You can't choose stillbirth. (We'll you can, but that's like murder.)

Chris, the reason they feel something is because they wanted a child, and the sadness is over the loss of what they thought would grow into a great child with whom they could share hteir life. When you get an abortion, you don't want the thing, thus most likely don't feel bad.

I sure she wouldn't regret it if she chose to, but other people care if a woman carelessly throws out a very potential life

My point is that the overwhelming potential for life is why the event is sad. The same potential that is thrown away by careless women

But Chris, there's potentional in life for every action we take. Every time I masturbate, I'm killing billions of potentional humans, but I don't feel sad.

I applaud the reasoning you used, but I already predicted you would say this. The thing is, the potential is justifiable after the sperm and egg combine. Separate they are just two components of organic biology. Not much more

So you say potential is the important thing, and it is only potential once fertilized? However, what matters in life, and biology, is what exists at this moment. Should I be banned from sitting around doing nothing because I'm wasting the potential to learn how to create the cure to cancer?
