As soon as lessons ended, the red little demon known as Heleth Mastema left her class with a small pile of flyers.
Her Jade hair was worn mostly loose, except for two small braids for sidelocks.

She walked through the hallways, up to the main entrance and stopped in front of the notice board in the room.
It was filled with all kinds of different notices, some more important than others.

Heleth frowned a little, but managed to find some empty space. Some notices were rather old too, she took note about complaining to people for not cleaning that up.
At any rate, she quickly slammed one of the flyers on the board, before skipping away.

The Head Prefect of the student council began to trot through the whole school building, stopping in front of every notice board of the structure, and posting up one of the flyers.

The school was big enough to waste a good amount of time, but that was for some superior good!
To the curious people looking at the flyers they could read the following text printed on it.

Do you value rules and safety?
Join the discipline committee!

Rules are here for a reason! They're a necessary mean to achieve order and quiet living! They're here for everybody's sake! Help upholding them!

Do you want to protect your classmates and your school? Do you feel like it's worth fighting for them?
Join the discipline committee!

Dangers are an ever present threat here in Hyakuji! Show your heroic spirit! Help fighting them!

The Discipline Committee's room can be found on the first floor of the Main Building! If you're interested in joining, please look for Heleth Mastema or Shad Hornswell!

"There!" she said as the last flyer was affixed "Now, tea!"

Spinning on her heels, the jade haired student headed for the closest vending machine.

"Heeeellllloooooo." Mused a young demon hunter, examining a flyer that was pinned to a notice board. Value rules and safety..... yada yada yada...... protect your classmate and your school.... look for Heleth Mastema or Shad Hornswell.

Shin stood back from the board. Putting his hand on his chin, he considered the offer the flyer presented. On one hand, he did consider himself a fan of rules and agreed that they were there to protect people. If someone were to guess his alignemnt Shin would rest somewhere between Lawful Good and Lawful Neutral. And it was his job to defend others.
On the other hand........ there was nothing. He didn't really have any objections to the discipline committee. And he did really need to join a club. He considered music, but this seems better suited to Shin's other talents.

Making up his mind, Shin decided to attempt to tack down one of the two people listed on the flyer.
Spinning on his heel Shin closed his eyes expanding his senses. He knew Heleth by sight due to the girl's role as the head prefect. It also wasn't that had to tell that the girl was a demon. So Shin used his ever-useful (not really this is the first time I've actually written him using it properly) ability to sense demons to find the mint-haired demoness.

He found her quickly enough. Walking up behind her Shin tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me Mastema-san." He asked, smiling brightly. "Would you be the right person to ask about joining this discipline committee?"

Walking past the notice board Serenity stopped for a moment, something had caught her eye. She hadn't gotten herself into any extracurricular activities at the school simply because there was nothing that had particularly interested her. Of course the fact that she could get a job at any point in time also helped her to dissuade that course of action but it was something that she did want to do.

Reading over the flier that had been placed there her interest was piqued. The Disciplinary committee was something that sounded right up her alley. Sure, her job technically involved doing things which were technically illegal but she followed her rules to the letter and it had always proven to be the best course of action regardless of the circumstance.

The Disciplinary Committee was definetly something that piqued her interest, taking not she considered for a moment. She didn't know either of the people that were mentioned on the note but there was also a location. The Discipline Committee's room, she took note of the location before setting off there. It seemed like joining was top priority on her mind, she had nothing else to do so she could at least wait there until she ran into one of the two people that were mentioned on the flyer. The plan seemed all well and good.

Making her way to the room in question she opened the door, she had to admit that they had a pretty impressive setup from the look of it. However the room was empty, that was a problem in and of itself. "Guess I can just wait here." Serenity spoke nonchalantly as she walked into the room. Taking a seat on the couch to the left of the entrance she waited, wondering if she was the only one who was interested in the position.

Heleth yelped in surprise. Of all the places she could be caught off guard, the vending machine was probably one of those.
The red demon desperately focused on the plastic glass with her precious beverage in and motioned her arm in an attempt to balance and prevent it to spill out.
At the same time, her hair reacted instinctively, and moved to push Shin's arm away.

Once her tea was safe, she checked her uniform for spots. Luckily enough, it was clean.
Heleth emitted a sigh of relief, turning with a frowned face toward the voice that asked about the committee.
Heleth's dual layered eyes stared at the blue eyed boy with white hair.
"It's not nice to startle people like that" she observed "But yes, I'm the committee's President, Heleth Mastema"
By simply exposing her status, her frown dissipated, and a friendly smile was now on the demon's face.

The girl took a sip of tea and her mood seemed to improve even further. She didn't expect to find someone interested so soon! She barely finished to post notices around! "If you're here to join the renewed committe, follow me to the committee's room where we can talk a little and formalize your inscription!"

That said she began to trot toward the committee's room, sipping her tea and apparently paying little attention to Shin. Amazingly enough, Heleth looked more focused about tasting her beverage.

"There we are" she said once she stopped in front of the entrance, checking only then if Shin followed her or not.
The red skinned girl opened and entered inside.

The jade demon gave a surprised gaze at the dark haired girl sitting on one of the couches.
"Oh!?"

Her yellow and green eyes studied her. Who was she? Another student that wanted to join? Or maybe a student bullied by her classmates already looking for help? Oh, that could be a good chance to set the committee in motion!
Despite the excitement building up, Heleth maintained a controlled attitude, and invited Shin to enter. After that she asked to the girl sitting there:
"Good Afternoon. This is the Discipline Committee's room. Are you looking to join it or to bring some problems to attention?"

Shin's grin grew when Heleth yelped in surprise and stated that he shouldn't sneak up on others. He wasn't even trying to be sneaky, looks like his training paid off.

"Well then, please lead the way Mastema-san. I'm quite interested in this little committee you are setting up." Shin moved aside to allow the demoness to pass him by.
He was about to ask her a few questions on the way, but paused when he noticed that she was paying more attention to her beverage than him.

He was somewhat surprised to find another student waiting in the committee room. Curious as to whether this student intended to join the committee like him or had a problem that needed to be solved, Shin remained silent. Content to let Heleth question the girl. Shin merely greeted the dark-haired girl with a smile and a flirtatious wink.

Some time passed as Serenity sat looking around the Committee room, she was pretty impressed that there was such a room solely for the committee. She was under the assumption that there wasn't such a need for a big room but it seems that she was wrong. Then again this was a school full of powered kids, the Disciplinary Committee probably needed all the help that it could get to keep everyone in line.

Eventually she heard the door open and saw two individuals walking in, she hadn't actually acquainted herself with either of them and eyed them curiously. If she had to guess she would say that they were probably the members of the committee that were on the fliers, after all it seemed like they had just been put up recently. The chance that other students already applied for it seemed slim at best.

She took note of the girl's strange skin colour but said nothing of it, chances are it was something that was entirely natural in Hyakuji anyways so speaking out about it could be seen as rude or pointless. Serenity wasn't about to waste time on pointless chatter, she decided to get straight to the point.

Standing up she nodded to the arrivals. "I'm here to join the Disciplinary Committee." Straightening herself up she ignored the wink of the boy in front of her, she wanted to make a good first impression. Serenity made a small and respectful bow. "My name is Serenity, it's a pleasure to meet you." She spoke calmly and in a professional tone. She didn't bother asking for the two individual's names as she was sure that they would be willing to share after she had shared her own name.

As Rakutsu was walking through the school to get use to the area he pass by the board of notices. As he was about to walk by it something got his attention. A notice telling anyone that saw it about a club. The disipline committee a club all about rules and sloving problems without violence. Raku gave a few minutes to think about joining. The club would be a good step up to make new friends and to help people without fighting. He didn't give a second tough about it and decide to join.
He then zoom down the halls using superspeed as he kicked up a lot of wind behind him. It didn't take long for him to get to the committee's room. As he got in the room he notice three other people in the room. The one that got his attention was the red skin one with green hair and yellow eyes.
Raku came to a stop in the room as a gust of wind came from behind him and entered the room due to his superspeed. He turned towards the green skined girl and dust his pants while making sure his bandanna was still on. He then put his goggles on his head and started to talk.

"Hello who here do I speak to about join the disipline committee.....OH and I'm sorry for the rude enterence, I wanted to get here as soon as possible,"says in apology

Oh, wow, that was...wow!
So there were polite and educated people somewhere in that school! Serenity's introduction was nothing short than professional, and it certainly made a very good first impression!

Heleth smiled, but that happy mood was very short lived.
As soon as she opened her mouth to introduce herself properly, a gust of wind came from the door, and a person looking like some kind of burglair just dashed in.

If something could be compared to Serenity's flawless introduction, well, that was exactly the opposite.
"Tch!" Heleth snorted in irritation as her dual layered eyes studied the newcomer as she frowned and crossed her arms "The Committee is looking for role models to uphold rules and order. Running through the hallways by using your powers was both reckless and dangerous, and exactly the opposite of what I'm looking for. There's a reason people say you can't run through the hallways. If the pavement was wet, you'd be kissing a wall by now"

Ouch, way to make a bad first impression to Heleth and ruin her mood. Well done Rakutsu...

Oh this was bad, Rakutsu knew this would hurt his chance of getting in the club so, he decided to act fast. He got up took of his bandanna hoping she wouldn't notice his burns and apologizes, while giving small bows that ended at his chest.

" I'm sorry for that miss just getting here as fast as I could it won't happen again,"says apologizing

Shin suppressed a chuckle at Heleth's dressing-down of the newcomer. Seems like someone was off to a bad start.
After hearing that the other boy rushed here because he didn't want to be late Shin piped up. "That's all well and good, but I think you'll find that there's no need to rush things. After all, the rest of us don't have super-speed and we seem to get by just fine." He blinked remembering himself. "And I do believe that I have yet to introduce myself." He walked over to the side of the room so he could face everyone, and gave a grandiose bow. "Nanaya Shin, at your service." He stood up straight and looked to Serenity. "And like Serenity-san here, I'm hoping to join this Committtee that Mastema-san is setting up."

It seemed like her impression was spot on from the smile that the girl was sporting, that was always good. It was in Serenity's best interest to sell herself for the position that she was applying for. Half the requirements were simple presentation and the other half was actual efficiency which she was sure when the time came she would possess. If she could handle the kind of jobs that she received at The Court then she could easily handle whatever could be thrown at her from the Disciplinary Committee.

She took note of the arrival of a speedster, it seemed like he was in quite a rush if he had to use his powers to get to the committee room. Her curiosity over whether it was another student wanting to join or if it was someone seeking help was quickly answered when he also expressed interest in joining.

Despite his somewhat amusing lack of knowing the rules he wanted to preserve Serenity could see advantages in having a speedster, having someone who could quickly get to an area prior to the rest of them was always good. While she was thinking about the situation she tuned in to hearing the girl she assumed now was the head of the Disciplinary Committee, calling the boy out on his own disregard to the rules.

The other boy that had arrived with Heleth had introduced himself as well as herself to the new arrively. Giving the boy a small nod she thought about the situation for a second. It was possible to resolve this situation with potentially all sides ending up winning, of course it all depended on how the Committee head saw and decided on it but there was no harm in pointing out the method.

"Excuse me." Serenity started speaking, maintaining a professional demeanor. "Whilst I am by no means a member of the Disciplinary Committee yet, I believe this situation could be easily resolved." She started to explain her opinion on the matter, while the boy's membership didn't matter that much to her Serenity felt like this was a good opportunity to prove her efficiency at negotiating.

Considering the Disciplinary Committee had to enforce the rules she felt like that would be an important skill for her to be using in the position. "If you do take him on as a member not only can you properly teach him to respect the rules and his ability which I am assuming is enhanced speed would allow him to arrive to any potential scenes with extreme swiftness." She raised her hand to her chin and began to rest on it looking over towards Heleth. "Of course this is simply my perspective on the matter." She was simply trying to display her ability to mediate a conversation, if she wanted to deny him then there wasn't anything she could do against it or that she would do against it.

Heleth was clearly about to complain some more to the brigand looking student. She could not care any less about the reason that had him cover his face, but it certainly wasn't helping to have her like him. Well at least he had the school uniform on!

Luckily, her reply was interrupted by Shin. The boy had a few words for the brigand before introducing himself and expressing his interest for the committee.

The brigand pretty much did the same.

Serenity then proposed to take the brigand inside the club so that she could properly teach him how to behave and at the same time take advantage of his speed.

"Hrmph."
Right, she could use the chance to put some sense into that kid's head, but the committee's reputation would easily be ruined by such an impulsive person. Because that was the impression Heleth had of Rakutsu, that of an impulsive speedster.
His abilities could be a good asset, obviously, but she wasn't so willing to become responsible of an impulsive rulebreaker.

"We'll see" she simply stated, looking away.

"I'm Heleth Mastema" she said then "Head Prefect of the Student Council and President of the renewed Discipline Committee. I see you came here to join this club to help maintain peace and regulation inside Hyakuji High, and I laude your good intentions"
She reserved an annoyed gaze at the speedster.
"But first I have to be sure you're fitting for the role you want to assume."

That said, she took a deep breath, closed her eyes and asked "So, what do rules represent for you?"

"What do rules mean to me?" Shin asked himself. He broke into a wide smile. "Well I hope you forgive me for being unoriginal Mastema-san. But we seem to share the same view on them." He his voice took on a more serious note. "Laws, school rules and codes of honour all exist to help both guide and protect others. Without order there can be no civilisation."

His voice dropped its serious edge and returned to its more playful tone. "And as to why I wanted to join this committee. Well, I am the kind of person who doesn't have a problem with helping others. And this seemed like a good place to do so." He stopped with his explanation and looked at Heleth, studying her face to see if his speech had any impact. "I hope that is satisfactory for you Mastema-san."

"School rules are smaller forms of laws that help everyone. From my view on them they help us see who are the trouble makers and who are well behaved based on who follows them, but that's my view on them," he said as he hung his head low and in a shy voice.

"The reason I want to be a part of this committee is because I want to learn to solve other peoples problems without violence, I see too much of it already."
