Character Name: Faelynn Kai Williams Nickname: Fae Gender: Female Age: 18 Date of Birth: 13th of July Race: Half-Human, Half-NonHuman Height: 5'3” Weight: 135 lb. (roughly) Description/ Image of Appearance: Faelynn has unusual silvery colored haired that sparkles in the moonlight. With eyes the color of bright blue skies that seem to flash a small window to her soul, but can become as glassy and cold as ice when needed. With pale white skin, her cheeks and the tips of her ears were the only parts on her petite form that would flush depending on her moods. She's slender with curves in all the right places. ![]() Occupation: Student, Transfer Student Grade Level: 4th Year Powers/Abilities: -Enhanced Senses- Having lived her life without the knowledge of who her real parents were, she grew up thinking she would be like every other ordinary human. Her abilities started to bloom the year of her fourteenth birthday. It started with her senses. Everything seemed to magnify in volume, scent, taste, texture, depth. It started with being able to smell a person's perfume or cologne and notice that they were at least fifteen feet away from her. Then her eyesight seemed to magnify. She always had 20/20 vision, but she was able to see the distinct color of a person's eyes, was able to describe the person's features, from the same distance. Her hearing came last and it was by far the most enhanced sense that she had developed. She could hear a person's reply over a cellphone from close to thirty feet away from her, surrounded in a crowd or not. After being put through varies blood tests and mental screenings from a special doctor her adopted parents had paid heavily to keep the matter of her illness in the dark, they discovered something that changed her life. She had developed enhanced senses. They estimated her senses at least doubled that of a normal human who had spectacular hearing and eyesight. Her scenting was more enhanced then a bloodhounds. It was an awakening ability that she would later discover that it had came from her birth father. An inherited trait that would lead to more frightening experiences. -Shape Shifting- On the night of her sixteenth birthday, a full moon rode high in the sky and it had seemed to call to her even before it finally filled the sparkling night overhead. That night when the moon was at its highest point, she found out what her second ability was. Chest heaving, body screaming in agony, she shape shifted. Dropping to all fours, bones shifted underneath her pale skin, something she never thought possible. Pain like never before lashed though her as her limbs lengthened and reformed. Silvery white fur seemed to sprout from her very pores, covering her weak trembling form. The sound of moans of agony and ripping cloth filled the night until the pain finally and mercifully stopped. Panting on four legs, she was horrified and amazed to see that she was standing on four silvery paws. She had shape shifted into the beast that her father had been born of. A wolf. A being held by the moon, but had the freedom to roam and the form to do it in. She learned that after that first change, it didn't hurt quite as bad. All her enhanced senses seemed to be almost double what they were in her human form. Sight, hearing, scent. She could see a little farther and her hearing went with it. But her scenting was that best of both forms. She didn't become feral or wild like she thought might happen. Her thought processing remained the same in either form, fortunately. Later, upon accidents and trials, she discovered that she was able to change form at will, but only into the silvery wolf she grew to love. High emotions seemed to trigger the change, any surge of adrenaline seemed to feed the wolf. Anger, fear, excitement. She learned that it was best to stay a wolf for at least eight posts before shifting into her human form. Shifting was draining and energy consuming, but worth it. A full moon was the one thing she couldn't escape from. That night when the moon was high, she would change whether she wanted to or not. There was no choice. She was a captive to that glowing orb until it disappeared behind the morning rays of sunlight. Roughly ten posts or when the moon fades from the sky. -Enhanced Speed- After that night, she noticed that aside from the enhanced senses and shifting, she was faster then she had ever been. Her reflexes and reactions seemed to intensify until she was a mere blur to the human eye. She estimated her new enhanced speed to be at least five times more so then a human's, but she never tested it. After months of tests and prodding, she tired of all the needles and obstacles the doctors threw at her. She liked who she was becoming and the speed was a rush she began to look forward to. Catching dropped or thrown things became a piece of cake. Chasing wild life in the woods became a child's game with the speed she gained with each passing year. She began to hunt for the one that would give her a challenge. Human, animal, or Nonhuman. Anything or anyone who could test her senses and (so far) unmatched speed to their limit. Equipment You Have: School Supplies -A white thin laptop -Three suitcases and a large trunk full of her clothes and shoes -A blue pendant she keeps around her neck from her birth mother. -Enough money in her checking account that she could live in lavished comfort for her entire life (inheritance from her real parents) -A new glimmering midnight blue Chevy Camero that she keeps in perfect running condition to get to where she needs to go. -An iphone 6 Residency Request: Fudo House, Rm 455, bunking with Luon Grace Kuran (when she completes forms) Schedule: Homeroom- Lavender 1st-Supernateral Studies 2nd-Survival Studies 3rd-The Arts Personality: Being raised human, Faelynn stilled never felt that she fit in the crowd. Making friends was no problem for her when she was younger, but as she grew older and life seemed determined to teach her a few things, she changed. Faelynn became quiet and more observant when she first met anyone new. For everyone she had come across seemed to have another side to their glossy coin. Trust was not something that she gave out easily, but must be earned. Though, she didn't trust well, she was very open minded and willing to hear anyone out. Life taught her to guard her heart as well as her secrets, for not all are sincere in their passion and feelings. Good guys never seemed to win with matters of the heart or so she assumed. Secretly, deep in her wounded soul, she craved for someone to come along and sweep her off her feet. She yearns to have someone strong and honest enough to show her that not all men are bad and untrustworthy. That the good do win. That they people she loves aren't cursed to die. Personal History: Faelynn was born half human and half werewolf, a race that was rare and well sought out for their unique abilities that they were born with. She never knew any of this though. When she was but a babe, her mother gave her to a human couple in hopes that she would never inherit the special traits from her father and live out a human quiet life. That's what she did. For fourteen years, Faelynn lived and loved the Williams Couple until the changes began. After being tested and poked at by a private doctor, her parents, or so she had always thought them to be, explained that they knew who her real parents were. That her father had been the one born with the abnormal abilities. That the enhanced senses came from his side of the family. They wouldn't explain anymore to the desperate scared girl, no matter how she cried and begged. All they said was that they prayed that was the only thing she got from her father. Two years later, after Faelynn had researched and hunted down an explanation to her bewildering ability, she experienced her first excruciating shift. She knew then after her bones had reformed and the soft silvery white hair had sprouted over her body, what her adopted parents had feared she would be. Her father had been a werewolf and she had inherited his ability to shape shift. Learning that she had grown up on a lie, she decided that she wanted to learn about the half of her that had been kept in the dark. She hunted out those of her kind, in hopes of learning who she was and who her father might have been. Only a handful of beings like herself came forth and admitted what they were. She would soon know why they kept silent. A month before she had turned eighteen, she had come home with the exciting news that she had found a lead as to where her father might be. She had run into an Alpha wolf and had been startled when he had pulled her aside and demanded her name. After mumbling a response, he seemed to deflate. Apologizing, he explained that he thought you looked like one of his friends that had gone missing a year ago. A Micah Grehys. Said that she had the same color hair as him and her eyes. Her eyes had reminded him of the Micah's mate. Emi Grehys. Driving home, she parked her thundering Chevy Camero and hadn't noticed that her front door had been gaping open. The moment she stepped into her one story lavished home, she was hit with the smell of raw meat and blood. There had been so much blood. It had soaked into the tan carpet and squished underneath her sneakers. What was left of her adopted parents... she couldn't identify a body. Whoever had slaughtered them had tried to make a statement. That or they had come here looking for her and had gotten to her parents instead. After the police and cleaned and taken the parts of her parents away, they asked her if she had any place to go. For whoever had killed her parents more then likely would come back to the house looking for her. She was going to make sure that didn't happen. After hunting and searching, she came across an application to attend the Hyakuji High. It was clear across the world from where she lived and it was marked for the special and gifted students. She would be able to finish her schooling and maybe, just maybe, she could learn where her real parents were at. If they were still alive. Mashed Potatoes? There is no spoon. Alrighty, i'll be helping you with your profile. While you've clearly stated what your powers are, I'm going to need you to give a rough statistical statement about them. How enhanced are the senses? Twice as good as a humans? Moreso? Likewise if you can go into the more mechanical detail about her ability to shape shift. Can she shape shift into multiple forms, is there any attributes that are increased when she has shape shifted? Is it temporary before reverting for a time? How fast can she move with the enhanced speed? Please make the edits and reply. Edited by Shadies, Jan 18 2015, 03:13 AM.

Enhanced Senses: These are fairly fine at a 3 times human level though I will point out that that is still a high improvement on senses. As in to the point where everyday life would be held back by it. Might want to have them possibly dulled in human form so it's not overwhelming for the character and have them become their full potential in wolf form. Shapeshift: It would be better if it was changed from a time measurement to a measure of posts. For example, Voluntary shifts last for 8 posts instead of an hour. Then you can have involuntary shifts, be able to last longer, maybe 10 posts. Enhanced Speed: 10 times a normal human is reasonably high for enhanced speed, i'd say half it and you'd still easily be as fast as a car if not moreso. If you want it to remain at 10 though, I'd judge it as Super speed instead. |

I dulled the senses to double of a human, three times as much in wolf. The shifting I limited to the posts that you suggested. ^^ And the speed I did drop down to the five. |
