Not true. ...Although I do feel like this conversation/argument is going nowhere
Yeah, we got really off topic. But now I know not to make next week's political thread on abortion, seeing as we covered it here.

But the best insurance against our race dying off is to colonize other planets, because too much could happen that could destroy earth, to do this we would need:
1. Cold fusion (power long distance space travel)
2. Viable Cryogenics (so that humans could survive long space rides)
3. FTL(faster than light) space travel, or inter-dimensional space travel
4. Globally United Government (So that when we get there and Earth gets nuked, nukes aren't over there too)
That is the best contingency plan, yes. But it's expensive as fuck, and people right now aren't looking to be united. Also, if we get good FTL, cryogenics will be less important.
i meant to say that those were and either or to a certain extent

Ahh, I see. We need to get to work on instant FTL things. Would make like much better. Stupid theory about not being able to exceed C.

No one ever denied that we could exceed C, its just the part about turning into energy after doing so, which is why I think that inter-dimensional travel is surprisingly less far-fetched.

Or we could borrow a page from Mass Effect and lower mass of an object, allowing you to exceed objective C.

Well humans aren't evolving, we stopped natural selection right around the time of glasses, and even if we do solve the worlds problems like u all say we can, OVER POPULATION. As far as abortion goes, lets face it, there's a good chance that kid is gona end up in jail if the parent has to consider abortion (too young lack of money ectect)
Gary was here. Ash is a faggot.

Ahh, yes. We no longer naturally evolve, true, but we control it. Vaccines and things like glasses are our evolution.
