a 25 man raiding environment? I believe I do understand my class very well, while my gear is currently lacking for current raiding content, my experience at playing my class has helped me a lot to keep up with healers more geared than myself. A resto shaman's role in 25 man raiding environment can vary depending on how they decided to build their gear and their chosen play style. A resto shaman can be a very effective raid healer through the use of chain heal and healing stream totem (with glyph of course), by stacking alot of haste and mp5, in the past I have found that a shaman doing this can keep up with the likes of a druid or priest when it comes to raid healing. Single target healing shaman in the past before the Riptide change to lesser healing wave would focus on stacking crit and mp5 to pump out quick heals with the ability to spam for extended periods of time if needed. With the change however, I find that building you gear to increase mainly mp5 and haste is the most effective in both situations. This has made the resto shaman even more effective in raids as we can now switch between raid healing and single target healing with the same gear build. On top of a shamans play style is the buffs that they bring to raids. Totems and bloodlust give raid groups massive buffs. I find that resto and elemental shaman are the only specs worth playing these days as enhancement's buffs are brought to the raid by other classes that do far more dps. Playing a enhance shaman in BC you were able to bring alot more to the raid with their buffs and especially the good old totem weaving we use to be able to do. -Do you use addons to help maximize your healing / dps? If so, which ones? I use a fairly bare UI, just DBM, recount and QuartZ Cast Bar with standard blizzard raid frames. I have experimented with a variety of different UIs, but have found most do nothing more than crowd your screen and lower your games performance. -What are your past guilds and why did you leave? (please note if you are in ANY current guild) Scourge of the Shadows - Pre BC with Hamburger, we were a fairly well progressed raiding guild but fell apart due to officers deciding to go their separate ways because we can turned into a stepping block guild pretty much. Shadow Scourge - Pre BC, completed MC and BWL with them, left to transfer server and continue playing with Hamburger and Snuffie (if you ever saw him on horde side). En V - I was a founding member of En V with cable and snuffie, we completed all of BC minus sunwell Archimonde and Illidan in En V, along with alot of WOTLK progression. I left En V cause the new officers after Snuffie quit were a bunch of idiots and decided to come to alliance with Hamburger and others. Perenial - Raided a few times in Perenial, but the guild, as I'm sure you know was not on the right track. The people that were in the reason I joined, but they have now all pretty much left. -Do you have any relevant healing / dps meters you can link us to (screenshots of recount or w are acceptable) I haven't kept any of my old recounts from runs or screen shot any sorry. -Will you be able to maintain a MINIMUM of 80% raid attendance? Yes, if anything were to come up I would let officers know. -Will you come prepared to raids with appropiate consumables (food, flask etc)? Yes, I have always brought food and flasks along with various pots depending on the bosses we were on. -Do you ever have latency issues, or do you suffer from disconnects regularly? Use to when I had wireless and the microwave cut it out... lol -Do you ever suffer from unstable framerates that cause you to freeze or run in place? Nope. -Are you applying for any other guilds? Nope -Who do you know in Smashed? Hamburger, Taranic, Niang, Phyche, Quiana Have you read: Smashed's Guild Charter Yes The IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: Choose wisely. Pie or Cake? The cake is a lie, so go for the pie! Are you a dramallama? Nah Edited by Kayuka, Jan 13 2010, 01:34 AM.

Very undergeared, lots of ilvl 200/213/219. Lots of blue quality gems. With the current healers we have im not sure if there is really space for a restoration shaman, That will be up to Drayvon to decide though. |

Decent app, glad to see most of our apps these days are able to sting a sentence together. Your gear and gems are a concern, as ovaries pointed out i doubt we could fit you in atm. |

We currently have no room for another Resto shaman. If this changes in the future we will be sure to let you know! Goodluck in your guild hunt. |
