you can only bloodbend during a full moon, and the suppy of water you get from the air, (about 1%), really isnt much to do anything with. I see waterbending as the defensive form of firebending, (as I see earthbending as the offensive form of airbending). what really sells me on the fire is the create out of nothing bit. you always have fire and you always have ALOT of it.

How is air more defensive than earth? That just isn't right.

Why do you think the airbender were so easily killed off? Simply because they were too offensively weak. Also, Vince, I wasn't aware that bloodbeding is only during a full moon, granted though, full moons are rather common. Also, humidity varies in region to region, so water vapor from the air is not completely unusable. Besides, if shit really hits the fan and you can't find any water you can always urine-bend

I think that they were too defensively weak to get wiped out that quickly.

"The key to Airbending is flexibility, finding and following the path of least resistance. Airbending is notable for being almost entirely defensive, however it is reputed to be the most dynamic of the four bending arts. Airbenders can overwhelm many opponents at once with large and powerful attacks that could prove fatal; however due to the pacifist nature of the Air Nomads such attacks are rarely used."

"Unlike other bending disciplines, Airbending is almost entirely a defensive art, similar to its practitioners, and is the most dynamic of all other elements."

And finally

"Contrary to the propaganda spread in the Fire Nation, the Air Nomads did not have an army, or any form of military, as Air Nomads believed in peace and harmony. This, coupled with the then passing Sozin's Comet, is likely why they were defeated by Fire Lord Sozin when he invaded the Air Temples at the beginning of the war."

Okay, you can only bloodbend during a full moon if you want to fucking move someone around. I was thinking just freeze their blood and go "suck it bitch."

Well that's gay. I thought Waterbenders could bend any liquid that was composed mainly of water.

yeah, but its a matter of power. I would imagine its pretty hard to bend a liquid filled with someone else's chi. same with metalbending. in theroy it should work, but only one person in the avatar world can do it.
