Hyakuji 2.0 Template Character Name: SCP-184, Subject 184 or simply 184. He has yet to be called a true human name. Gender: SCP-184 identifies with himself as a Male. Age: SCP-184 appears to be about the age of 16. Height: 5'8 feet Weight: 167lbs Description or Image of Character Appearance: [SCP-184] , [SCP-184/2] Occupation: Student Grade Level: First Year Theme: Area 184 - persona Powers/ Abilities: Transdimensional Space Expansionism SCP-184 has earned the epithet "Architect" for a reason. The user can manipulate by expanding the inner dimensions of an enclosed room without altering the outer dimensions of the enclosure itself. Therefore, the ability can create rooms that are bigger than what they may seem, especially from the outside. SCP-184 can increase the inner dimensions by a will up to twenty meters per second, extending the distance from wall to wall without increasing the height of the walls itself from the outside. There is no limit to how much more space the room can generate; SCP-184 itself so far has yet to surpass expanding space beyond 584km, it's personal best. However, the ability itself has limitations: the stronger the entropy in the enclosed space, the slower the increase becomes to the point where the increase becomes negligible. In a way, the distance creation value is square rooted with the result divided by three for every person inside. Hence, SCP-184 has difficulty using or effectively exploiting its power in crowded, active areas such as classrooms or cluttered rooms like tool sheds. The more objects in an enclosed space, the less effective it's power becomes. Normally able to extend distances with upwards to 20 meters per post when accompanied by someone else or alone, but the value decreases by the square root of the value divided by 2 for every other person after the second. In an overly crowded setting such as a room the increase is so miniscule it becomes negligible and unnoticeable; Beyond a value of 0.1, the increase is treated as so very miniscule as to have any effect on any situation. If the user leaves the room that he has modified, the room will revert to it's proper state, crumbling walls and created objects. Rooms that he exerts the most influence in or visits more frequently would retain the changes longer: his room will retain the changes for up to two weeks even without him being inside of it. Rooms that he seldom visits or contain too great of entropy will dissipate the effects of his abilities faster when he leaves the enclosed space: classrooms he modifies may change it's inner dimensions but will return to it's normal specifications should be take a step outside of it. This ability works best in a purely defensive mindset, working effectively against a single or two opponents, even if the latter is definitely pushing his power to the limit. This ability cannot be used in open spaces such as the outdoors or in a park. If the enclosed space is somehow no longer enclosed, the effects of the user's ability remains for as long as he is inside the building, but he cannot increase the dimensions of the space or create more room duplicates in said area. Room Duplication Should the expanded room allow for it space and dimension-wise, SCP-184 begins to create new rooms, hallways, stairways and even entire floors within the enclosed space. The creations themselves do not necessarily have to be structurally sound: SCP-184 can create or modify stairs to become an Escherian Stairwell at any time by will. The ability works fastest when the user creates duplicate rooms and/or hallways that are identical to the actual setting it is based upon such as his own unmodified dormitory room. For example, creating dorm rooms in his own room would materialize faster than creating a luxury suite. The user can create complex structures that can span an infinite amount of floors by essentially creating a building in a room. Rooms are built gradually, objects being filled out as though the material was created out of thin air: a vase would generally phase into reality bit by bit instead of simultaneously, where the speed of the construction varies based on he entropy and/or complexity of the room in question. Generally speaking, if SCP-184 is alone he can create any object and a room in an instant, yet adds 1 post for every person present in the room. The rooms can be modified in any way, whether to stretch, twist or turn it in his own desire. Items in the room created this way are fully functional and can only be objects found in the copied room in question. The user is unable to create any objects that is either not in the original schematic of the room itself or something atypical of the setting itself. If the user is uncertain of the features within he room, such as containers like drawers and interiors of such things, they will remain empty unless the user is actively certain of what was inside. For example, per say in the original iteration of the room, a student has a diary inside. If SCP-184 hadn't seen what was inside, the drawer will yield nothing when replicated. This applies also to books: shelves duplicated will only contain the content of the books that the user had read of in that iteration. The state of the room is based upon the most recent memory the user has of that room or the last visit. Even if the room to be created in question is messy at the moment, if the user has seen it while it was clean it would appear as a clean, tidied room instead of the former. The user can only create rooms and structural phenomena from their own memory, of rooms that the user has physically been inside of. This does not count rooms in paintings or pictures; SCP-184 must have been in the room at one point in his life to construct it. No matter how fast a room can be created, the space itself must be able to support the room to be created. If the user leaves the modified room, the constructed space will be the first to revert, then the expanded dimensions of the enclosed space itself. The ability is mostly ineffective in areas with the most change or entropy: similar to Transdimensional Space Expansion, Room Duplication is ineffective in crowded and overly complex rooms. As with the first ability, this can only be used in enclosed spaces. Rooms crumble and are blown gradually when deconstructing as if they were made out of sand. Equipment You Have: SCP-184 carries little with him except a strange, black metallic dodecahedron with him as a keepsake; a gift from Klein before he left for Hyakuji Highschool. Residency Request: Yuki Schedule: Homeroom Teacher: Lavender 1) The Arts 2) History 3) Literature Personality Description: SCP-184 is considered a 'Safe' organism, yet given it's autonomy and sentience, it is designated as a Euclid-Class organism for it's unpredictability. Despite this, SCP-184 is generally calm and composed, though somewhat reclusive. Soft-spoken and respectful, SCP-184 is rather friendly and approachable but tends to distance himself away from crowds and multitudes of people. SCP-184 procrastinates often and subsequently achieves poor grades. Untethered to any one belief, SCP-184 can be easily coerced into believing anything, but should the opportunity show it, he could eschew any of his 'beliefs' to fit into any conversation. This may be because of his willingness to please others through agreement even though their beliefs may contradict his own set of values. SCP-184 often addresses others casually, sometimes dropping the use of honorifics when addressing others. On a personal level SCP-184 is rather socially awkward, having been taught 'proper' interactions with humans by Scientists on a case by case basis, he is unsure of how to react to atypical situations, often leading into strange if not outright embarrassing moments. Personal History: SCP-184's life has always been filled with questions he could never attain the answers to: just why was he born? Why were others watching him from behind one-way glass? Just who was he? Unaware of his presumed 'dangerous' existence, SCP-184 quickly realized just why he was 'different': approached by an eccentric professor he knew only as 'Klein' , she explained that despite appearing like a human, he was anything but: his power, though unexplained, allowed him to defy causality by expanding the space of an interior even beyond what was allowed by the room's outside dimensions. Even as he asked the questions that plagued him, he was met by only silence. As he grew up, frequently kept in check by Klein, his powers began to mature. He could construct rooms in enclosed spaces he has expanded, creating labyrinthine arrays even beyond the capabilities of mundane architecture. Endless spiral staircases that led to the sky, shrinking hallways that led into various rooms, SCP-184 constructed such marvels with ease, all within his own room. A stronger bond formed between that of SCP-184 and Klein, despite the organization's insistence not for her to form a close kinship with one of their 'subjects'. His one true wish was to find the answers about his own being and on one fateful August day, his chance came. Greeted by a tearful Klein, the Scientist tearfully greeted him, telling him that he was granted a chance to wander amongst human beings in an unprecedented experiment to see whether or not a Euclid-class subject with sentience can, under right conditions, merge in human society. Given strict orders not to exercise his power lightly, SCP-184 enrolls in Shin Hyakuji Highschool, for the first time experiencing 'human' contact that Klein had so meticulously prepared him for.
