Character Name: Daisuke Teshigawara, though his name from his father's side is Joshua McTavish.
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Height: 5'9ft
Weight: 167lb
Description or Image of Character Appearance: [Daisuke] , [Daisuke2], [Johnny Black] , [Johnny Black2]

Occupation: Student and masked Vigilante
Grade Level: Second Year
Theme: They are all those of "Justice" - JJBA OST
Powers/ Abilities:

Absolute Convergence: First Degree
To anyone but himself, the ability is rather simple: Daisuke is able to create a perfect copy of himself that has his memories, personality and capabilities by opening anything that can be opened even if it was unable to hold a person inside of it from a door to even the lid of a cookie can. In that case, like a contortionist that Daisuke emerges, only to return to his original dimensions. However, there is more to this ability than what it may seem: the copy is not actually generated by Daisuke; rather, it is 'invited' to his realm. The true extent of his power is not being able to create clones, rather it is merging divergent paths. Say, that for example, in an event where Daisuke is confronted by a teacher regarding a question, he answers it correctly. Now, the flip side possibility for him was to answer wrongly. Therefore, the user is able to directly bring to his decision branch the Daisuke of the opposing choice into his own current choice. Therefore, the Daisuke that answered wrongly will appear by his side, he being the Daisuke that answered Right. But given how very little changed during the time when he answered the question, there is no difference between them save for the fact he was admonished by giving the wrong answer. In short, this ability allows Daisuke to directly bring to his current 'decision branch' another Daisuke from a differing branch in which he chose any choice differently from the original Daisuke. Only clothes and personal items that belong strictly to the original Daisuke will be on the diverging copies that are created: stolen goods or weapons even if held dear by him will not be transferred over. Only one decision point can be used within an hour of any other: this prevents Daisuke from simply creating more copies at one time just by doing something simple. For example, if he was equipped with a gun, he cannot simply think whether or not he wants to go somewhere and then summon two identical copies with the diverging choices. Rather, he has to choose from separate decision points one hour apart from each other. He can return any other Divergent Daisukes by willing their disappearance while shutting a door on them.

The ability itself has limitations: he can only draw a fellow Daisuke from a choice he has made in the last 24 hours. This is what he defines to be a 'First degree'. Therefore, he can only ever summon as many Daisukes as he has made 'decision points' or choices during his day (not counting the ill effects of Divided we Stand). While each 'divergent' Daisuke has his memories and goals, they are still fully independent and may not necessarily listen to the orders of the original Daisuke. If the original Daisuke decides to perform an action contrary to his personality set, the other Daisukes may either question, disobey or even go against his course of action. While the copies do share his memories up until that point, anything that the Divergent copies of other Daisukes has learned must be relayed verbally to the original or other Daisukes, thus limiting their capabilities for intelligence gathering. The use of this power is extremely taxing to the body, therefore Daisuke can only stably summon up to 3 other divergent copies of himself: he is physically unable to summon any more than that amount at any time.

If he had been able to summon up to a Second Degree, he could summon a Daisuke from many weeks ago or even up to a Third degree, an entirely different Daisuke from his current state; perhaps one that existed in an alternate world as a soldier, perhaps even a feminine Daisuke from another parallel universe. A degree is the measure of proximity of choices: a first degree choice would have been made in an immediate time while a third degree could have been made decades ago.

Divided We Stand
Although the creation of a fully autonomous and identical clone is quite a powerful ability, it has it's own weaknesses. Each and every 'Divergent' Daisuke clone acts on their own accord and may only be influenced by the original Daisuke. They are free to act, help or even betray him if they so wish. His influence over converging differing decision points only works on himself, therefore he is unable to create clones of anyone else, save for himself.

Only the 'original' Daisuke is able to summon more versions of his diverging self. Should the original Daisuke die, in the next hour another Daisuke will become the 'original'. The Original Daisuke is marked by his ability to tell how many copies of him or if any copy is alive wherever they may be. Thus, if all Daisuke copies die within the hour of downtime, Daisuke will die permanently. The corpse of the non-original Daisuke will disintegrate quickly in the span of 5 minutes. The original corpse, should it come to such, will decay normally until the designation of original is passed on, after which the corpse of the previous 'original' Daisuke will disintegrate in the same manner and time as all the others.

Equipment You Have: Daisuke carries with him the basic necessities needed to be able to survive in this day and age: his wallet, some ID, a cellphone and most importantly, his notebook. In said notebook he records the 'crimes' of others no matter how small, from littering or hearsay rumors of sexual abuse. The items above are always the items his other versions plus the clothes they are currently wearing.

As the brutal vigilante Johnny Black, he equips a skull-like face mask, a hood and bandages to cover his arms. He usually carries with himself the notebook prior and any kind of weapon he is able to scrounge up at the time; knives, axes or any blunt object of sufficient weight.

Personality Description:
Career-minded and focused, Daisuke is calm, clever and collected. He acts in a manner much more mature than others. He has a strong individualist streak, often confident he could complete any task assigned to him by himself. Endowed with a strong sense of justice, Daisuke is strangely intolerant of any misdeed, whether it be as minor as being late for a presentation meeting or taking the 'wrong' side in political discourse. A bit sharp-tongued and sarcastic, Daisuke knows when to give his praises to others when it calls for it, though he prefers to keep to himself most of the time he is perfectly comfortable in a group setting mostly as the leader, however.

Beneath all that lies an entirely different Daisuke. Poisoned by tragedy and disillusioned by the justice system, he believes in a different form of justice: one enforced by death and hard justice. In his own words, "You live by the Law, you die by the Law. Those who oppose this rule are judged by it... and the only sentence is death." Ruthless and overconfident, he looks down on the innocent and guilty alike, believing that his brand of excessive justice to be pure and correct. With a tinge of a messianic complex he believes he is cleansing all of Tokyo with his actions, caring not for the welfare of those whom he attacks. He views those whom commit any sort of crime to be no different to a cockroach he squashes beneath his heel. Why would one dare to be concerned about the life of vermin? In that same sense, Daisuke sees no qualm for killing, even those who are innocent: in his eyes, those who do not join him merely perpetuate the failed rule of Law. Calculating and devious, Daisuke will not hesitate to manipulate others for his own gain. While seemingly reckless, Daisuke assesses his own risks and can take action should it favor him, though he can be easily provoked into reckless action through taunting.

Personal History:
"I want to become a Hero some day!"
Daisuke often dismissed petty dreams of heroism at the present day, yet even he was a victim of such a fantasy: when he was but a normal 7-year old boy, that was all he desired to be. The son of a Scottish businessman and a Japanese accountant, Daisuke was often lost in his desire to become a hero. Between the absence of his parent and his father overseas for their busy lives, he would rarely be found away from the television watching the likes of Maximum mask, his favorite sentai super hero. Even on the playground he memorized every pose, every catchphrase and every speech his hero would give, all in the name of justice. Even though he was laughed at, he lived high upon his moral code, always helping others and standing up to bullies, with mixed results.

Yet, no matter how hard he prayed, justice would not side by him as he sat bound facing his parents. Just at his 9th Birthday, an armed robbery occurred as his aunt and uncle, including him were restrained. The robbers ransacked the house, trampled on his cake and forced him to lick it clean, threatening to shoot his aunt. Amidst his tears, he silently prayed for Maximum Mask, even anyone to come and help them. Though, no help came as the marauders soon forced themselves upon his aunt, after shooting his uncle at the back of the head, blood splattering against his body. The traumatic rape scene was seared into his mind, burning away his pure, thoughtful innocence, replaced by something else...hatred, loathing and disgust.

Shot five times soon after, his aunt and he were left to die, only for him to awaken in a hospital. Barely saved by the authorities he managed to recover, even though his aunt and his uncle perished. He expected only the worst of sentences for those who destroyed his idlyic life, but the normally polite boy was outraged when they were given lenient sentences by way of the co-operation of a corrupt cabinet member. It was then, that he realized, all alone in that cold hospital room...that there was no justice in this world. No on will ever exact vengeance for his aunt and uncle...no one...but him.

If this world did not have justice... then he shall become it's justice. And with it, bring an endless torrent of blood.

An obsession for revenge masked under a perfectionist streak, only in his maddened desire to kill did his ability truly surface: at first he conjured such under the impression they were imaginary friends, but only when another him offered to aid him in his crusade for justice did he truly realize his talent. Training himself physically while tempering his revenge with self-righteous anger, it was on a cold Sunday night that upon the dead body of the now-pardoned burglar from that day, many years ago did the malicious entity known as Johnny Black emerged. A masked vigilante that dispensed cruel and hard justice in the dead of night. Maiming and murder were imparted upon anyone who has or whom he perceived broke the law...all in his desire to attain 'justice' even after he had long avenged his aunt and uncle.

However, as of recent times, he came under increasing pressure from the police investigations that severely hindered his capabilities. After talking to plotting with another him, he staged the supposed 'murder' of Johnny Black, going right into hiding soon after as he entered Hyakuji High as a normal student, awaiting for the right moment to bring the dreaded enforcer of brutal justice back to the lawless alleys of Tokyo.

Bump

Removed the self-damage recoil for clones defeated. They are still limited by a total number of clones per day.
