It is GUARANTEED that we will eventually be socialist, however I don't think the main problem of humanity is our greed over others, rather our lack of courage as a whole, and lack of realizing how the system works. Like with our current financial crisis. all we do is hope the gov't is doing all it can to remedy the situation when it could be solved by a revolution. I'm not proposing we all grab the nearest shotgun and march on capitol hill, but we, as Americans, need to realize that the government works for US. not THEM. They are in place because we choose for it, and the only control over us is the control we give them. The best example of this is that congress has the right to vote for their own pay raises. They work for US. WE are the BOSSES and as such WE decide what THEY are paid. Also the presidential office needs to be a low paying job. You should want to be the president for the betterment of the country, not yourself. I am all for socialism, the European kind, not the textbook kind.

So, the mix of socialism and capitalism that I want? I agree, it really is the best system. I highly doubt we'll eliminate money entirely, since it goes against human nature to work for nothing.

Also, I agree about the government thing, but our system is so corrupt it's a bitch to change, and applying socialism to our current system won't work, due to such vehement opposition and the lost of corporate interests, which control the gov't.

I always love it when people go AHHHHHH SOCIALISM! when we have plenty already in place that work fine.
even when obama (who ran on the campaign of CHANGE!) got freaked out about heath care.
also "obama" is not in my computer's dictionary lol.

Lol nice. But yeah, people fear change because it's the unknown. People screaming about SOSHUALISM are people who are ignorant about our country. For example, as previously stated, we have the police and fire department. I like that system more than calling them up, then having to pay to have them put out my house fire.

And the freaking out about health care was because he was trying to pull in the moderates.

We can just walk into any Pokémon Center we please and get our Pokémon healed for free! That's socialism! I demand an expansion on the private Potions market so that we can treat our Pokémon however we choose out of our own money. Instead, our hard-earned Pokédollars are going to inefficient government employees all named Nurse Joy who will indiscriminately heal Pokémon - even if they come from other regions like Sinnoh, Hoenn or Orre!

How are small-time Gym Leaders supposed to afford Chanseycare for all of their trainers and Pokémon? Badges aren't cheap, you know! On the other hand, I think that Brock Obama should listen to that Professor Oak guy - he seems to know what he's talking about.

Ah, the debate is pointless. Everybody knows that the Rhyperlicans and Demochatots are both just in the pocket of the Silph Corporation anyway.
