A small smirk crossed Serenity's face when she saw Heleth check outside the room. She had to admit though that the sheer coincidence was mind boggling. So many people had expressed interest in joining the Disciplinary Committee so soon after it was put forth that people could join it, not that Serenity was going to question it beyond that. Serenity sat down on the couch opposite of Shin, she had as much curiosity about how this would play out as well. Everyone seemed to have these fancy ideas of why rules were in place but given the question that Heleth asked it wasn't all that suprising. It was the kind of question that would end up with vague philosophical answers rather then hard and concrete ones. The fact that they were still on trial piqued Serenity's interest, it seemed even with the satisfactory answers that they gave and the powers they weren't entirely trusted. That was fair enough, given the situation any one of them could be potentially going for the committee just for the sake of having the extra power that it gave. Seated quietly she observed the newcomers, their answers were quite run of the par really. She had to wonder what kind of potential both of them had, however she'd sooner or later find that out if they ended up joining the committee. |

"Hmm...good enough." Heleth seemed less willing to repeat her opinion on rules a secon time to the two girls. "More than anything else, Rules are a necessary mean to achieve a goal." For the second time, the demoness walked to the President's desk, and took two more forms, but, before giving them to the two students, she asked them "What about your abilities? What can you do to support the school rules and help the committee?" |

"Well my abilities are like this, I'm a expert at martial arts that's a given, i can also read lips from a far and i'm a jack of all trades that can fix pretty much anything from a toaster oven to a firetruck i also have a tail so that's four things" said Renga bluntly with some humor wagging her monkey tail. "I'm willing to help in any way I can, I hate seeing people get bullied and I'll do anything I can to stop it. I can fix stuff or demonstrate my arts on people that need to learn their spot I'll follow your orders and up hold the rules" she said a bit more serious. |

"It should be quite apparent to anyone who has met me that I am a koto player. I suppose my skills in a noble art could be used to raise overall respect for the committee, or at least among those at this school of the patriciate." Sakurayami eyed the form that the committee president had taken out but not given. She silently praised the level of distrust Heleth seemed to have of every applicant, but hoped that it would show more on her face, so that the others would be more comfortably tense. "My other ability being entirely unrelated to my playing might be a useful advantage in some context. It seems that there is a phenomenon where those in my vicinity experience feelings of regret and tension, particularly when I am in connection with the spiritual world. As an example, you could use my ability to decrease the likelihood of repeat offenders significantly. I'm sure the President can find other useful applications?" |

Serenity glanced as the two newcomers explained their strengths, one was a martial arts expert and seemed to be quite handy in fixing things and the other had some sort of emphatic like ability. Both could become handy in the appropriate situations, whether those situations arose or not however was anyone's guess. Sitting quietly Serenity mentally wondered about how coincidental it was that everyone had gathered so quickly. Apparently people were just bored and had nothing better to do and were quick on the uptake. Regardless, the more people that joined the committee meant the more people on duty at a time which meant the more ground that they could cover. Theoretically with the 6 people that were in the room they would each have a reasonable but not totally ridiculous area of space that they could cover. It all depended on how Heleth decided to work with the areas if that was what she decided. Serenity was mainly sticking around to see if there was anything that she had planned in terms of how they were going to work, such as shifts or particular areas. |

Martial Arts? Good. Lip reading? Hmm...that could be very useful. Repair skills? Useful as well. A monkey tail? not so sure, but maybe handy. Heleth nodded with a slight frown as she heard about Renga's powers, before turning her attention to Sakurayami. The dual layered eyes of the demon moved from the monkey-tailed girl to the koto player. Apparently, the musician had some sort of aura power that could influence negatively people, instilling them feelings of regret. Oh, that would be extremely useful to enforce some discipline! "Well, well" she said, as she crossed her arms as she waited for the two to fill up the papers she gave "just as I said to the others, you will not be full fledged members of the committee until next month. Until then me and the Vice President Shad Hornswell will keep an eye out for your behaviour to confirm your acceptance into the council." Heleth paused for a while and pondered a bit before adding "Another thing, valid for all of you. Repeated absences and inactivity will have you expelled from the committee. This isn't place for slackers!" Edited by Sota, Aug 25 2014, 03:54 PM.
