So you say potential is the important thing, and it is only potential once fertilized? However, what matters in life, and biology, is what exists at this moment. Should I be banned from sitting around doing nothing because I'm wasting the potential to learn how to create the cure to cancer?
No you should be jailed for having the potential to commit murder. (jk) If potential worked like that then we'd all be screwed. The point is that the degree of potential that you will find the cure to cancer is infinitesimal in comparison to a combined egg and sperm creating a baby. Potential is a gambling game, and mother nature calls the shots

Mother nature lost it's power when it gave humanity self-awareness. Having the ability to change our fates and increase our odds is where it's at.

Also, back to my previous point about what makes it human, until the fetus starts to develop the things that make it human, such as the areas of the brain that make it capable of self-awareness, it's not human, and thus does not deserve to same rights as human life.

So you believe that Mother Nature should have its way all the time, no c-secs etc.? I know what you mean, but humans have a huge amount of control over Nature, and you are drawing the line at a moral dilemma

The name of the game is Survival. Survival of our species. Whether Human, pig, or a fucking dragon, life should not be wasted (or the potential of life)

Then outlaw war, ban all guns, and force everyone into comas except for a select few to take care of them. That allows for greater survival, right?

Survival of our species is greater than a single, potential life. It is is better to abort a fetus than to have it be born to a mother who doesn't want it, living a terrible life and contributing an advancement to our species.

Then have it put up for adoption. Problem solved. btw global tyranny is a no no

Adoption? So force pain upon one life to save another, is that it? A woman should not be forced to give birth to something she never wanted, especially when options for abortion are available.
