With the unstable power of the shattered Lost Logia that was guarded and lost by the Lanster Family, Dr. Faust is using it to create and power his own Enter... a Well, not quite, but it's close enough. With a resounding call of "Henshin! Phase Shift ON!" a new brand of powered heroes - err, heroines - come to save the day! ... Or at least try to, anyway. That is the premise behind the Musume Strike Rangers, a heroic group of, well, all women, who fight in powered Phase Shift armor to save the day! It also has the added bonus of reviving Yosuke's sentai idea. However, this is completely different from the usual Sentai/Power Ranger groups that you're used to seeing. Instead of rushing into the fray clad in spandex and masks and eventually combining powers to summon a giant robot to battle the oncoming evil, we've decided to kill off the middleman and just rush in as the robot itself. Okay, we're calling it power armor for the sake of correctness. Point being, they become Mecha Musume! After all, the best way to battle evil misguided Mecha Musume is to use Mecha Musume as well. And it's not just any mecha: for purposes of versatility, we're going with the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam simply because of its multirole capability. And thanks to Hyakuji science, Shiki Mizuno (yes, Yosuke's character - every sentai group needs a Zordon of some sort, after all, and the plot was discussed with him beforehand) is able to shrink the armor and the striker packs down to a very manageable size. All Musumes get their powers almost the same way as the Zecters from Kamen Rider Kabuto: they'll be flying around in the air on mini-skygraspers. Musume Lineup so far: Red Strike - Team Leader. Uses the Aile Striker Pack, and is armed with a beam rifle, shield and two beam sabers. It's also the only unit with the capable of sustained flight, and can help carry at most two other Rangers with her. Piloted by Aisia Asakura. ![]() Blue Strike - Melee and Martial Arts expert. Uses the Sword Striker Pack. Armed with one oversized anti-ship sword, one beam boomerang, and one shield with a rocket anchor on its left arm. Open ATM. ![]() Green Strike - Heavy Artillery expert. Uses the Launcher Striker Pack. Mounts anti-ship guns and a rocket launcher on its right shoulder and a large "Agni" Impulse cannon on the left arm. The cannon is chargeable. Piloted by Ayane Isuzu. ![]() Yellow Strike - Weapon Recharge Support unit and Sniper Unit. Uses the Lightning Striker Pack. Armed with two Electromagnetic cannons mounted under its forearms, and can extend for long range mode. It can also absorb some energy attacks and recharge other Rangers. Piloted by Elza Lanster. ![]() Pink Strike - Riot Control expert. Uses the IWSP Striker pack minus the railguns, beam boomerang and swords. Uses a Beam Gatling gun + shield as well as a bazooka. Isn't capable of sustained flight, but it can hover much like a Rick Dom. Piloted by Selene Frostfire. ![]() Obligatory Sentai Cannon - Complete IWSP Striker Pack with railgun, beam boomerang and swords. After the monster of the week/robot/giant enemy crab is sufficiently weakened, all of the Striker Packs are ejected and reform into the IWSP. Blue and Yellow Strike then take the two anti ship swords and use them to further weaken the enemy while Green and Pink Strike lend their powers to help charge the Obligatory 6th Sentai - Strike Noir. Details unknown. PM me regarding this one, as this one has different requirements (and it also uses the Strike E, not the normal Strike, so the details of how she shows up are completely different). All units come equipped with Armor Schneider daggers and head-mounted vulcans. Also, all units come with SEED Mode (Synchronized Emergency Enhancement Desperation) that comes in three flavors:
The color of the aura you get during SEED mode corresponds to your ranger color of course, and the mode itself lasts for at most three posts. You can choose between the three once you activate it, but can't switch between them during SEED mode. Once it's used up, you'll have to either wait nine posts for it to recover or hopefully have Lightning Strike help recharge it somehow. Note that even as Musume Rangers, your powers are still available for use, but try to use them sparingly, as if anyone recognizes you by your powers, that would be a problem ![]() PM either Yosuke or Pikachu_Fragger if you're interested in joining. The requirements to join the remaining
Now of course, there are a few things that could get you kicked out from the team if you don't do it right (or maybe getting kicked from the team could add something new to the Sentai premise, you never know) but these are what will get you removed.

Are the Gundam build like normal gundams or are they build into MS girls? |

Nope, MS girls. Why else would they be Mecha Musume if they didn't show a little leg, after all?

And that makes five! The circle is now complete. Well, sort of. Strike Noir is still open, after all. And since the Gundam fell nearby in the beach event in the first place, a thread will be made there soon~ |

少し, 頭冷やそうか...

Unless you radically alter the definition of 'musume' to include 'Sons'. Though IIRC, they mentioned Strike Noir might be a guy to fill the manservice quota... |

Lol, no. Nickle already asked to be Strike Noir, and I said no boys allowed. This is completely yuri - err, female. ... Though if you guys REALLY want a manservice quota for this, someone needs to shrink Freedom. >_> Or maybe even come up with a rival set of rangers that use Impulse instead of Strike. The possibilities are endless! ![]() *continues plotting* Edited by Pikachu_Fragger, Sep 29 2008, 11:24 PM.

What's Strike E? Akatsuki is an upgraded Strike, so I guess that's passable. Strike Freedom, very no. Infinite Justice, very no. Destiny and Legend, negatory. |

Strike E was another one of those upgraded versions of Strike that the Earth Union used in Stargazer. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/delta-astray/gat-x105e.htm As to the other overpowered suits... no. :p Hence why I said at worst, Impulse would be there. X isn't even from SEED, and that bugger's toting a GIANT WAVE MOTION GUN. I dunno about Akatsuki though. |
