NICE DRIVE!
A great explosion echoed throughout Hyakuji's one and only mall as the building itself rumbled from the force of the blast.

People were screaming, the mall security was working at top speed to evacuate the building. Nobody was quite sure what exactly had happened, but something was going very wrong. As a crowd grew larger and larger outside, Hyakuji's Police Department was swift to respond to the scene and set up a perimeter around the mall. It was clear they had some inkling of what was going on, but in the face of crowds of worried citizens they remained silent on calls for the story of what was going on.

In minutes the majority of the mall had been evacuated to safety. In the end, all that would remain inside were the brave or crazy few that didn't follow the call to escape or those few slipping past the police line to head inside and investigate for themselves. The HPD knew all too well the capabilities of Hyakuji's students and all too regularly turned a blind eye to their actions if it could benefit the resolution of a problem.

"What a mess," Daisuke Nakano mumbled to himself as a flagged down a group of shoppers and ensured they moved back beyond the barricade that was being set up. It was going to be one of those days. A long day...

====

Inside was another story.

Damaged store fronts, crumpled benches, debris and destruction cut a trail throughout the entire complex. And for those investigating the matter, it all ran to one central location: the food court. Dead center of the mall's location, it seemed that whoever or whatever happened to be totaling the mall, they had moved on there. Following the path of destruction, those heading forward would find the food court in a sea of flames.

They would arrive just early enough to spot a black sphere; an orb of some sort of energy. Slowly, it drifted through the air and behind the counter to one of the restaurants. Seconds later, the spot exploded lashing out more flames to join the building inferno. Whatever was going on, the threat was making short work of the building. It wouldn't take much longer before the entire mall would be destroyed.

And there, standing at the heart of the destruction, was the source of this chaos:

Posted Image

And yet, could this be so? As he turned to face the oncoming footsteps, a confident smirk worked across Hiro Tsukasa's face. For anyone the recognized the well known man about Hyakuji, everything that was going on seemed inconceivable barring some cosmic-level of mind control. Hiro Tsukasa, a popular teacher of Hyakuji High School, a stalwart defender of the city and, to some, the leader of Arcadia which defended all of Japan and at times the world from supernatural danger.

"Are you surprised~" he teased in a playful tone to those arriving on this scene of unbridled chaos. For the time being, it seemed he made no reaction to any new arrivals. No spring for defense or immediate attack. Whatever he was doing, it was definitely within his usual style of handling danger. Nothing appeared to be off about Hiro Tsukasa from his usual self aside from the situation going on.

And with that being the case, just what the hell was going on. Was there a purpose for this destruction? Some reason important enough for a rampage on this level that was not immediately apparent to those on the scene. There were too many unknowns to grasp the situation at hand. Only one thing could be certain...

Hiro Tsukasa appears to be trying to destroy Majikku Mall and something is very very wrong...

Making her way past the barricade Dawn was one of the people who had managed to slip back into the mall. While the police usually had a clue as to what they were doing she wanted to see what was going on for herself. It was a stupid risk but she wanted to make sure that she could do something about it if it was possible, she had just as much right to defend her home in her opinion.

Looking through the damaged and destroyed mall Dawn was in shock, it seemed like an inferno had just passed through the food court leaving nothing but damage and destruction in it's wake. Whatever could've caused this much damage was surely something not to be messed with, if she wanted to deal with it then she'd have to simply be cool and collected about it and plan ahead. Don't take risks and look for an opening, of course that relied on whatever has caused all this destruction to have an opening to exploit.

What she found at the center of the destruction however, was not what she was expecting. It was Hiro Tsukasa, her advanced demonology teacher, was he here trying to stop it? From his teasing comments she assumed not, she wasn't sure what was going on. As far as Dawn knew Hiro was supposed to protect the town, not destroy it.

"What's going on Tsukasa-Sensei?" Dawn asked anxiously, she was hoping to talk the situation down. For all her bravado earlier Dawn was certain that she couldn't take on Hiro in a duel, he was by far a superior wizard to herself. "Why are you doing this?" She prepared herself on the chance he tried to attack her, if it did end up in a fight she couldn't afford to be a single step behind.

What is this thing?
"Eh kinda." A young werewolf spoke up, his face a mask of calm as he addressed the possibly psychotic teacher. While he appeared to be calm, internally Jack was freaking out. "DAMNITDAMNITDAMNIT!!" Was all that was going through his mind. "I just wanted to get some freaking plaster from the hardware store and next thing I know one the most powerful mages in the country was blowing shit up!"

Nonchalantly dropping his bag the lycan eyed the teacher. Keeping away from the flames and hoping that someone else would arrive to give him support. Noticing that another student was present Jack decided to try and draw attention to himself so the girl could perhaps perform a sneak attack. "Sooo." He drawled, calm facade still up. "Mind telling me why you decided to start blowing up the mall? Did you get upset because you missed a sale? Someone overcharge you? He scoffed. "As a teacher aren't you supposed to set an example?"

Needless to say, taunting someone who can blow you up with a few words isn't the smartest thing to do. But Jack intended to keep Hiro's attention focused on him. So long as the wizard was focused on the werewolf, other people would have time to either escape or attempt a sneak attack.

Ralius had come to appreciate the local mall since his arrival on the planet, as it proved a chance for him to socialize himself and observe other people his age and learn his way around the right mannerisms of his new environment. He'd been shopping for some new clothes (spaceship crews aren't known for their diverse wardrobes, after all), when all hell broke loose in the midst of it. The police responded quickly and set up a perimeter, but Ralius doggedly refused evacuation orders to see what was at the heart of the chaos.

Opening his backpack, he quickly slipped his AMD armpiece onto his forearm, a trail of blue light up along the length indicating it was fully charged with magical energy and ready for use. Moving through the trashed mall, he came upon a couple of other students who appeared to have found their way to the food court as well, seeming to be the heart of the disturbance. But what he saw he was not at all prepared for.

"Tsukasa-sensei.. he muttered in shocked disbelief, "What is this all about?? Is this some kind of strange test..? But all this destruction... Please explain yourself sensei!"

He remained tense -- he didn't want to engage his weapon just yet, but something in the pit of his stomach told him that this was dead wrong in a lot of ways.

Rakutsu was having a nice day. He was still in a good mood from his day in the mall last night, he met a new friend named Mei. She showed him a nice clothing store that had his favorite kind of clothing dark clothing. They talked a little bit and then when to the food couch. He bought her dinner and talked more about where they grew up. His friend Selene even came in too the picture and finished his mask. He loves it.
So he hear to pick up cleaning products for his room. He wants to clean it before his new roommate shows up.what happened next took away his happy mood. A explosion ranged out across the mall. People were running like chickens with there heads cut off as they tryed to leave the mall. Rakutsu stood behind so he can try to do something about it. As the remaining people evacuated Rakutsu walked out of the store and saw something he didn't think he would see.
He saw a couple of people his age that had the school uniform on standing around a man. He heard them call him Tsukasa-sensei meaning that the man had to be a teacher at the school. He saw jack standing in front of the man and decide to join him. He ran towards him with superspeed and stood right next to him leaving a streak of black and red. He didn't have his uniform on, but his the skull face mask on his lower face, his black and red hoodie, with black cargo pants, with the black and red running shoe.
"So since your a student at our school can you tell me who that is, I haven't seen him in the school yet?"he asked Jack as he stood next to him.

"Awww yes! Finally got my hands on Biohazard 7!~ Time to go home and play it!" Said Kaito walking with a couple of bags in his hand. He was enjoying his day off and decided to go shopping. It was turning out to be a nice day...that is until it turned bad really fast.

Suddenly the mall was thrown into chaos. Police were leading people out of the mall as quickly as they could. Kaito managed to avoid them and waited until the coast was clear before heading towards the source of the disaster.

"Ugh...shouldve known something like this was gonna happen today."
Said Kaito grumbling and throwing his bags of to the side somewhere. Running towards the source of the chaos Kaito noticed the further he went the more the stores looked totally destroyed. He wondered what or who couldve done it. Deciding to play it safe he formed two water whips with the water from his gourd. Arriving at the food court he noticed there were other students there as well. But when he saw who was responsible for all this destruction he just couldnt believe it.

"Tsu...Tsukasa-sensei!?!?" Said Kaito baffled

"Whats the meaning of this!? Are you trying to hurt all these people?!"

Something was wrong. Very wrong. Tsukasa would never do something like this!

The mood was undoubtedly tense inside Majikku Mall. Students were shocked to find one of their most beloved teachers not trying to help alleviate the chaos, but create it. Their hearts were most likely filled with fear and shock as one of the most stalwart defenders of the city was currently destroying the mall.

However there was one student who right now simply didn't give a damn about all that at the moment.
If one looked up at the skylight above Hiro, they would see a young auburn-haired man looking down at them, while grinning like a maniac.

How did he get there you ask? Well its quite simple. After hearing the explosion and seeing the panicked masses flee from the mall. Sora strode up to the police barricade and demanded entry.
Obviously he was denied. His excuse of, "I wanna fight whoever's inside!" didn't sit well with the police. So he decided to sneak past the barricade and climb onto the roof of the mall.
Just don't ask how he got up there. Neither he nor I have any idea.

Unlike the others present. Sora didn't give damn for Hiro's reason for causing chaos. He was threatening innocents and generally being a dick. And that was good enough for Sora.

With a grin that showed off his unusually sharp canines. Sora invoked his favourite combat spell, enveloping his hands and feet in a corona of white light. After the spell was complete. Sora punched the glass underneath him, smashing the skylight and sending the Dragon Slayer flying straight down towards Hiro. Fists ready to deliver a ferocious blow to his crazed teacher. His faithful companion Kine clinging onto his back the whole time. Ready to activate his magic so his best friend doesn't end up a messy stain on the floor.

~Some time before the attack~

"For some backwater countryside city, their mall sure has a lot of choices~" A certain ordinary girl with a pumpkin-red side-ponytail, Sena Ryouga, said cheerfully as she took yet another denim jacket from a nearby clothing rack, casually posing around with it in front of a mirror. Since her brother had dropped her off at Majikku Mall before going on a date with someone at the amusement park, Sena had been having quite the time exploring around the surprisingly big and plentiful shops around in the mall. Of course her first order of business after getting a few bites of some sweet deep fried donut-ty goodness, is to splurge all of her savings this month on new clothes. Lots and lots of them.

She does have the money, so why not. In fact she's already had a closet worth of dresses, shirts, blouses, shorts and skirts alike, shoes, hats and scarves, enough to make the shopkeepers and fellow shoppers stare in worry. "Well, that's enough I guess. Just hope Mina wouldn't mind me borrowing her closet~" The ordinary girl said, more to herself than anyone as she shoved armfuls after armfuls of apparels to accompanying shopkeepers to be brought to the counter so she could pay for the-

BOOOOMMMM!!!

The building rumbled violently following the deafening nearby explosion. People stumbled and froze in shock, before outbursts and screams erupted. People were running and shoving against each other to escape from... whatever it was that caused that.

Sena was admittedly a bit slower to realize that something had happened. By the time she had managed to dig herself out of the pile of clothes and clothing rack, she saw the whole store had been deserted and messed up. "What... what is going on...?!" The girl grumbled as she got up to her feet, rushing up to the entrance of the store, just in time to see-

BOOOOMMMM!!!

~Present~

It... hurts.

Sena groaned as her consciousness returned, pushing herself up and letting a charred fur coat slip off her, before suddenly being attacked by a stinging pain on her left forearm, causing her to wince in pain. "O-ow...!" Her other hand automatically clutched on the gash on her arm, trying to stem the pain. It doesn't seem to be too deep, but it was bleeding and she had a mild panic attack seeing the wound on herself. The girl wasn't used to being hurt like this and time only made her even more conscious at how hurtful it was, hissing and whimpering from the pain.

She can't stay here. This place is dangerous, she has to get out of here...

...What the hell happened here anyway...?

She doesn't... like what she's seeing... From trying to tend to her wound to the realization of the wreckage around in the shop... No, it wasn't just the shop as she would soon be able to see, the... entire mall was... It's like the remains of a war zone...

It's reminding her too much of the horrible memory of the scenes back in Sumida.

The girl is scared. She needs to get out of here, and she needs to do so fast...

She started making her way, hoping to be able to find the exit amidst all these destruction, and hoping to god nothing else happens...

ZEHAHAHA!!
Today was not a very good day. Having woken up in a foul mood, Kell had been forced to pray at the Hyakuji Shrine at Cariot's insistence. Then when she came back to her dorm, she found Lucid messing around with her cupboards. Madre de Dios, she didn't know what the hell that idiot was doing to her food. But just in case, she had to go buy groceries because there was no way in hell she'd trust Lucid to leave those supplies untainted.

And now Hiro Tsukasa was attacking the mall.

Damn it.

"Out. Everybody, get the fuck out." Kell didn't raise her voice, nor did she sound angry. No, she knew it was pointless to fight. If they tried to resist, they'd be killed on the spot. On the side of good, Hiro was a damned strong guardian.

Right now? He was certain death in a 5'9 package. Flee or die. His absolute, unstoppable strength closed off all other options. The mall couldn't be protected. A lot of civilians were going to die. But right now, she had to get as many as she could out of harm's way. There was not even a 1% chance of them actually managing to defeat him.

"Rank SSS danger. He'd turn on us eventually, just like they said...." She muttered to herself, so beyond scared that she was numb. She started evacuating as many people as she could, trying to shepard them to safety.

"Yo, pumpkin hair. Move quick and quiet. This way." Kell called out to Sena, her voice subdued as she looked to make sure Hiro wasn't about to atomize them.

A few hours ago Jason had come to the mall to purchase parts for a little project he had been working on recently, a suitcase sized box he carried under one arm as he walked around the mall window shopping a bit before heading home, that was until all hell broke loose.

Jason loved this school so far there was never a dull moment which was just absolutely great. So for now he just calmly walked about the mall hoping too run into the villain responsible but not too focused on it at the moment, that is until he noticed something terrible. This monster had commited the worst crime of all in his mind, DESTROYING THE FOOD COURT !

The boy looked around for some kind of weapon he could use when he found the perfect thing for the situation. Sitting down his mystery box, patting it and assuring it he'd return to pick it up, after all if a normal weapon didn't work what was in the box would become necessary later. Jason lifted up his new weapon in one hand, this being a soda machine and began striding to the overlook of the second floor he was on looking down to see his opponent.

This was slightly distressing actually when he noticed, someone he actually recognized from the little bit of a briefing Zero gave him, someone even his bosses knew as a powerful force. Jason took his weapon in both hands landing rather clumsily on the ground near Jack and turning to laugh to him.

"We always seem to end up in the same fun situations don't we ?"

He asked grinning away then turning his attention to the teacher.

"Ehh not really people turn evil all the time...more importantly how much detention will I get for hitting a teacher with a vending machine ?"

"Ho....what's this....?"

A voice sounded above the students, looking down on them as they stood in awe and confusion in regards to the chaos unfolding before them right now. Leaning against some of the destroyed railing on the floor above them all, stood a familiar face to some. A somewhat impish grin was on the young man's face, as he continued to just glance down at the situation unfolding.

"Why? What's the meaning of this? So much confusion indeed, you really are surprised, aren't you all?" Damon questioned, shaking his head at these people. "It should be obvious. This town IS rotting after all. It's made so many people battle hungry. Better to tear it down now, than let it fester and make worse people."

...First Hiro, now Damon? What was going on here? These two, they were very different people in their walks of life, but one thing unified them: Their undying need to protect this city. And yet here they were, causing ridiculous levels of destruction to the mall. "I do sincerely hope you're not foolish enough to try to stop him. That would be ever so bothersome." Damon said, snapping his fingers. In various points in the air, above the would-be defenders, spears of darkness manifested, bladed sections pointed down on them. "I'd prefer not to let this get violent. But I'll do what I must to ensure this is done."

"Oh I'm making an example," Hiro scoffed at Jack's joking on the matter, "That's for certain." The majority among the group that had gathered asked the obvious question. One that the famed Hyakuji Teacher seemed intent on addressing immediately; or he was. With a loud crash, the skylight above the food court shattered in as a new combatant came hurling into the fray with no regard for conversation.

Without diverting a gaze, magical energy began to wrap itself around one of Hiro's hands with a carefully timed flail of his hand upwards, he met his falling attacker directly, the impact of the magically-charged spell deflecting the strike and sending his foe careening into one of the various restaurants that circled the food court. Laughing a little softly noting Damon's arrival, Hiro cleared his throat.

"As I was trying to say," he continued using the playful tone he tended to hold when facing a serious threat to lighten the mood before breaking into a full on shout, "LISTEN UP! I'M ONLY GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS ONCE!!!" Hiro's voice boomed throughout the mall. Even those outside could suddenly hear his words; it was as if some spell were amplifying his voice.

"All of you," Hiro spoke with disgust, "Every single one of you here... and elsewhere in the city... are unfit to call yourselves defenders or protectors of Hyakuji! And WE are tired of it."

"The way you are now," Hiro continued booming forth his declaration of war, "You can't protect anything; only bring further ruin. And that's going to come to an end right now. I thought I could teach some of you... that we could teach all of you... to harness your potential and do something great with the gifts you have been given. But now I see that I was foolish to ever believe in that."

"The mall has been evacuated," Hiro explained lowering his voice back to normal levels, "Within just a few moments there will be no innocents left to get wrapped up in any crossfire. I'm going to level this Mall, for starters, then we'll see about the rest of this failed city. And you don't have the power to stop me. You never have. It was a sheer fluke of reality that things were turned back from the brink of oblivion only weeks ago! You don't have the power to stop or help anyone or anything."

"Struggle if you must~" Hiro teased as he held forth both hands and began charging spheres of magical energy, "But consider class in session. I'm about to teach you all a very painful lesson!" Without another word, the Magus crossed both arms sending the blasts off to his left and right. Each one hurtling towards one of the few undamaged restaurants within the food court.

Dawn listened in shock towards both Damon and Hiro, they were saying the town was rotting. As they spoke she couldn't help but feel a twinge of conscience, it was obvious that what happened with the creature that time ago was what they meant. The defenders had almost managed to convince it to stop but some of them had continued attacking and killed the being, they had a point that the town was becoming extremely bloodthirsty of late.

Even Dawn herself couldn't be excluded from the growing darkness of violence, she had made a contract with Dusk after all. Still, even with all that she didn't want Hyakuji to go. This was the only place that she could safely call home, the only place where she had friends that accepted her for who she was. She didn't want to lose any of that and regardless of whether she would be proving them right or whether she would lose herself along the way. She wasn't going to let that go.

"You might be right." Dawn quietly mumbled barely audible. From what she had seen and they had spoken she couldn't disagree completely. "But that doesn't mean that i'm going to roll over and let the only home I've ever had just be destroyed because you feel like we aren't the best people we could be." Dawn shouted, she was holding back tears as she made her feelings apparent.

"There are some of us that have no where else to go, who found hope and a chance for a new life in Hyakuji away from the shadows of our pasts." Staring at her opponents with regret Dawn made her decision. "I can't let this town be destroyed. Even if it costs me my life I have to protect my home, otherwise I won't have anything left." It was a stupid decision but one that Dawn had made nonetheless, she knew that she stood literally no chance against Hiro or Damon individually and not the two of them together.

She had made her choice though and as dumb as it was, she was going to put her life on the line to protect her new home. Noting the spear Dawn realized that she'd have to get rid of that first to even try and do anything else. Having a look around it seemed like the rest of the people who arrived also had spears above their heads, that would drastically reduce people's options.

It seemed like the intelligent thing to do would be to try and deal with all the spears straight away so that others could act. Conjuring a multitude of crystals Dawn sent them flying towards the spears, hopefully they would disrupt the spears and prevent them from skewering the respective targets of the spears. She silently hoped that the others could somehow stop the blasts aiming for more destruction.

If things werent already bad, then they just got even worse. Looking up he saw another all too familiar face. For a second he felt relieved that Damon would be helping....but he was wrong! Whatever was happening to Hiro was happening to Damon as well.

"No! Not you too Damon! Whats wrong with you two!?! You love this city! You fought to protect it! Your the heroes of this city and now your just gonna turn your backs on it?!"
Said Kaito screaming at the top of his lungs. For a moment he stood there in silence while Hiro gaves his loud message. He didnt know what to think anymore.

"Fine...if your gonna abandon Hyakuji, so be it." Said Kaito in a serious tone. "But I wont! I shall protect this city and all the peoplewho live in it! There are also others out there who will fight! My friends and your students!" Kaito let his voice ring across the destroyed food court.

"I dont know whats gotten into you two but be sure off one thing!" Kaito cracked his two whips loud enough for it yo echo through the mall. "Im gonna beat some sense into you two!!!!"

As soon as Hiro fired his two blasts Kaito started running straight down the middle towards Hiro. As soon as he was close enough Kaito would attempt to wrap Hiro up with both whips or at least distracting him long enough for the others to help

There was just one small problem with Hiro using both hands to fire off those beams, it left him completely exposed against incoming small objects the size of a pin, launched hard and fast at his face. Of course, the object in question was a tiny, reduced in size rubber superball, but propelled strongly with heavy arm force towards him, followed by a sudden, yet fast beam of pure light right behind it.

Simply put, the tiny, little rubber ball was mere inches away from hitting Hiro at high speed, probably not much of a threat at first, but given the irriated, dusty size mage that just awkwardly pulled himself out of the rubble that was the roof, crouched down and hid behind a nearby semi-destroyed pillar, it was generally a major threat in general. Namely, the enchantment he whispered to himself as his left hand glowed faintly with his dark magical aura, ready to fire once the ball was point-blank to Hiro's lousy skull with a well-timed, precisely aimed pitch.

"Enlargement. Target: Rubber Superball. Original size: 1/8" W, 1/8" H, 3/8" L. . Change to 20' W, 20' L, 20' H."

Yep, Shad was about to essentially crush and bowl over Hiro full force with this attack, despite the fact he'll need to recharge his mana reserves right after which may take a bit. But quite frankly, he didn't care who he hit since the falling rubble destroyed his perfectly good ham sandwich. Even if it meant splattering his homeroom teacher, he would get revenge for the food wasted. He figured the others could handle the beam attacks since he wasn't certain if his tungsten cubes could effectively block them.
