Occupation: Freelance DJ and Radio Host
Grade Level: 3rd Year
Powers/ Abilities: She’s a specialized technopath that can create powerful sound and light equipment out of almost anything using only her mind (no soldering equipment or anything else required). Recently, after reading a book about hypothetic weaponry and watching a lot of anime, she perfected creating sound based weaponry and can now build sound cannons, sound grenades, sound guns and even vibrating swords or other hand to hand combat weapons if she tries hard enough.

She is, of course, also an excellent DJ and Radio Personality and in her old schools was often picked to lead school projects, class rep., or other demanding jobs because of her creativity, abnormal enthusiasm and inexhaustible energy.

To compensate for such abilities, it must be kept in mind that her weapons are created from everyday objects and therefore do not last very long and can often be faulty. Plus, she’s not weapons expert, so actually using the weapons she makes is a task all its own.

Equipment You Have: Microphone, super powered mini speakers and a hyper-advanced infinite power supply belt with twelve outlets.

Also, should the occasion suddenly and conveniently call for it, any type of electronic recording device (i.e. camcorder, tape recorder, digital camera etc.)

Residency Request: Yuki!!!!!

Schedule:
Homeroom: Hiro
1st: Supernatural Studies
2nd: Martial Arts
LUNCH
3rd: Music

Personality Description:

She is an active, violent volcano of unstoppable and unrelenting energy and enthusiasm for life. She finds enjoyment in most everything, and is never short of confidence, even in situations where she is completely at a loss. Being a DJ has been her dream since she was born and would often be seen playing with an old tape recorder and plastic toy microphone (not when she was little, this was around her freshman year). This has led to her often taking her work everywhere she goes with her and treating everyday life like a radio broadcast, or in extreme cases of self-delusion, a rave. It is unknown if she is capable of taking anything seriously, or if there is something in fact wrong with her that causes her to be completely disconnected from actual reality, but whatever the reason, she is not capable of negative thinking or sadness in general. She is, however very much capable of anger and is easily annoyed by people with negative attitudes. When angered, she will go to extremes to cheer up the person in question which usually ends in complete confusion and horrible injuries to totally innocent bystanders.

She is convinced that her parents did not, in fact, ship her away for to escape her loud, rambunctious lifestyle, but actually sent her to Japan once they noticed their poor Daughter’s ratings were down in the European scene , and might need a change of venue.
Personal History:

Dominique’s parents were a pair of famous rich American business owners in France. Her exposure to European culture was the catalyst to her love affair with loud, pounding eurotrance and DJing. Being the daughter of a rich couple, all of her needs were met and her parents bought her anything she wanted, which would eventually lead to the perfect cover for her technopath abilities. Her technopathy became apparent to her first when she was 9 years old and somehow managed to convert her mother’s convection oven into a subwoofer. From that day on, Dominique’s whole of existence would be dedicated to music and music paraphernalia. Whenever she would come home with large amounts of stereo equipment made from yard-sale scrap, she would simply explain to her parents that they had bought them for her a long time ago and go about her way. By age 14, she was one of the best DJ’s in France and even had an amateur radio broadcast set up in her room made from a coffee table, two television remotes and a radio broadcast dish. However, the constant pounding music coming from the club retrofitted out of what was once the little girl’s room quickly took its toll on her poor, aristocratic parents, and by age 17, they had had enough. So, two weeks after her birthday, when the party finally ended, Dominique was shipped to orient to finish school wherever it was they had bought tickets to. It just so happens, that the school nearest to the location just happened to be a school for students with strange abilities and quirky personalities. How convenient to the plot.

RP Sample:

“And since this is your tenth birthday, Joseph, we went all out and hired you a DJ for your little party.” Joseph’s beaming mother smiled as large a smile as she could muster, so proud was she her son was turning ten. But of course, as one might expect, in reality she was quite depressed being that she was in a loveless marriage, trapped by the existence of her son and inability to keep a steady job, but that was life to her. She thought, perhaps that all of this would have been so much more bearable if only her husband would help her every once in awhile, instead of dropping whatever work he didn’t want to on her shoulders. Or at least let her know when these sorts of large project were coming instead of informing her more than a week in advance. She thought of this party as an example as Joseph, turning the big 1-0, wanted to have a gargantuan party (his words exactly, after using a thesaurus to look up a bigger word for big). Now of course she had known that her son’s own birthday was on the horizon, but she had been trying to talk with Joseph’s lackluster father about it for the past two months, never once receiving a straight answer.

Finally, a week and a half before the big day, the subject of Joseph’s birthday was brought up around the dinner table, by none other than Joseph himself. It seemed that Joseph’s father had struck a deal with his son and promised to deliver him the biggest party that he had ever had the pleasure of attending in his short, 9 year old life. And his mother was not at all surprised when his father casually added, through a mouthful of polish sausage, that she would be handling it all. Still, it was all taken care of, the drinks, the food, the party and dancing equipment and even the DJ. She was quite worried at first at being able to find a professional to DJ a ten years olds birthday party on such short notice, but lucky for her one of the girls from the nearby neighborhoods just so happened to do just that. Indeed, Joseph’s mother was quite pleased with the result and couldn’t wait for the DJ to finish setting up. Her name, as she recalled was D-Rose, or something posh like that.

Her son smiled back at her, obviously contented by the whole operation and she quickly retreated out of the backyard and into the house for a soothing glass of hard liquor. Shortly thereafter, as she lounged on her husband’s faux leather couch with a glass of ice, she suddenly heard sounds of distress and disbelief coming from the backyard. The sounds rose and evolved into cries of incredulity and babbles of awe. Joseph’s mother felt a headache coming on; she was sure that one of the clowns had become intoxicated and peed on something he shouldn’t have (as was just her luck). She quickly set her glass down on a dark, lacquered end table and rushed into out the glass double doors onto the deck. What she saw there, left her slack jawed and without words or thoughts.

In front of her, unaffected by the three glasses of liquor affecting her perception, were two speakers and a subwoofer, all of a ludicrous height and size. The gargantuan, black pads towered over the small, suburban home, covering the next two homes in a perfectly rectangular shadow. Atop the giant black boxes surrounded by the awestruck crowd, a small, blonde girl, no older than 12 or 13 stood behind a disco booth, a pair of oversized headphones resting on her slim shoulders. She looked down at the small people below, ensuring the crowd was paying attention to her (not that they had much choice). She couldn’t wait to do her trademark introduction, as it always seemed to leave a lasting impression on her customers. She ritualistically raised her microphone into the sky, letting the sun shine brilliantly off its metal frame. Lowering it methodically to her lips, she took a deep breath and raised one finger high into the air.

Joseph’s mother, her face still wide with confusion, suddenly came to her senses at the sight of the small, hand-held mic attached to the dangerously massive tweeters and mid-range cannons. She didn’t even bother to get her son and turn to flee as the petite DJ took a deep breath.
