Beware The Penguin Emperor
|
It was good luck that he had escaped from the previous assault with his life intact, however, counting on luck forever was not a choice he was to make, especially when it was not only his own life that was in peril. As such, he decided to take upon the habit of taking in pixels then letting them go at regular intervals to avoid being in pain. He did this in order to hopefully be at the maximum amount when trouble struck. It was a tiring and time consuming process which he hoped that the school would not be bothered by, as it would require him to cash in some of his absences. The other precaution that he took was to start making a serious attempt at understanding what he was facing, what the city was facing and what could be a possibly efficient way to tackle the issue. He had brought a backpack full of items, a map of the city he had bought from a convenience store, a couple of notebooks, pens, pencils and other assorted writing tools to utilize for different markers. He decided to go for the park because it was generally easier to focus there than either his room or the local library. After all, with a pc close by it was easy to let the mind wander. The boy made his way to a nearby wooden table, plumping himself on the hard seat before sprawling the map and notebooks over it, putting up some pixels to the sides in order to extend the table further. Starting by analyzing the motives that could have prompted the attacks seemed like the best way to begin the process of planning ahead. Kaizo took a pen and a notebook, writing a quick list of things that could have caused otherwise good people to suddenly attack.
Even as he wrote the list, the bluenette found himself cringing at the last object on the list, however, he wouldn't completely discard any idea as he did not have much to base himself on in order to keep working. After jotting down that brief brainstorm, he proceeded to take a look at the map, attempting to check the places that would be likeliest to be hit next. So far there had been two attacks, both completely focused on complete destruction of heavily populated and frequently visited places of the city. From what he could see, the point of those attacks was not to get something, or at least not something physical visibly contained in either of those places. Kaizo made note of that at one corner of the map before marking down some spots that had just as many people. The park and the hospital immediately struck as places where an attack would be immensely effective. He proceeded to more scarcely populated areas such as the shrine and the transportation district, before finalizing at the high school. Tapping his head with the pen, he thought of the implications of attacking the school. On the one hand, it was easily the place with the most protection due to the amount of powerful students and teachers that gathered there. On the other, if they managed to take it down, it would surely make a statement about them being unstoppable. It felt as if there was something he was missing, an epiphany, that, as well as someone to discuss with. Not only to get ideas, but also to make a plan of action. |

Selene stumbled over, looking like she had just run a marathon. Her normally immaculate uniform was torn in several places and her tie was missing. The top two buttons of her blouse were undone and she had a hungry look in her eyes. "I thought I smelled someone over here... What are you doing out here... Sorry, I cannot say I am familiar with you... What is your name?" she asked, looking at him with a predatory glint in her eyes. Edited by BlitzScythe, Aug 13 2014, 11:16 PM.

Yurei has been reading a graphic novel under a tree in the park behind the bench that Kaizo is sitting on when she looked up for a second to see a girl who looked like she had just been through a fight or something run up to the boy on the bench. this intrigued her and she approached them. "Umm hey lady what happened to you?" the neko girl asked the brunette woman. her tail wagging behind her and her ears twitching a little bit as she stared at the girl in bewilderment. |
