What is this thing?

Poor David was currently unconscious courtesy of his head banging against the ground after he collided with Matthew. Odd that Lavender turned her attention to Matthew instead of the boy that was flung through the air. Oh well. That's just another reason for Jack to generally dislike authority. They ignore what's right in front of them. He leaned back and whispered into Lilica's ear. "Help me out here. I want to see if I can get someone to pop a blood vessel." Why was Jack being so antagonistic to others? Well lets just chalk it up to spending too much time with Jason. The cyborg's wackiness is starting to rub off on Jack. The Lycan was in a wacky mood today. And now Matt was giving both him and David a veiled threat. Jack sighed and responded in kind. "Anyone who cares if the pirate is insulted say so now." He posed the question to the group gathered here. He then turned his attention to Setsuna. She was going to ask what he had said. Letting out a sigh, Jack placed a hand on her shoulders and spoke in a solemn voice. "I said that there's no need to hide what you are. If there is something you want to tell us just go ahead and do so. We won't judge you." You really need to stop digging yourself deeper Jack. Or don't. This could get very amusing, very quickly. |

Matt would stop counting as soon as he heard Lavender's voice. He would stand still for a moment, an ellipses visually appearing in the air next to him thanks to a certain Fae in the area. Ye know, maybe I should take the Occam's Razor approach. Would definitely be easier to walk away, don't have to embarrass meself in front of a bunch of ponces that are younger than me. Then Jack said his bit. If anyone had been able to hear the sound of someone's patience, they would have heard a twanging snap. He would then bend over, pick up his broken phone, and turn towards Jack after he said his bit. The Scottish Homunculus looked completely impassive as he spoke again. "Two." Lilica, in in the meantime, was simply holding down her skirt after the brief gust of wind Lavender had supplied, smiling all the while. This was just a great turn-in already. Incredibly fantastic and spectacular. Seriously, she'd probably make a mountain of favors after this emotional draw-out. Speaking of favors, it seemed a certain werewolf wanted to see if he could get someone to pop a blood vessel. If Lilica's eyes had that soulful spark to them, they would be glimmering with joy right now. And that? That was rarely a good thing where she was regarded, especially when she applied her special brand of logic to it. The Courtless Fae would turn towards Setsuna again after Jack's not so casual whisper in her ear. "Sorry," she would say, her tone happy and cheerful. "It seems he wants me to translate for him. So, here goes! Long story short, he's just trying to figure out if you're a furry, because that's the only way he's ever going to find love. Which I completely agree with, because he really has the personality of a complete loser. If I were you, I'd just ignore his way-too-vague attempts at flirting, and abandon him to the cold, lonely life he deserves~." In Lilica's mind, only the person you were could control your blood pressure, especially if you were one of these uncontrolled characters here in Hyakuji. And Jack hadn't specified whose blood vessel he wanted to pop. So, Lilica put two and two together, and had chosen who to help in that particular goal. Jack would probably regret asking her for help in a few moments, if he didn't already. |

"Oi, you're not thinking of trying to incite a fight or argument are you?" Lavender asked as she turned her attention to Jack when the lycan whispered something about enlisting the help of another girl to try and get someone to pop a blood vessel, and then going on asking if anyone cared that "the pirate" was insulted, while heading over to the unconscious boy (David) to check on him. "So, would anyone mind giving a recap on what just happened? I heard a loud crash like an explosion from the gates, then I arrive here to find an unconscious boy, and a proverbial powder keg waiting to blow," the aeromancer continued, first checking for a pulse and breathing, and conducting a basic stimulus test to see if the young man was responsive. ”I'm getting him to the infirmary, try not to cause any trouble in the meantime; and someone fill me in on what happened just now when I return," Lavender remarked as she picked David up and hung him over her shoulder in a one-armed fireman carry, a vortex building up around her, the telltale wind being a warning sign for one to keep their hands on their skirts. And with a dull boom accompanied by a lavender-colored nova-like burst the aeromancer was gone from the scene... for now. But a question remained; would the students stay out of trouble while Lavender was away? |

"This box is too small for me..."
|
It was awfully weird. Definitely. Setsuna was assured she wasn't instigating any trouble, in fact, she was most assuredly trying to stay out of trouble. She knew she had a slight temper, and thus she did her best to keep it in check. Setsuna wondered if this was how all students in this school were, and figured that she just had to get used to it. Though that wasn't simple, clearly. As Jack continued talking, it would perhaps be rather noticeable to see Setsuna grinning. No eye-twitching, no veins popping out on her forehead. Just a grin, and balled up fists. It was clear the teacher had an understanding there was tension here, but naturally, since that David guy was an idiot, and this werewolf dude knocked the idiot out, she had to go bring him to the infirmary. Which left her with Jack, Lilica and the angry Scotsman. Anyone who knew Setsuna would definitely be sure that this, was not going to end well. As Jack touched her shoulder, Setsuna let out a small chuckle. "Heh." ... Well, shit. This wasn't going to end well. Setsuna lowered her stance for a second, her mind was perhaps blank at that moment. The rest would just be pure unadulterated anger. Though as the Lilica girl spoke in argument against Jack. Setsuna perhaps found enough time to calm down and not punch the the bastard. Nah, she wouldn't punch him... She'd knee him in the crotch though. And that is exactly what she did, grabbing Jack by his sides, she let out a swift and course kick right into his delicate area. Frankly, she wondered if it would just be better to knock him one square in the jaw, but first of all, he's a bit taller than her, and secondly. Punching someone might get her into trouble with the teach... now, kicking him in the nuts for sexual harassment, that sounded like a good argument, didn't it? |

What is this thing?

It was probably the jostling that woke David back up. His head jerked up, while he was still on Lavender's shoulder. Reaching up he tapped the teacher on her shoulder. "Um Sensei. Do you mind bringing me back? I need to apologise properly......and stop my friend from doing something he finds amusing. I'll explain what happened when we get back." A worried frown appeared on David face. He hoped that the whole situation could be resolved amicably. Hah! Like that's going to happen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jack was finding this very amusing. Not only was Matthew getting angrier. But Lilica was adding fuel to the fire that was Setsuna. She was asking if the girl was a furry. Normally Jack would get a little angry at that. But he had asked the girl to interfere. Since Jack had only just arrived, he was the least insulted person here. He was not even close to becoming angry. He turned his head slightly to Lilica, his own eyes sparkling with amusement. "Eh not really. I'm not into flat girls." It was then Setsuna gave Jack a rightly deserved kick in the balls. The author would like to take a moment to join Lilica in feeding on Jack's pain. Oddly enough, Jack didn't react from the kick that much. Rage is a hell of an anaesthetic, and it was flowing off the werewolf in waves. Also his eyes flashing gold and black, along with the sharpening of his teeth probably wasn't a good sign. He glared at Setsuna. "Someone has a poor sense of humour." His voice seemed to have gone up a few octaves. Courtesy of the attack on his jewels. Was he going to attack Setsuna for this? No, he was going to let the girl off with a warning. He locked eyes with the girl. "There are people in this school who are a great deal stronger than me. And a lot less forgiving. Watch yourself." He then faced Matthew. "You're taking quite a long time to count to three. " He gave Matthew a smile. "But I don't think there's any werewolves behind you anymore. He kept up his teasing of Matthew. The lycan had a great deal of anger he wanted to take out on someone. So he figured he would take it out on the person who gave a veiled threat to his friend. "For a supposed 'superior being' you have a poor memory and you're finding it fairly hard to count to three." At this point Jack had dug himself so deep, he's popped out the other side of the planet. Might as well keep going. |

Well, Jack was certainly digging himself a hole. Even someone as blissfully unaware of social niceties as Lilica could see that. In fact, seeing as both the big scarred guy and the other girl were both rather agitated now, it was probably time to leave. After all, she had what she wanted to get, and it wouldn't benefit her any to stay here. So, after a quick sidestep or three, Lilica would retreat further into the building, the Toadies following her. That left only the two trained, super-humanly strong martial artists in the same area as one werewolf who was purposefully antagonizing them for no reason other than the fact he could, after the teacher had left them alone. It didn't take a precognitive to see what was going to happen next. Matt hadn't planned to attack just yet. After all, the right thing to do was to let the scrawny little half-wit realize he was insulting a near-slab of Scottish muscle who was taller than him, and had more than a few scars to show what he had lived through. But then the girl attacked and grabbed hold of him. The homunculus felt a twinge of sympathy pain thanks to the target location, but it quickly passed. Now was the time to act. After all, it wouldn't make sense for the girl to be the only one in trouble, if it came down to it. Besides, it seemed Doge needed a little lesson in manners. So, during the knee to the crotch, Matt would act as well. There hadn't been much distance between him and the werewolf in the first place, and Matt was faster than most humans could hope to be. So, in a blur of motion, the Homunculus was there, the back of his right hand coming in at full force towards Jack's temple. Unless he could somehow wriggle out of Setsuna's current hold upon him, he almost certainly wouldn't be getting away from this hit. What's more, even with his enhanced durability, this hit would hurt. Matt wasn't much compared to the likes of Seth or Kamen Riders, but he was certainly not something you could just shake off either, especially not when he was aiming to hit a location that acted like a virtual off-button for the human body. It was time for this dog to learn manners the same way Matt had: By having them beaten into him. |

With Lilica gone that left an open seat at the table of this poker game for one girl who really enjoyed herself a good hand of cards. One little miss Holly Kavadara the...ahem famous magician, had taken a seat on a backwards sat chair (Where'd she get that from) nearby to the rest of the group flicking cards back and forth between her hands and gazing on in bemusement at all this, for 'advanced' beings they certainly resorted to violence quickly. The magician found herself clad in a dress shirt and tie with a nice vest over it and slacks this good day, despite lacking her over coat she most likely had some tricks up her sleeves...she always did. "Oh Jack always getting yourself in trouble with the wrong crowd." She muttered oddly not loud enough to hear particularly because the noise from what appeared to be Dion's The Wanderer came from the headphones wrapped around the back of her neck. Just as Matt's hand got close to Jack's face the voice of a girl appeared in his head. "You know if you start rampaging around you'll just look more like a monster to all the normal people. All you do and you're still just a monster to them...how sad." The girl's voice echoed in the larger boy's head, even if it didn't produce the desired effect it would still distract him hearing a sudden voice coming from nowhere. Meanwhile a wicked look would appear through the white haired girl's eyes if anyone could see them through the sheen of her glasses. "Unfortunate." She muttered to herself looking over the group in front of her, she could only hope they weren't the savages they appeared to be and weren't going to think it a good idea to all just jump on her at once. Lavender was practically at the doorstep of the infirmary when she felt a sudden tap on her shoulder, coming from the boy she'd picked up - who appeared to have regained consciousness and was asking the aeromancer to return back to where she'd picked him up to stop a friend of his from doing something he finds "amusing", and Lavender didn't quite like what he was implying. "I have every intention to head back anyway; I still want to know who crashed the school gates and knocked you out," the survival studies teacher remarked. "In the meantime, you stay here and let the nurse check on your injury," Lavender commented as she opened the infirmary door, putting David down on a nearby bed and gesturing for the faculty nurse to check on the boy before stepping out of the infirmary, a lavender-colored vortex building up around her - and with another burst of aeromancy-boosted speed the survival studies teacher was back to where she'd left the group of students, returning just in time to see that the situation had degenerated into a brawl. "Oi, knock it off, all of you!" Lavender called out as the short-haired girl delivered a knee strike to the nether regions of the boy who'd earlier been trying to get on the "pirate" boy's nerves, following it up with a hold to keep him restrained, while the pirate-boy joined in the fray, attempting to land a blow on his opponent's temple. "I left for barely a minute, and now this? Aerowhip!" the aeromancer extended her right hand, her vortex concentrating itself around her arm and running down the length of her arm towards her fingertips, before "blooming" out a mass of ribbon-like streams of compressed air, glowing faintly in a hue of lavender and translucent in appearance like a mass of ethereal party streamers. With a hissing noise Lavender's aerowhips would streak towards the brawling group, with a pair of them wrapping tightly around Matt's wrist, while another pair coiled around Setsuna's waist, and the last pair wrapped around Jack's arms - and despite their delicate and ethereal appearance, these ribbon-like streams appeared to have the strength of steel cables, a testament to the survival studies' teacher's mastery over her element. "Look, could you guys please stop?" Lavender asked, in a firm but not too forceful (yet) tone of voice as she walked towards the group, her wind vortex still howling and swirling and kicking up a stiff breeze through the area as she maintained her control over her aerowhips. |

"This box is too small for me..."
|
At the moment her knee hit the boy, she felt a twinge of guilt. She definitely went mad there, what if she actually harmed this boy greatly. She wasn't really in control of her own strength, after all. No matter what he said, to castrate someone wasn't really deserving. Luckily though, the boy was unharmed... and still a giant arse. Setsuna's twinge of guilt faded as fast as it came. This Jack guy was a horrid person, with absolutely no remorse for his words. Clearly he wasn't the kind of person one should hang out with. It did seem though, that this other man, the Scotsman, came in to join the fray. Aiming to knock Jack out. If this was because Jack was being a huge annoyance to him as well wasn't quite sure to her. Though, thankfully, before the situation devolved into an all out fight. They were stopped by the teacher... actually, that was kinda bad, wasn't it? Setsuna calmed herself down, definitely not wishing to get into trouble. Yet she did just kick someone in the balls... arguably he deserved it though. He wasn't only being a disgusting pig, and gravely insulting her. He also seemed to be aiming to piss people off, so in all fairness, this wasn't completely her fault. "I'm sorry, miss. Even though it's my first day, this isn't a great first impression. Really, I just came here to get the paperwork signed and everything, I have no idea how this all happened. Honest." Setsuna said, afterwards. To be fair, she never really aimed to have a fight with anyone. In fact, that was exactly what she was trying to avoid...right? "I do tend to get angry fast, but... this clearly wasn't my fault. This guy not only called me a lesbian, he also insulted my chest size! That's like... sexual harassment or something, no? You can't really expect anyone to not do anything in that situation, yeah." Setsuna argued, probably trying to convince herself, most of all. Really, there was nothing there she could've done to prevent that outburst. Looking Jack over again, she grumbled. "Besides... He looks totally fine, it's not fair." she softly mumbled. Not really aiming to use that part as a piece of the argument. Still, it did say something about this guy's powers... he must also have some sort of empowered body, to be able to withstand that. Sides, she apologized, so that'd be good for something, no? Now, all she needed was someone to vouch for her. |

What is this thing?

It was probably a good thing for Matt that Lavender arrived. Jack had turned his head to the side and his mouth was already halfway transformed and open wide. He was prepared to catch the Scot's fist in his transformed mouth and tear it off. There was no need for him to pull his punches on someone with a strong healing factor. But since Lavender interfered there was no need for violence. So Jack canceled his transformation and instead turned to Setsuna. "I'll apologize to you as soon as you apologize to David." He snarled at the smaller girl. "Tell me. What did he do to you that made you say that the thought of being in a relationship with him disgusts you? Was it his politeness? His offer of friendship? Or the fact that he extended you common courtesy and welcomed you on your first day?" He snorted in disdain at the girl. "I only antagonized you because you insulted my friend. You insulted him when all he was doing was being friendly." He then turned his attention to Matt. "I will admit. Maybe David pointing out that you weren't paying attention wasn't the best move. But the guy isn't exactly used to dealing with people that much. Plus he did offer to buy you a new phone. Most people would just apologize." He narrowed his eyes at the Scot. "I antagonized Groundskeeper Willy here. Because I don't take veiled threats to my friends kindly." He then spoke out again this time addressing Lavender. "I should point out that I was assaulted and another assault was attempted on me." He shrugged. "But I'm happy to pretend it didn't happen." A note of concern made its way into his voice. "How is David anyway?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fortunately for David he was unharmed. In fact he was never unconscious. Just rather dazed. However at the moment he was very flustered. As a rather attractive nurse was currently fretting over him. |

Matt would glare at Jack as his hand was suddenly stopped by a certain lavender-haired teacher's intervention. The idiot had actually began to transform, as if that would have helped him at all. For one, Matt had been aiming for the side of his forehead, which wasn't really anywhere close to being able to land hand-first in a mouth, even if it was wolf-like jaws. Secondly, Matt was more than a bit faster than Jack as well, especially since Jack was still in concealed pain over that little lovetap the other girl had given him. Even if he wasn't doubled over in agony, his reflexes would still be slower because of pain. But that was mostly academic at this point. After all, Lavender was there holding them all back from more violence against each other, and Matt didn't want to pit himself against a teacher at this moment. Besides, she hadn't done anything to wrong Matt at this moment, unlike certain other individuals present. That, and she seemed like the congenial sort on Matt's other occasion of getting into a bit of a tussle with a student. Granted, that one had been a lot less violent then, but the point remained. The Homunculus would remain quiet as the other two spoke, continuing to glare at the werewolf as he did so. If he really wanted to, he probably could freely continue his assault for a moment on Jack, and the other boy wouldn't be able to do much about it thanks to Lavender's own powers. But, again, it was academic by this point. Besides, there was more than one way to skin a werewolf. Especially if they were kind enough to do so much set-up work for you. "Well lass," he would calmly say after the other two finished speaking. "If yer not sure how this happened, I can fill in a few things for ye. 'Ell, I can fill them in for everyone involved, if they so wish. Long story short, I was just walking down the hallway, tryin' to figure out how those damn... Errr... Cellular phone things work. So, while I was staring down at it, the door just suddenly bursts open. Apparently, the guy ye dragged off to the medical facilities decided to show off some, and used his wind powers to forcefully open things up. So, I wind up bein' hit in the face by the door, and breakin' me phone. "So, when I take issue with this particular action on his part, he tries to turn it around and say it's entirely me fault! Well, I know when someone's an idiot that's not worth dealin' with, so I decided to just turn around and leave." He'd point to Jack with his non-restrained hand at that point. "Then this ponce shows up. He picks up his 'friend', goes on about how he's a good person that lassie there should be interested in, and then throws him at me back. So, needless to say, I'm getting rather aggravated at this point, as I imagine any right-minded individual would be. Then.... Well, that's the first time he implies that the lass there is a homosexual or the like. Call me old-fashioned, or antiquated, or whatever ye wish, but I decided at that point that this idiot should know that there are some things ye just don't do. So, I gave him a warning, which ye so happened to show up for. "Despite me own warnings, though, he continued to provoke her. What's more, he decided that it would be best to start antagonizing me as well. Decided to mock me disability, to insult me intelligence simply because I'm trying to give him a good chance to not get his shit kicked in by someone like me. And then she decides to go in for an attack on him. At that point, I decide that if she's insulted enough to attack him, I may as well be as well. And that's about that." |

a new face was seen entering the campus, His hair color was dirty-brown with a ring of blonde hair, the student was dressed in the default male student uniform and was around 1 meter and 80 centimeters. the new student was munching on an apple taking atleast 1/7th of the apple in one bite, However the new student was not walking and did not come by a car but he was somehow floating in the air around 5 centimeters above the ground very likely surprising some students, He simply greeted everyone by saying "Hi" to most of the people he saw but a student catched his interest, a girl two years younger then he most likely, the girl had short brown hair, attempting to be somewhat nice and as he saw all the commotion around her and a few other students he decided to go and greet hair saying "Hi, ehh What's all this commotion about?" he said with a relaxed tone and quite the calm voice.

"Alright, let's hear it from each and every one of you," Lavender remarked as she relinquished her control over the aerowhips, letting go of the students as they spoke their piece; starting first with the girl, who explained how on her first day at Hyakuji High she'd gotten insulted by the wolf-boy, calling her a lesbian and making fun of her bust size. At least she sounded contrite over flying off the handle a bit too easily, so that was a good thing. Still, the aeromancer couldn't help but look at the younger girl with a sympathetic expression. Then next to speak was the wolf-boy, who despite calling off any hostility for the time being still remained somewhat antagonistic, his demand that the girl apologize to David - whom Lavender presumed to be the guy who she just brought over to the infirmary before he apologized to her, claiming that he was only antagonistic towards her due to her being antagonistic towards his friend. Last but not least, the tall schoolboy who the wolf-boy nicknamed as the pirate spoke, giving Lavender a run-down of the events leading up to their brawl, starting with how he broke his phone thanks to David opening the doors a tad too forcefully, and apparently calling it all the pirate-boy's fault. "So that's how it turned out..." Lavender remarked as Matt spoke his part, the aeromancer nodding slowly. "I can't say I advise people to walk around with their attention divided thanks to a screen held in their hands, but blatant disrespect of school property and irresponsible usage of powers is a bigger issue at hand," Lavender continued, sighing slightly. "But at least I see that things more or less can be traced to a particular trigger event," the aeromancer mused, giving Matt a nod. "I understand you all had your reasons to be peeved, but remember that calmness is a virtue of the strong," Lavender's tone softened considerably from her previously stern tone of voice as she looked at the students not sternly or angrily, but rather with an expression that appeared hopeful, as if believing that they could probably do a better job at reining in their tempers if they tried. "I know you all can do better than this, at knowing that part of being the better man is to not get ruffled by petty provocations," the aeromancer smiled, nodding at the group. "Alright, seeing how this is everyone's first offense, I will be giving you a verbal warning not to get into a fight again - two wrongs do not make a right, afterall; I hope that when I see you all again, you'll at least all be getting along more amicably," Lavender concluded, clapping her hands twice gently before walking off, before smiling gently at the sight of a blonde boy approaching the group, his feet curiously floating above the ground. "Just your usual argument that almost ended in a fight," Lavender replied to the new boy's question, before realizing she'd never seen his face on the student roster. "If you're new to Hyakuji High, let it be known that I am Lavender Smith, one of the homeroom teachers, as well survival studies teacher, do you have any questions about the campus?" the aeromancer asked in a friendly voice. Meanwhile at the infirmary, David would find himself being grilled with questions courtesy of the school nurse, trying to find out where the wind mage might be hurting, and to determine if the boy would be in need of any medical attention. |

As Thordur Lowered the force of his vectors and landed gracefully to walk he replied to the young lady that he guessed is probably in her early twenties "Ehrm, yes i'm quite new and i just started today so yeah, not much to say there other then pleased to meet you Lavander sensei." Thordur said as he bowed in respect attempting to make a good first impression. Depending on the reply of the homeroom teacher and if she would walk away after greeting him he would either walk to matthew or Thordur would simply keep talking to the homeroom teacher and letting her know for examble that he's attending the Survivial studies classes and that he's looking forward to having her as his teacher. |
