Hmm. It seems that Shin's classmates are capable of taking care of themselves and others. He was prepared to grab Selene and doge out of the way of the Kamen Rider's attack. But it seems that that wasn't needed as another student came to their rescue. And after Eva rescued them both. Selene managed to deal with the incoming drones. This was quite fortuitous. Shin was rather worried that he would have to babysit someone. Seeing that that wasn't the case Shin surveyed the situation. "I'm quite fine thank you." He murmured. He had a new respect for Selene, she dealt with those drones quite handily. His own plan involved directing their attacks back towards their master through impressive acrobatics and a well timed shadow step. Seeing as how that that wasn't needed, Shin instead eyed his opponents. One was a Kamen rider, an extremely dangerous enemy. The other was the one who spawned the drones. Another unknown variable, and it seems she has a hostage. Ahh but it looks like a the hostage had a plan, seeing as how she was completely unafraid. Keeping his voice low Shin whispered to Selene. "React, don't act. We know nothing about our opponents. Wait for an opening then attack with full force." He snapped his fingers and summoned his blade. He couldn't help but let out a smirk. It seems he's stumbled onto something interesting. Perhaps today will be more fun than he originally thought. He kept in his stance, ready to dodge at the slightest movement from his opponents, or attack if he was given an opening. Edited by Silverback, Aug 2 2014, 07:58 AM.

One of the greatest weapons one can have on their side, is fear. Fear of uncertainty. Fear of discomfort. Fear of safety. Fear of an enemy. Fear of one's own life. Most dangerously, fear for the safety and life of those dear to you. In a combat situation, the ability to manipulate such fears, to play and prey upon the psyche of your opponent, was a powerful trump card that gave an edge like few others could hope to match. That was why the saying exists: Fear cuts deeper than swords. Amidst the chaos of the explosions and mess caused by her flashier counterparts, noone had noticed as the young woman had quietly taken position in the service ramp of the highest point of the park's roller coaster. It was amazing where one could get to if you looked like you belonged there. Noone had questioned her, or her extremely large toolbox. What was another maintenance worker dressed in baggy clothing afterall? Did they not need special tooling for the ride maintenance? What they'd contained instead was a ghillie suit, a mat, and a large, finely tuned rifle. It was a beautifully worked action and heavy barrel, mated to an ugly, synthetic black stock in 7mm Remington Magnum calibre, designed for competition use. Competition use of course, also meant it would put a hole wherever a skilled shooter wanted, so long as they kept it in good condition. ... The marksman didn't smile at how simple it was. Surveying the battlefield had caught up all her attention. Picking an appropriate target, and deciding when and where to engage. In the midst of the Chaos, it was actually hard to find one, but one target rather stood out to her. One of the responders, just 700 metres away, in the presence of a young man she knew would react as she wanted. Contrary to some beliefs, the first shot of an offensive sniper was not actually to kill, but to cripple. Taking aim at the young girl, she adjusted the range and wind, waiting for just the right moment. The warm air of the park momentarily froze for a brief instant... ![]() ...And a 100gr bullet, laced with the concept of 'imposition of natural laws' screamed towards the upper leg of Kotoka Youma at just under 1000m/s. The loud report of the gunshot followed two seconds later. |

Matt was just walking into Doki Doki land when he heard a loud explosion. The human-form homunculus would stop for a moment, tilting his head quizzically to the side before shrugging. He would continue to walk forwards, past a few people who were already in a panic, whistling as he did so. "Not me problem. he said out loud to no one in particular. "If the humans want to have their little spat, they can. Nothin' but God himself could get in the way of me fun today!" The Scottish boy would keep walking, picking up someone else's discarded map as he proceeded. He would open it up as he heard intensifying crashes, cannons firing, and even stranger noises. With a visible effort of will, Matt would bring the map up to his face, specifically avoiding looking at the plume of dust rising into the air. His whistling would start to get louder, as if he was trying to drown out the sounds of battle. "Not. Me. Problem." he would say once again, this time through gritted teeth. He would begin to walk faster, his face still practically buried in the map he had. Even with the sound of the gunshot, it seemed he was hell-bent to ignore the sounds of fighting. Of course, that was made even harder as he happened to walk right between the Kamen Rider and the other students. If it weren't for the sounds of battle, they would be able to hear the boy swearing quietly under his breath. He would suddenly stop, feeling a shiver going up his spine. He would fold down the top half of the map with his thumbs, and look from side to side quickly a few times. He would then look up at the sky, scowling. "I understand that ye work in mysterious ways," he would say while looking upwards, his tone obviously annoyed. "BUT WHY?!" |

She survey the fighting below she had activated her chimera eye which made her right eye a solid pitch black while her left was her usual green. it allowed to her to read their movements and lips, so even as she was unnoticed as of well she got a reading on her opponents abilities. her monkey tail was wagging excitedly but she remain calm, this could be fun but she wasn't going to jump into the flames, until she had a good idea what she was up against. she kept watching the fighting down below. her bamboo sword on her back a large wrench in her right hand. Unrefined maybe, but all that mattered to OOO right now was results. Yet, it seemed that even though Kazuna unleashed a large scale attack with no remorse, one that easily caused the most destruction, no one dared do anything to stop her. The crowd continued to gawk and focus elsewhere. No wonder Hyakuji was always in shambles, the self-proclaimed defenders always twiddled their thumbs until the danger had well established itself. As such, Kazuna just continued to not hold anything back in this case. If everyone was simply going to watch and question what was going on? Well, it only meant every one was a free target. As such, she literally drove her free hand into the ground, sending a powerful quake around her and destroying the concrete with little difficulty...and pulled out what appeared to be a giant Axe. One that she fed a Cell Medal too and transformed her weapon into its Bazooka form...and after a bit of a charge, fired off a spirallng purple beam that was much larger than herself. One that she did not hesitate to sweep the battlefield, burning anything and everything that got in her way. Unlike the energy slash, this time, anything that came into contact with the attack simply vanished in addition to the trail of destruction. She was -not- going to hold back because of bystanders or simply because people wanted to try negotiating. She was after people's lives. She was destroying the park with no real goal nor demands. She was a threat that needed to be stopped! Everyone caught in her attacks, both from before or even now, were no longer part of the world of the living. Civilians, man, woman, child or the elderly, if they weren't aided or if they were simply unlucky, were as good as dead. They were all reduced to one, very simple concept: Nothing. *Fawning Internally*
|
The Fang was meant to tear through metallic objects, so the remote missile tore through the chunks with ease. Thankfully for him, they diverted its course enough to miss him at first, but now it circled back in an attempt to finish the job by stabbing him from behind! Meanwhile, the Fang shot at by Eva was less lucky, as it was completely destroyed from the blast, while the ones eaten by Selene simply dissipated. "Note to self, Fangs are not exempt from the Stormtrooper Clause when shot at," Aisia groaned. "And really, ignoring the new person who shows up? Not a good idea." At that point, Kazuna unleashed the power of her bazooka and started to tear up the park. "Since you were nice enough to introduce yourself, let me give you some advice. Always watch your back. My name is Aisia Asakura. You're not even worth the beam dagger I have at your throat, and killing you would be too easy. Come back to me when you're worth killing." And in a flash, she simultaneously kicked Lucius towards the incoming blast and teleported into the sky. Aisia was not here to waste time. She had a job to do, and that was to destroy this accursed park. Without further delay, she materialized Wing Zero's Twin Buster Rifle, and separated it. "Here, Kazuna, let me help you out." With that, she stretched out the rifles to both sides and started spinning in place like a top... and as she did so, she fired both rifles at the same time! Their large beams of death started to envelop the park, destroying everything in its wake! |

Selene ducked to avoid a stray laser and looked at Shin. "We don't have time for that. They're destroying everything. We have to stop them or people are going to get hurt." She looked from OOO to Aisia and then back to Shin. "We have to seal their movements. if we can stop them from moving long enough, we might be able to talk some sense into them." Selene reached into her pouch and began to prepare some caramel and a length of licorice. "I'll try to seal their feet while you-" The sound of fury filled screams reached her ears and she turned her head and saw a male student holding a wounded girl. "Change of plans, we've got someone wounded. I'll go try to help." she said, changing her preparations to enhancing some gum. "You try to do something about her in the meantime." she said, pointing at Aisia as she ran towards the wounded student. Edited by BlitzScythe, Aug 4 2014, 03:27 AM.

He didn't realize something had gone terribly wrong until a second after he heard the gunshot. By then, he had been three seconds late. Confusion, an agonizing scream of pain, and a horrific revelation. "...YOUMA!!!" Whatever thoughts or plans that had been in the young man's head had been completely purged. In a rapidly mounting surge of panic and fear, the young man doubled back to the half-phantom whom he thought had only tripped on something to fall, only to realize that it wasn't something so petty. Kotoka Youma had fallen, clutching a limp and completely broken leg where blood is profusely pouring out from a large, open wound, screaming her lungs out at the pain that only came a second later. What's bad isn't the fact that she had been shot, not by itself. It was more the fact that... the immortal half-phantom with such powerful attachment to the world that makes her nigh-unkillable by any kind of ordinary, and a lot of other extraordinary things, had been crippled by a single, mysterious gun shot. ...Seth Ryouga had completely lost his composure. "S-shit...! Shitshitshit... H-hang... hang in there, please...!" He stammered, shaking as he tried his best- as much as his chaotic mind could muster anyway -to treat her. There was really only one other time when he had seen the half-phantom being in this much genuine pain, and that was... ...No, don't think that, don't... not even once, don't you dare to think of it even once, Seth Ryouga. So he told himself. Don't worry though, he wouldn't have the time to. "...SHIT!!!" A massive, destructive blast of energy was fired from somewhere and started tearing and wrecking the whole place into oblivion, leaving nothing in its wake but destruction. Seth had been lucky it barely missed him by a hair, having been far enough from the source to have time to respond to it, managing to grab the half-phantom and leap out of the way. ...He doesn't like to think what would have happened had he been caught in it. Because... ...What the hell, there's... literally nothing left behind... it was like something just ate up the existence of anything the attack touched... He wouldn't have the time to breath, because soon enough there was another, and another, energy beams raining down from the sky ripping through the amusement park to shreds. "Dammit, how many are there?!" Probably less than he thought but he's not taking any chances considering the sheer scale of the attack, the young man was quick to bail for cover, mainly because he does not want to get caught in the crossfire with Youma still injured in his arms. It's just too bad there's really not much place he could use to take cover from... Everywhere he could see is being blown apart, taking a few steps to the left had as much danger as taking a few steps to the right, and there wasn't much that he could, or would do when the first thing currently in his mind is to get Youma out of any further danger. Failing that, the second thing in his mind... "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" The young man yelled out, wildly looking around for the person guilty of injuring the half-phantom, all the while desperately dodging the destructive beams being indiscriminately rained down on them. "I'LL FIND YOU, AND I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU FOR HURTING YOUMA!!!" ...If that person doesn't want to be found in the first place it's hardly likely they would show themselves now. |

"Whooooooa!" Lucid twisted in mid-air, spotting Aisia's teleportation move before she realized that she was getting stupidly lucky today. Wow, that girl could've filleted her in an instant! And now, she was heading towards a giant blast, but not in an unstoppable way. Summoning two of the Proto-Longinus, she dragged those spears across the ground and slowed herself just enough that she was able to tilt herself back and land feet first on the shaky floor. It was close, but she had avoided the disintegration beam. Of course, her bodily control wasn't exactly going to help her when there were explosions and lasers blasting everything left and right. Whew, what an amazing apocalypse! Where could they even escape to? This merciless and cool destruction was just going to keep on going until somebody stopped those two wackos. Or rather, three. In the distance, she caught of a glimpse of poor crippled Youma in between all the rays of death. Well, that didn't look like she got lasered. Hmm. Running away would mean she couldn't see the beams of death. And standing still would be pretty dumb even by Lucid's standards. Really, if escape wasn't an option, then she'd just have to find a safe zone. But there were no safe zones. Then again, wouldn't Kazuna's area be a little less likely to be hit by Aisia? She started running, heart pounding with excitement as she got closer to the single strongest person in the park. It was obviously extremely dangerous, but it was just a bit less fatal than being in the kill zone of all three attackers at once. Being close enough would be like fighting one goddess of war instead of two goddesses of war and a mysterious crippler. 0.001% was a better chance of survival than 0%, so she'd take it. Yes, it was still likely Lucid would get atomized in the next few minutes, if not seconds. The three were wrecking the whole place, after all. But at the same time, it was even more likely that everybody who could be freely attacked by the instigators of this incident would be reduced to nothing. Might as well survive just a few moments longer, right? The white haired killer grinned, sprinting to meet Kazuna. Hey, it'd be better to die at the hands of a friend. Nothing against Aisia and the crippler, of course. Lucid just preferred having a friendly face put her under. |

"Tch..." The results were close to the expectation, but reality was never as convenient as the plan. The idea was for Seth to be taken out by the beam blast when he stopped to help his companion, but the current result was fine as well. Injuring an opponent meant someone had to care for them. If they both left the battlefield, that was one less to stand in the way of the objective. She worked the bolt and scanned for another target. At the rate of destruction, the marksman wouldn't have time for too many more shots before her allies went to smash this end of the park as well. It was a pity she couldnt go for the highest drop, but everyone knew to look there. Instead, she'd settled for a position on the third hill which, while it didn't offer a view of the full park, did offer a clear line of sight to shoot at the main areas and the final drop. Bingo Another target running straight at Kazuna. She adjusted her aim for a quick snap shot at Lucid's center of mass.... and adjusted just slightly lower, right below the ribs... The air of the park chilled once again from a surge of magical energy, and another shot rang out in the summer air. |

Beware The Penguin Emperor
|
Perhaps it was serendipitous that the occasion that he decided to visit Doki-Doki, would be the same as the moment when unknown forces decided to wreck chaos on the amusement park. As he entered, he saw how large chunks of the place were instantly blasted away to smithereens, how Youma was severely injured despite her ability to regenerate, and the ensuing anger that was caused upon Seth. Turning towards the source of conflict, and then looking around, he found himself unable to see who the sniper was, however he did manage to notice a figure of a certain rider he did not know of carrying a bazooka, and a form he couldn't quite pinpoint due to it being rotating like a top in the sky. Clenching his fists, he understood that his power was not nearly enough to challenge either of them in a straight up fight, guerilla tactics, however, were not completely out of the question. He shot two 200 compressed pixel cubes, both coloured in blue. One of them was aimed at the floor below the Kamen Rider with the bazooka, hoping to damage the person's footing, and the second one was aimed at the feet of the person that was spinning like a top. After shooting, he'd make haste to hide at the entrance of the mirror house, where he would have visibility but hopefully would not be seen immediately by the attackers. OOC Well, this was just perfect. Here Matt was, hoping to just have a fun day acclimating to some modern entertainment, and now he was caught up in a fight. And if there was one thing Matt hated, it was fights. A fight implied that the other person had a chance of winning, and that was the sort of thing Matt hated to have in his opponents. Preferably, he would be doing this in the dark, with the person in black armor unaware of his presence, and while he was armed with his Kakugane. Unfortunately, absolutely none of that was the case currently, so he'd have to go for a far inferior method. Namely, a perfectly "fair" fight. After all, the only other option was running away, and that was simply not even something worth considering. Thankfully, he had some things leaning his his favor still. While he was looking back and forth between the people he was stuck between, he noticed the person in black armor was beginning to draw what seemed to be an axe out of the ground. In an instant, Matt had made up his mind on what to do. If he was to land in a fight between humans, then by God, he was going to fight! ... Or, you know, show his obvious superiority to the special cases of humanity in Hyakuji. Six in one, yadda yadda. So, while Kazuna was preparing the bazooka's formation, Matt would start to run. Not away, like some people seemed to be doing. No, Matt was running directly towards Kazuna, the map still in his hand. While he was definitely behind the curve compared to other Human-form Homunculi, Matt was still more than a bit faster than most normal humans. Combined with the fact that he was closer to the Kamen Rider than anyone else, the more than manageable distance between the two of them, and the set-up time of the attack, he would have an easy time of closing the gap between them. From there, it would evolve into Matt's over-arching strategy for all opponents he faced, whether they were physical, mental, or societal. He would face down one thing, engage it until it either ceased to be a problem or made him cease, and then move on. Kazuna would have to make a choice then, as the charging of her weapon was probably not complete, if it had even transformed fully yet. She could either stay put, or try to re-establish distance to either re-do her attack or come up with a new strategy. If she moved, then Matt would smile, content with the short amount of time he had bought for himself (and incidentally more than a few other people) with his actions. But if she didn't move, when the Scotsman was within a few scant feet of the other first-year student, that he would take an action other than simply running towards her. After all, he was still holding onto a map, and that was hardly helpful. In short, the Homunculus threw the large paper map at the Kamen Rider's face. While normally this action would be somewhat useless, Matt had his strength helping him with the throw. The map of Doki-Doki land would take up the majority of her vision, which would greatly inhibit her ability to react to Matt's follow-up, either because she let it be, or because she had to use a hand to get rid of it. While the paper was momentarily distracting her, Matt would quickly grab at the weapon in her hands. If he was able to grab it, all it would take was a quick twist of his body to jerk the weapon. If she wasn't supremely superhuman in her strength, Matt would disarm her. If she was, she wouldn't be disarmed, but she would be lifted off her feet by him, due to her relatively sparse weight being well within the Homunculi's strength capabilities. Regardless of what his foe did, though, Matt would utter a few simple words after his initial rush. "Does the word Kakugane happen to mean anything to ye, Laddie?" |

Hey, hey, hey… were they for real? This was wholesale destruction with no logic behind this. Fortunately Eva didn’t worry about the insanity of this for too much and went straight for Aisia after destroying the Fang. There were others going after the Kamen Rider, so the gynoid left Kazuna alone for now, but Aisia was by no means undefended. Eva weaved around the park, calculating the paths of the massive beams and avoiding them to the best of her abilities as she charged the girl. “Aisia Asakura. Disengage and explain yourself immediately.” Of course, no negotiation was going to work well so long as her target had the upper hand, so Eva fired upon the two Buster Rifles with her cannon arm. ---------------------Jake and Esther--------------------- “They have a sniper.” The first shot had stuck Youma not two seconds prior, and the two robot dogs have begun to move. “Whoever it is, they have some strange weaponry. The normally invincible Kotoka Youma is down.” “Hang on, I’ll connect to Eva and see if her satellite picked up the shot.” The second shot came as Esther did her thing and a second later… “Got it. The shot originated from a roller-coaster within one kilometre of our location. Come on Jake, we are going to need some help with this.” The pair rushed towards Seth and started running on either side of the young man. “Seth Ryouga. We have the position of the one responsible for Kotoka Youma’s injuries. I will lead you to them, and in the meantime Esther will take Youma to safety.” Given the young man’s personality it was highly likely he would take him up on the offer. Even if he didn’t, Esther had also notified Maria of the sniper’s location just in case some back up was needed. Edited by Sophia Antistita, Aug 4 2014, 08:46 AM.

"Tsk, should've expected as much." Gaius muttered as he continued to run away from the weapon that continued to chase him. It seemed like any kind of attempt to stop it with just earth in front of it. Many, many more people had joined into the fight it was starting to really get into a massive cluster of chaos. Beams were being fired from practically everywhere and he still had the damned rocket following him. Before the whole damned town went up in flames they had to deal with this mess, Gaius manipulated amounts of earth into the form of large hands, they reached out to the projectile and attempted to destroy it by applying immense pressure to the side of the projectile. He didn't have time to see if it had been successful and kept running, barely dodging the myriad of beams and attacks raining down from everywhere. Taking a note of the general layout of the battlefield he decided the most important thing would be to try and incapacitate the Rider, taking note of one of the other student's attacks against the ground surrounding the Rider's feet Gaius took advantage of that. The earth around the Rider began to rise in an attempt to ensnare the person in question. Following this several chunks of rocks were sent flying towards the Rider hoping that even if the initial attack missed the followup would hit. Gaius wasn't exactly confident in the success of his plan but he had to try something. |

(OCC: Sorry about the delay. My internet is rather finicky at the moment so if I suddenly stop posting I apologise. I may only be able to make one or two posts today. It should be fixed tomorrow.) Hmm things seem to be escalating. Well that no bother. Shin can still deal with everything. Oh my there seems to be rather large energy blasts going every which way. Well they only seem to be aiming side to side and not above. Amateurs, they mock others but fail to cover one of their most obvious blind spots. Shin focused his powers and manipulated his own shadow to surge upwards, launching him into the air, over the energy beams and landing right between the two people who are terrorising the park. Before either of them could react, he would crouch down low, underneath their weapon-fire and send his shadows to work. His tow tendrils would go to work at targeting the Kamen Rider's legs, striking them with a fair amount of force. In an effort to knock her off balance. As for the other attacker. Well she would find herself surrounded by a black coffin-like construct made of pure shadow. With a flick of his wrist, Shin manipulated the "Shadow Maiden"TM to pierce its occupant with spikes of shadow. The spikes were aimed at her limbs and joints. Shin had no intention of killing the girl. At least not until he got some answers. With his maneuver complete Shin barked out a quick order to Eva. "We seem to have a sniper in our midst. Be a dear and deal with that will you? The shot came from over that way. The most logical place is on top of the rollercoaster." Shin didn't really have much to fear from the sniper. He had positioned himself in between the pair who had opened fire at the people gathered. Unless the sniper was some sort of supernaturally good shot. He had nothing to worry about from them. Besides. If Seth's declaration was any indication. They would soon have a lot on their plate to deal with. In fact the pair had to take care if they shot at Shin. They might end up shooting each other. |
