By American terms, his name was Yuji Tenma. In Japanese proper, it was Tenma Yuji. Either way, this black haired boy was not average, not by any sense of the word. He one hundred percent believed that he was Oda Nobunaga.

There was not a single thing on Earth that could dissuade this boy from this truth. First, his father had his DNA checked to see if he was related to Oda, which he was not. He had Yuji go to a psychiatrist who quit his job right after, completely unable to root down the cause of this change and gave him a clean bill of health on his way out.

And in complete desperation, he went to a hypnotist who was unable to convince Yuji he "wasn't Oda". No man or woman could persuade him otherwise whatsoever. And the reason was obvious: he was Oda! and he would prove the naysayers wrong one day.

But for now, the boy who was Oda sat out in the sun. Today was a beautiful day to bring your tea leaves in your favorite containers, with your favorite China and just enjoy the peace and quiet out in nature. During his days in the Sengoku period he had realized he had never really found his favorite tea to drink, he had really been focused on collecting containers.

That bothered him, so it was time to "revisit" tea drinking and find his favorite. What he was drinking was pretty basic and, "mainstream" as far as tea drinking went, green herbal. He took a sip, enjoying the peace and quiet, and then spoke aloud to himself.

"Ah, it's quite pleasant out today. It is a shame I cannot invite my companions to this. So long ago.....what's done is done I suppose, dwelling on the past is fruitless." He decided, instantly perishing those thoughts. He would simply make new companions, and get a good education along the way.

Speaking of education, laying on the picnic blanket nearby him was a book on ancient history of Japan, which was open. He rose an eyebrow questioning his reason for coming to school for a moment.

Surely those were the only reasons, right? right? he thought about it for several moments, not taking another sip of the tea until he came to a logical conclusion. "Of course not, but those are my reasons for being here. Oh, father. If only you understood such efforts were and are still fruitless. Still, I must admire such dedication.." He said in smug amusement, finally taking another sip of his tea.

Unbeknownst to the feudal lord, a terror unlike any known to mankind lurked in his future. Surely if he had the gift of foresight, he would see what was coming, and dread its very existence within this world! But, seeing as he couldn't see the future, all the warning he would get was seeing what appeared to be a miniature orange-haired girl, wearing a conservative 20s-era swimsuit, paddling around in his tea. She would look at his approaching mouth, let out a tiny screech, and then disappear.

It was at that moment he would feel a tap on his shoulder behind him. "Excuse me, but can't you let someone take a swim?" If the boy turned around, he would find himself confronted by the very same girl who had just been in his cup. Granted, this one was life-sized rather than miniature, but she looked identical in every other way. ... And somewhat creepy in a way that you couldn't really put a finger on. "I mean, rude much?"

He turned around, unfortunately being too in thought to notice her before. He looked her up and down, then considered what she said for a moment. Both of his eyebrows rose at that moment. For several moments he found himself at a loss, and struggled to find the proper response, but finally found it.

Starting off, to spite her he took a sip of the tea. His eyes on her the entire time, he savored every last bit. Topping it off with an "ah" at the end. Something unlike royalty to do, especially, as he deduced that she was swimming in his tea somehow only a moment ago, but it was apart of his plan.

"Forgive me for being one with sense here, however..you did not make yourself known to me. If one has such a strange desire to take a swim in a warlord's drink, I question your bathing habits. Not to mention the fact, that you are a mere stranger to me. I would not allow you to wash my clothes or shine my shoes, let alone swim in my tea." He said, taking another sip calmly.

"It's just that simple." he added smugly. "However, despite your..odd behavior, I am in a good mood today, so be grateful that I am forgiving you." He said in a superior tone.

"Sit. And name yourself. There is no sense in just standing there, gawking at me." He demanded.

Lilica would smile at the boy's reaction. Wow. This guy was a real stoic! He actually continued to drink his tea after seeing a girl swimming in it! It was going to take some work to get an extreme emotional response from this one, that much was certain! But it's always nice to have a challenge!

"Fine, if you insist, I'll sit down with you dearie~" she would respond to him, her tone playful. "But it would be undignified to have tea with someone I barely know while I'm just in a swimsuit, now wouldn't it? Guess I'll have to change!"

... Wait, change where? There wasn't any modest place to change out of sight of others anywhere near here!!! The Fae would reach up to the two straps on top of her suit, and begin to bring them down. Apparently she was just going to strip right here in the open! Where was this girl's modesty?!

This time, Yuji's eyes rose in shock. And he blushed immensely. "Have you no shame?! at least change behind a folding screen!! and what of your clothes?! I see no pair for you to change into lying around?! tell me, were you hiding that in my tea as well?!" He pointed out.

For someone who was Oda Nobunaga, it was like he had never seen a woman before. I wonder why that is. He tried to calm himself, and took a deep breath.

"Very well then. If that is what you wish, I will not stop you. I have the advantage. If the local law enforcement comes around, I can claim I do not know you, since I do not even know your name, or you mine." He pointed out also.

"I have the advantage. Do not trifle with the Demon King, girl. I will hang you up and leave out to dry, you cannot compete with Oda!!" He boasted loudly, then calmly took a sip of his tea. "So, go on then. I had a wife once, you know." He said, still blushing a bit.

The Fae girl would continue on with the removal of her swimsuit, smirking at the other boy's sudden blushing. She would go slowly at first, as if she was teasing him. And then, just as the faintest hint of cleavage was exposed, she would quickly rip off the rest of the swimsuit, revealing....

A perfectly normal Hyakuji uniform. Somehow, she had taken off clothes, and wound up with more clothes on. Clearly logic and sanity were taking the day off as far as this girl was concerned. After that little performance, she would sit down, still smiling. "There. Now I'm properly dressed. Shall we~?"

"..Huh?" He only stared at the girl for a moment. Really, what was wrong with her? how could she have clothes under her swimsuit? he rubbed his forehead, starting to get a bit of a headache. He reached over, Grabbing a teacup and tiny plate and sat it down in front of her.

He picked up his kettle, pouring some into the cup, then sat it down. "My given name is Yuji, and my family name is Tenma. But I would much prefer if you called me Oda-san, or "Lord Nobunaga". Yuji said, before taking a sip of his tea.

"What's your name? and who are you, exactly?" He asked, sitting his tea down. He figured now was finally the time to get some answers.

Lilica would smirk at the other boy as he had his momentary bout of confusion. That particular had such a nice flavor to it, though admittedly it was best used as a garnish. It was no small wonder that her harvests sold so well. After all, she took special care to make sure that there was a generous helping of confusion in her wares. Still, she didn't feel there was quite enough yet, so it was time to pump that particular cash cow just a tad bit more.

So, after he finished pouring her tea, she would purse her lips some, and tapped thoughtfully on the side of her face. "Hmmm...." she would say before picking up her teacup and taking a sip. "Ah, names. Interesting thing, really. You're actually the first person here to ask me my name, believe it or not. Well, ask me this early into the relationship~" She would wink at him, sticking her tongue out slightly as she did so. She waited until he was taking another drink of tea to say the next bit. "Buuuut I suppose that's good for you, seeing as how we're betrothed now. By the way, I think I'll go for non-standard colors for my wedding dress. Think orange will be nice?" Welp. The Demon King probably hadn't been expecting something like that!

Yuji, listening to her took another sip of his tea. He almost choked on his tea as he heard what she said next. Marriage?! what the heck?! it was like this girl had one weird surprise after another, like some magician who didn't use magic tricks, or an awkward birthday part where people who didn't know you got you random gifts just because they had to go there. He was so flustered right now.

"Marriage, huh? look, I may be single but I never said I was..." He didn't finish that thought. He thought about it for a moment. "Alright, so you're my bride to be, orange colors and all that. But, on one condition." He held up one finger. Then it was two, then..three fingers? a number?

"Three years. I don't know if you're even a human being or not, but what the hell. Just wait three years first, it's the law. I can get parental consent in a years time by my father, but this is my decision as a man. You want my loyalty in marriage, wait it out then and show me yours. Plus, it gives me plenty of time to get to know you better." He said, taking a sip of his tea.

"So? do we have a deal then, bride-to-be?" He said smugly.

Oooooh, it was just too easy to get these characters to start bargaining with her! Seriously, it's like they didn't really seem to get the whole concept of careful bargaining. Oh well, all the more power to her then! And entertainment as well, but whatever.

She would smile at him as he made his offer, leaning ever-so-slightly closer to Yuji. "A fair offer, dearie. And thematically decent as well, considering the magic of the number three itself. But there's one thing you're failing to consider, lover-mine~."

She would use her illusion capabilities to manifest a toy-like shoulder devil on the boy's left, one that looked exactly like her. It was dressed in a rather... revealing swimsuit. "You couldn't take your eyes off of her while she was changing clothes, no matter how much you objected~" it would whisper in his ear in a tinny-sounding version of his voice, though it was still entirely immobile.

It would poof away after that, and then an angel toy, once again looking like Lilica, would appear on his right shoulder. "And why should we put her through three years of us not feeling the same way about her, if she could attempt to find someone else while still in the prime of her beautiful youth if we waited for a shorter period of time?"

She would smile at Oda, winking at him yet again. "They make very good points, Oda-chan~. How about we settle upon a better timeline, hmmm? Oooh, I know! A year and day! That sounds perfect to me. It's still a fairly long amount of time too~ So, what do you say?"

Yuji turned his head at least a couple of times. What the hell were those things? this girl, she was definitely not normal. Were they manifestations, illusions or apart of her? he couldn't tell.

Where the hell were his shoulder moral compasses when he needed them? he bit his lip. Why should he have to get married at 16? it wasn't fair. He had only gotten dragged into this because she showed her face in the first place.

A year and a day, huh..right, so my answer is.." Any second now.

......
......
......
......
......

Make up your mind, already!

"No."

Wait, what?

"At least, not until you answer me a few questions first. Like your name, for example. I'm the first person to ask you that for some reason or other, right? so, as that person you should tell me your name. And that wasn't a request, that was an order." He said, leaning in far closer then she had.

"I'm convinced now: you are not human, are you? I feel like I'm making a deal with the devil here. And I've already been to hell once..I won't go there so easily." He said, closing his eyes for a moment. He then opened them, expecting a response from her.

Lilica would give an exaggerated sigh after her "betrothed" said no to her timeline. "Fiiiiiiinnnnne then. But those are the only two you're getting, Oda-chan~ The rest you'll have to find out yourself~" A little heart would manifest itself in the air next to her as she finished her sentence, drifting upwards some before disappearing.

"Name wise, you can call me Lilica. No last name or the like, just Lilica. As for being human... No, I'm not. But I'm not related to Hell either, so you've got that going for you!" She would lean back to a normal posture after that, the air literally sparkling around her now. "After all, there's no way that a demon could be this awesome, terrific, magical, or glamorous!"

"More like odd, headache inducing, creepy, gleefully annoying..uh...another word for someone unnatural..aaaaannndd I'm gonna have to deal with you for the rest of my life now, aren't I?" Yuji groaned, face-palming.

"Fine. A year and a day..heavens above, give me strength and favor..." He said, sighing. "Now drink your damn tea. I go to the courtesy to pour you a cup and it's just wasting away there." He complained.

"It's probably cool by now. Don't you have any class whatsoever? how shameful.." He said arrogantly, taking a sip of his tea, and finishing it off. He put away his cup and plate. "Oh, and Lilica, honey? be a dear and don't drive me bonkers." He said with a deadpan look on his face.
