The sun was rising on fair Hyakuji. A day that hoped to be better for it's citizens. After the chaos that was unleashed only 2 days ago, people were on edge, careful. Some even weren't able to sleep properly. But at the moment, everything was calm and peaceful. Light dew on the grass in the park, some birds chirping here and there. Perhaps this day would be better? *CRAC-CRAAAAASH* Nonsense, to be sure. A loud burst of energy, an explosion, came from the park. Then another. And another. And another. The handful of people in the park so early were scattering away rapidly, screaming, panicking for their lives. It seemed things were happening again, and so quickly...So early! Damon sat at the base of the fountain, entirely bored, flicking off small, almost baseball sized spheres, causing needless destruction to the area. It seemed to be like last time: Smaller scale devastation, which might very well escalate in no time flat. There was no way he was alone here either, but...what was the game this time? |

"ONORE, DAMON!" A high pitched girly voice angrily yelled at Damon even as he remained seated on the fountain. "Causing such destruction... such chaos... and in the beginning of the day no less..." Aisia Asakura strode towards him while dragging a giant missile launcher of sorts, the same MRLS unit that was found on the GP02's secondary loadout. It seemed that she favored the use of that particular Gundam's armaments when it came to widescale destruction. But wasn't she in league with Damon? Why was she angry at him? "How dare you start without me. That's really rude, you know~" she chuckled. She quietly propped the MRLS rockets on the ground and with a tug on a string, she launched all six missiles and sent them to the air before sending them crashing back down to the ground. They thankfully had a lot less kick than the usual GP02 Atomic Bazooka, but they could still deal a lot of damage nonetheless. Especially six of them. "Hey, you think they've learned by now? Or are they still going to rush in blindly against us like last time?" she chuckled. |

Beware The Penguin Emperor
|
Familiar screams of people in danger called for the bluenette to spring into action. He ran towards the screams turning into his bit hero mode, his whole body turned into an 8 bit but somehow 3d rendition of itself. As it did. His speed saw a drastic increase, heftily outrunning the fastest land machines, and was more than enough to reach the danger zone right as the missiles came crashing down. Instantly, the boy would jump high into the sky, making a large floating platform of green pixels floating up in the air to receive the impact from the explosives, hopefully, detonating them before they reached land. Afterwards, he created a large group of pixel letters standing vertically in the air. The letters were made in red pixels, and they stated a very clear message. "Two terrorists here". The boy hoped that with that, it would be easier for those capable to come closer and start aiding in the protection of the park. Hopefully in an attempt that wouldn't result as terribly executed as the one before. Kaizo had created what he felt as a plan, at least part of it, inside his head. He figured that if he focused on at the very least three objectives, there would be something he could do. The objectives in question being 1. Recruit people to fight 2. After that's done, evacuate civillains 3. Contain or Eliminate the threat if possible. As much as his current speed would have allowed him to allow a few people to escape, he felt that accidentally evacuating potentially helpful people could end up backfiring spectacularly. Gritting his teeth was the only thing he could do upon being faced with the responsibility of a group of people, but in the end, there was limited time to act, and none to doubt. Kaizo stood in front of the terrorists in question, knowing that it was fairly likely that he would have been spotted anyhow, and figuring that it would be better for him to be the target of the terrorist's attention anyhow. “Hm… this could be harder than I thought.” One of the first things one would have to do, when attempting to start a production, is to decide on a location. A public location like the park should, in theory, get the most attention, so he wouldn’t have have to advertise so much. However, the tricky part would be where to place the stage. After weeks of looking up blueprints for a simple stage, he finally found one that he’d be able to create with his powers. However, the hard part is in finding the perfect place to put it without getting in the way of anything. Obviously, he’d have to build the entire thing at night, so that nobody would see him do it. But where? WAIT! The perfect place! Right by- *CRAC-CRAAAAASH* “Oh COME ON!” Apparently Kazuya has been in this city for long enough to be infected with the city’s madness, given that his only response to an explosion is annoyance that he lost his train of thought. Upon the sight of the small girl with the massive… thing, Kazuya figures that the best thing to do would be to run off somewhere, and change out of his normal clothing, and into his… “other outfit”. All any witness would see is a young man fleeing from the scene of an explosion, likely out of fear. |

"Should've expected them to attack so quickly." Gaius muttered running towards the source of destruction. In his time at The Court he had been trained to never underestimate the enemy, he had done that previously at Doki Doki so he couldn't do that again. That would be disgraceful to his own training and what he trained others in. This time around he'd have to be a lot more careful, thankfully though he had backup and the knowledge that he had to prepare for this. They had assumed that the park was more then likely a prime target all things considered and it seemed like they had been right. While they still didn't have a solid plan for dealing with them or even knowledge of why they were there, they could at least try to deal with the catastrophe. Noticing the missiles mid flight Gaius stopped running for a quick second, a moment later he manipulated the earth, several chunks would make there way towards intercepting the missiles in an attempt to contain the damage. First thing was first, they had to try and get all extra civilians out of there. He couldn't really help with that but what Gaius could do was try to block as many of the enemy attacks as he could, letting other people get the civilians out. "It's her again." Gaius gritted his teeth, it seemed like they had one of the opponent's that they fought at Doki Doki and one of the opponents who was apparently at the mall. "This is going to be tough." Gaius would have to play defensively for now otherwise it would be a reenactment of both of the previous meetings between the opponents. |

Hugh Carter, a boy who was a Kamen Rider secretly, was walking down a sidewalk. He heard explosions near by, and saw a few people run past him. It was coming for the park. He took out his Diend Driver, thinking over a past conversation. "If you can't help publicly, don't. Vigilante types that constantly sidestep the law are not uncommon here. Besides, there's more than one way to atone for what one does." The boy had said. "Sorry, Kaizo Gene..guess I'll be breaking that promise from now on..luckily, I took back the stuff I "took" and left my calling card, so "DiEnd" the Phantom Thief" should be going away now." There was a grim look on the boys face. Somehow, he knew he'd regret this. Close to the park, he saw a person sitting at the fountain. Presumably the one causing all of the destruction. He approached the man. He took a step back in horror, realizing who it was. "But you're..Damon Ark..I've heard of you.." Hugh said, eyes widened with shock. Hold on a second, he had heard that..no. Were the things he heard true, about the Majikku Mall?! but..why? He pointed the Diend Driver at him, it being hidden behind his back."Why the hell are you destroying this place?! out of some misplaced sense that we should care about living up to your expectations?! that's ridiculous! grow up! what about these people?! BASTARD!!" Hugh growled. Someone he didn't recognize approached, seemingly annoyed about..something at first. And then..what the FUCK, a missile launcher?! why was the government letting them do this?! the missiles fired all into the air, and came crashing down, landing in different places. "STOP!! STOP IT!!" Hugh demanded. He had to think of something, quickly. "I am..A KAMEN RIDER!!" Hugh exclaimed for all to hear. "So...FIGHT ME INSTEAD!!" Hugh roared out. ![]() He opened up the compartment on the gun, and slid a card into the compartment. KAMEN RIDE: BWOOM BWOOM BWOOM BWOOM Hugh pointed the gun up into the sky. "Henshin!!" Hugh yelled out, and pulled the trigger. The compartment closed. DIEND Hugh's transformation completed after a moment. ![]() "Now then..shall we begin?" Hugh asked, then fired on both of them. |

"They have actual professionals deployed against us this time too you know, don't underestimate them. Well, it's not easy mobilising on such short notice so there won't be many of them, but I'd hate to have to say you got smashed by a barely prepared response team you know." Speaking over a secure link, the last of the set wasn't physically present just yet. There wasn't a need to make a reveal when it could be helped, and this just allowed them to do a little more unimpeded, even if it left them a little short in the battle. As the old saw went, amateurs studied tactics. Professionals studied logistics. "Anyway, let's see what happens when their command and control goes south... it's nice to have access to their commline. Don't think anyone's ever done this to them before. Should be fun seeing how they handle it, don't you think?" Aboard one of BOARD's Emergency Response Vehicles The heavy, black-painted vehicles raced down the city's streets. Armoured and looking more like military vehicles than a police team, BOARD's charter was to deal with physical, non-military threats that the local government could not handle by itself, upon request by proper local authorities. Treated as a private security company, it was in a sense a sense, it was abit like a defensive layer just shy of requesting a response from the Self-Defence Forces, whose use was decided unpalatable if it could be helped. However, though it once boasted of a force of a dozen Riders at it's beck and call, the expense of maintaining such expensive support infrastructure for them and their gear forced the development of cheaper, mass production alternatives. The success of the Riotrooper gear, the originals based loosely on the FAIZ system, allowed many of the riders to quietly retire or go elsewhere. The relative peace and improvement of the police force eventually made most of them redundant as well, and the bulk were put on standby reserve in order to reduce operating costs, with the option to reactivate them as needed. Though only a small number of them were available due to the short notice of 2 mere days, A dozen such troopers were aboard each response vehicle, racing to the scene of the explosion. As the convoy made their way to the disaster area, the radio link of the lead vehicle came to life, with an urgent message from what seemed to be one of the dispatchers "Response team four, this is central dispatch, scratch current routeplan, there's a jam halfway through due to civilian panic and it'll block the equipment, re-route on the new path we're sending through now." "Team four. Dispatch, this routing will take nearly twice as long, and we can help clear the jam and get people out of there." the response force's commander protested His display showed an almost round-about route getting to the park, doubling the intended response time of just under 8 minutes to an estimated 15, even if it did go through a long stretch of straight roadway that'd let them go all out on the engines. "Negative, leave the jam to the police, it's what they're for. They need your firepower at the front trooper. Police there are massively outgunned." the dispatcher insisted "...Yes sir, Team Four acknowledges reroute. Moving now." |

"That was sooner than I expected." Shin murmured. He heard the explosions and saw the message in the sky. Since he was finally done with his preparations, he responded to the call to arms. But he wasn't done. Seeing that they now had a Kamen Rider of their own, Shin made his way to the allied Rider's side. Shin summoned his blade and joined the fight. He didn't rush in recklessly, but joined the allied Kamen Rider on the ranged front. Picking up a nearby park bench with his tendrils. Shin fired it straight towards Aisia. Followed by several more benches and slabs of broken pavement and earth. No sign of their sniper yet. They didn't even know if she was present. Shin felt the flare gun press against his side. If the sniper revealed herself, he would light the flare and give Eva an idea of where the sniper was. Making one final move Shin accessed his communicator that he managed to convince Jason to give him. "Attention NPG. We have two sightings in Izanai Park. Damon and Aisia, no sign of our sniper, over. Emmet was happy he'd finally gotten some rest. He'd adjourned himself from his brief talk with the detective, fearing the prospect of somehow becoming less coherent as the night wore on. He'd managed to dodge any real trouble, but he had still been feeling a bit hollow. His little investigation had turned up almost nothing. He'd combed over his recordings, searching for something, anything, he might have missed. Nothing turned up. He'd started stressing himself out over it, he couldn't help in any meaningful way without information. His schoolmates had a far better understanding of the situation as he could see it. He'd been twitchy and aggravated for most of the day. He couldn't stand been so high-strung, he couldn't think straight. He'd decided to come out to the park, relax a little. Clear his head, think the problem through calmly and rationally. Tomorrow, he would try and check out that weird amusement park. Then, maybe he could see if his classmates would be willing to pool their information and make up a plan. The explosions had very quickly interrupted his thoughts, and it wasn't long until the police arrived. He panicked for a bit, joined the groups of panicking people attempting to flee. He still wasn't fully used to these high-stress situations, and the attackers didn't really seem in the mood to talk. In the middle of a crowd, he reconsidered his course of action. 'Oh god, oh god, oh god...Okay, okay, be caaalllm, be rattiooonall...' Taking several deep breaths, Emmet shook his head. 'Alright, okay, what am I doing....the police, they're going have their hands full just defending and evacuating people, right? Alright, I guess I could uh...help with that?' He struggled back through the crowd, making his way towards the park to help with the defense, noting several worrying explosions as he went. Breaking through the masses, briefly losing his balance and stumbling, Emmet rushed away from the immediate line-of-sight of the attackers, as well as putting some distance between them. He noticed several others on the opposite side of the fountain from him. They appeared to be fighting the attackers...some of them, anyway. He briefly began to panic once more. They looked tough, they could handle this without him, surely he didn't need to put himself in danger like this. He was just going to screw up anyway! He shook his head, dismissing those thoughts once more. He could help, he knew he could! Deciding that he still would attempt to keep his commitment to the defense, Emmet began to stretch his left arm, out towards the female with the extremely imposing rocket launcher. He hoped to disarm her, limiting potential damage dealt. Edited by Pyronion, Aug 16 2014, 02:59 AM.

What is this thing?
|
Jaret was rather angry. This can be taken as a rather bad thing. The park, his favourite place in the city was currently under attack. Thankfully many of the students had rushed to the parks defence. And the civilians were already on their way out of the danger zone. When he saw the signal in the sky, he acted immediately. Shifting into his true form, he made it to the park in a matter of minutes. His powerful legs helping him leap around the environment and avoid ground traffic. It seemed that the students had some form of plan. Jaret had no intention of disrupting it. He instead joined the students in the attack against the the veterans. With another leap he landed next to the Kamen Rider and Demon hunter. He then launched a stream of Hellfire right at Damon. Joining his assault with the others, forcing the shadowmancer to dodge or block. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Well Shit." A certain werewolf muttered under his breath. Things started up again much sooner than he would have liked. He was currently clad in the "PIMPTASTIC" purple and gold uniform of the NPG's second in command. Letting out another curse. Jack strode up to the trio attacking the pair at the fountain. Cool as a cucumber, despite the chaos. "Stop your attacks let me try something." He took a deep breath. He waited until the veterans had dealt with the attacks. "DAMON ARK!" He roared to get attention. "Before at the mall, you said that you wanted to destroy this city because it made people too battle hungry." He cast his arms wide. "Your whole plan is flawed. Destroying Hyakuji will only scatter a bunch of supposedly battle-hungry and destructive teens to the wind. Instead of keeping them in one place where they can be contained, taught, directed and controlled." "You plan to give them no place where they are freely accepted without prejudice and send them back to their homes, where a few of them are hated and feared because of their powers. That would only encourage their destructive tendencies and cause even more problems in the future. That's not even starting on the fact that there would no longer be a large group of hyper-idealistic/hot-blooded teens to fight off whatever madman decides to destroy the world every few weeks." He took a breath, that rant took a lot out of him. He locked eyes with Damon and asked him the same question that had stopped many a mad scientist/sorcerer and world conqueror. "Even if you succeed. Then what? He raised an eyebrow. "Move onto the next school of superteens? Or do you really think that the Japanese government will let you continue with this? It would not surprise me if they had a million plans prepared in the case that some of the people from this city went rogue." He shrugged. "I heard that the church also sent some psycho to the park. I can imagine that the Vatican is chomping at the bit for a chance to wage a holy war against meta-humans and this will only give them the reason to do so." If it was future conflict that Damon and the other Veterans hoped to prevent. Perhaps the implication that their plan will only cause more in the future will be enough to give them pause. His voice grew until he was now shouting at Damon. "Destroying Hyakuji is a short-term solution to a long-term problem. You'll only cause more problems in the future!! Far more than a few supposedly battle-hungry teenagers would. And lets face it. It's mostly hormones and teen rebellion that causes us to be a bit crazy." He lowered his voice again. "So please stop this madness before more lives are lost. We can find a better solution. There is always a better way." He extended a hand as an offer of peace. "I was told by Seth that you are one of the nicest people in this city. So I ask you, no I beg you. Stop this. Is this the lesson that you want to show the world? That violence can only be met with violence? He let that last part hang in the air for a moment. Perhaps pointing out the hypocrisy of the veteran's plan will give them another push in the right direction."Please take my hand and stop this chaos. If you continue you'll only be proving your own point; That you think that violence is the best solution when others are available. That instead of talking through the problem you're just as battle-hungry as the rest of us supposedly are." Hopefully Jack's speech would reach Damon. If it did, wonderful. Back to Jason's and party until dawn. If not..... well there were other plans. He felt his communicator against his ear. It was primed and ready to send a signal to his team mates to initiate their own attack. "Come on!" Jack thought desperately. "Fight off whatever mind-juju you're under and come back to us." Seeing the police rushing towards the explosion site Raku followed after. He got a call on his communicator that there were two more attacks at the park and the hospital. He chose the park. He got a call from shin that Damon and Aisia were attacking, but no sniper."I read you loud and clear Shin I'll be there in a flash,"says as he hung up the communicator. He ran down to the park in his uniform, mask and goggles. Seeing the cops around the park he simply ran pass them. He ran around in the park until he found Shin."Shin I'm here where is the rest of the team,"asks as he looks around the area. |

Another attack like the one Ralius had borne witness to at the mall was inevitably coming. He didn't expect, however, that it would come so soon. The sounds of explosions and the sight of rushing security forces was already an easy tip-off that round two was about to go down. By the time the call came across his communicator headset indicating that Damon Aisia were assaulting the park, Ralius was already on his way toward the source of the explosions, AMD device strapped onto his arm and his legs pedaling furiously on his bike as he made a quick dash for the park. Damon again... He was one of the guys at the mall, and he had no trouble holding us all off. Whatever's going down, fighting is going to be a futile option. Arriving at the park, Ralius quickly surveyed the situation and grimaced at the carnage that had already been unleashed. Rushing in past the security perimeter, he arrived just in time to catch Jack's impassioned plea to Damon imploring him to change his mind. He left his AMD bow undeployed, and took a stand a little ways back from Jack, offering a nod of agreement to his sentiments and waiting on Damon's reaction. |

Meiakki was sound asleep at her dorm hugging her teddy bear when she was woken by the headset that she had put on her teddy's head started going off "Hmmm what's going on" she said rubbing her eyes she put one of the headphones to her ear in time to hear the "Park. Damon and Aisia, no sign of our sniper, over." come through the communicator. "Aww man they're attacking this early why god dabbit, evil never sleeps" she jumped up and changed out her pajamas into her uniform and turning into her kitten form she jumped out the window of her dorm and made her way to the park as fast as she could. if she had any doubt on which park it was the huge sign in the sky was a clear give away. |

"OH GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE!" "That reaction is how I KNOW I did a good job!"
|
Ian tended to sleep outdoors. On one hand, he just really liked being outside more than being inside. His dorm was too small for all his junk and himself, so he rolled with it and liked being outside anyway. Decent enough. The problem was it made him look like a hobo. The bigger, more pressing problem, was that he was woken up at five in the godforsaken morning. By explosions and whatever the hell was going on.Not the best of alarm clocks ever. Despite his subdued and completely rational reaction to Damon previously, he was taking a while to realize what in the heck was happening. Stuff blowing up and... Well, Ian liked the stuff blowing up part, sure. What was all this speech class stuff too?! "Is this like...eh, business as usual for Hyakuji. Oh, this is the Speech class, yeah, things are blowing up and maybe dying and there's other junk because that's how things work in thi-..." Damon was spotted. "Well, could be worse~♥!" Ian completely ignored everyone else present, as he approached from about 50 meters away. He did not care about them. Wait CRAP! They were giving speeches, he'd intended on that! He'd written up a rough draft of what he was going to challenge Damon with the day before, but hadn't had any revision time! Those...those jerks, they'd stolen his speech chance! "You bunch of rotting....SNACK PACKS!" His jaw clenched so hard he chipped several teeth out, which regrew in short order, eyes slightly bloodshot from lack of good rest rather than him expanding his blood flow as usual. There was violence and stuff blowing up, a squadron of baffled he-didn't-cares, and most importantly, Damon, and...annd.. "It's 5 in the mooo-hoor-hoorrniiiing...come ON, why?" Okay, yes, Ian could just kick his brain into gear and force himself awake, which he'd already been doing, but it wasn't enjoyable nor was it comparable to being rested. Then he passed by a few people who WOULD NOT SHUT UP, strolling along towards Damon without any slight regard for whatever else was happening. Even if something hit him, quite possibly shrapnel, he wasn't inclined to pay attention. Ian was notorious for being an enthusiastically screaming maniac, so this was quite the role reversal for him to be apathetic-seeming and just mildly irate. Given things were happening dangerously on the scale of seconds rather than the five-plus minutes it'd take for some of these idiots to finish, Ian just decided, ultimately, that getting things done took priority over theatrics, and he hated having to make that sacrifice. Right about then was when he trudged by someone who was in their own little world, staring Damon down and yet oblivious to how long-winded they were being. "God DAMN, what is wrong with you?!" Ian, with 'parallel processing' of several secondary brains, was apt at multitasking. He actually half-assedly extended a claw from his middle finger and lazily waved it at wolf-guy while passing by, not even looking at Jack while he did so. It wasn't in any danger of hitting the guy, but Ian really didn't care. Ian was cranky, there was no better way to put it. As opposed to the norm, Ian's gleeful antics and complete assholeishness, which were much worse than just being talky. He was a prick, and actively reveled in it, and wanted people to think he was nothing but a troll in both physical and interpersonal senses of the word. It was a testament to Ian's...Ian-ness that his contribution to the situation involved not caring at all about the rampant destruction going on, had already attacked someone on Hyakuji's side, and was now groggily greeting Damon with a lazy wave and grouchy half-apathy. "Hi Damon. Remember me? Freaky dude on spider night? Uh..." Ian's skin suddenly shifted grey, only on his face though, and he extended (hollow) claws from his fingertips, then made the face that, if nothing else, Damon probably remembered uncomfortably accurately: ![]() "Y͈̟͎͡o̖u̻̦̜͓ͅr ͕͈͇͉b͎̥̣͕̫̮͓͞i̸͓̖͈̣͕͈̰gg̷̥̼̙̘e̛͙̫̫͕̻͔s̻̝̥̭͈̻̰t̢̯̺͖̤̻͈ ̶͉̗̪̖̪f̶an̥̠̭~͕̤͇̞̦̠♥̱̝̖͓̠͎?̵̟̝̳̜͔̣̞" To Ian's credit, that WAS the kind of thing one didn't easily forget. Despite wanting to, probably! At the same time he did that, though, another face grew out of his shoulder, and he began snarking (in a much higher pitch due to a far smaller voice box being allotted) at the others nearby. Really, Ian seemed to be just such an asshole that he considered casually siding with the people attacking the city over the students, and then insulting them no less, a valid way to start an early day. And now he pointed one of his clawed hands (the claws only decorative/hollow at this point, as Ian was being stingy with his limited biomass) at the other students. "You people probably care about civilians, I really REALLY don't, just sayin'. I think I see some old lady with a Yorkie in the stuff-blowing-up-shrapnel range." He then pointed his clawed index finger, and indeed, halfway across the park an elderly nun was desperately trying to shoo her Scottish Terrier (Ian was wrong) away. She was too old to escape this danger on foot, but did not want her dog to die with her.
The old nun was not the only civilian. This was Hyakuji's park, and Hyakuji had its abundant share of eccentrics and other folks who'd be out at 5 am. Not all of them could get away, probably, it was after all unreasonable to think that everyone would be of active fitness. With all the blasts and danger, and virtual guarantee of more to come, there could be some innocent blood if things didn't work out. There was an otherwise healthy adult man who had a crutch and, based on the dropped shopping bag nearby, had attended some sort of early-morning store event. He was not going to be quick. And of course, the unthanked blue-collar workers who were either ending night shifts or starting morning shifts at their jobs. Reactions varied, many were escaping, but a few seemed resigned to this. The news that the city's heroes had betrayed them brought some of the more depression-prone people reason enough to sadly lose hope in their lives and home. "Wanna be heroes? Go do hero things, I sure ain't. Quit wasting time." This was, Ian mused momentarily, 3 for 3 in terms of big badstuffs he'd opposed Hyakuji's students in regard to. He always WAS a problem kid! Considering that he'd mocked the others present with the presence of civilians in danger, and clearly wouldn't have given a crap at all that they were there if they didn't serve to make messing with those present possible. That, or he had some other agenda. Ian regarded this as being helpful, and to be fair, there were indeed legitimate concerns he addressed. It was just framed in an incredibly offensive, hostile way. |

Yuki ran to the park having heard the explosions and screaming from where she was buying a video game it was a very popular game that had just came out so she had camped outside the game shop to get a copy as soon as the store open when she heard all the commotion from the park. "Finally we get to see some Action!!" yelled Shimei a eager to fight demonic voice in Yuki's head. "We gotta protect the civialians and get them out of here" said Kaboto a caring angel voice in Yuki's head. "We'll do both but first we attack i was so bored waiting for that store to open i need to release some stream" said Yuki talking to herself as she ran to the middle of the park where Damon and Aisia were holding five poker cards which were glowing purple. "Your going down!!" yelled Yuki as she threw all the cards at Damon and Aisia creating small explosions on impact rather that impact was with them or with something else. |
