Knowledge is power, or so they say. Being who she was, even if she barely remembered little more than her own name, Vert was inclined to be one of the people saying that. Unfortunately... her aches and pains hadn't entirely gone away, and she'd slept poorly the night before. She'd taken a book about amnesia from the shelves, hoping to divine some way to fix it.

Vert wasn't terribly interested in psychology. While as a goddess, she'd have endorsed any progress in psychological research, that didn't mean she had any personal interest in it. She had much greater interest in magic and technology, especially prospects of combining the two.

She found herself nodding off a bit, and decided that she'd need to find a way to better focus. With a flash of light, she changed into her war form. Although she didn't summon her spear, her eyes glowed blue and her irises and pupil were replaced by a strange symbol. Perhaps more noticeable to most people, she was wearing an odd suit that barely covered what had to, although some might recognize it to be channeling some sort of magic.

Dragan had been... sleeping. Though, rather uncomfortably and several aisles away, his back bent at an awkward angle, his face resting against a book. His eyes would open up suddenly as a flash of light barely peaking around a corner to reach him. He would blink for a moment before suddenly sitting up, his back crackling and he took a deep, ragged, and sudden breath. The entire movement much akin to a zombie realizing that it was alive and humans around to eat.

Did he... forget to breath again...? Perhaps the light was the end of that tunnel so many people seemed to mention. Looking down and patting himself he would come to an answer... No... still immortal. With a small sigh he would push out from the table and stand. An heavy slouch coming over him from the way he had slept as he walked, arms raised ever so slightly and hair covering his eyes, giving him a rather lurky appearance.

Slowly, Dragan made his way through the well memorized halls of his library attempting to find the source of the light. It wasn't long until he found a girl wearing rather odd clothing, he didn't care much for it, rather what DID surprise him was the fact that it seemed to radiate magic, those old wizard eyes of his seeing it like a neon light. Frowning somewhat he would take slow quiet steps closer to her standing behind her back so as not to obstruct her reading. Those clothes... they could make such lovely experiments...

Not wanting to be rude in his own library, he would whisper, his voice still raspy and grumbling from his sleep. "You, take off your clothes..." what if they were dangerous from the magic...? he thought to himself cautiously before adding. "Slowly..." Dragan probably had not a single clue how that actually sounded, his lack of human social convention leaving him completely oblivious to what was proper interaction or not.

Ordinarily, Vert would have blushed deeply, called him a pervert, stuttered, proclaimed that she wasn't that kind of girl, and proclaim that she didn't even swing that way. However, as Vert was in her war form, her personality was quite a bit different. Her blue eyes glowing, she calmly sighed, and told him "Tch. Pervert." Ironically, despite the fact that Vert had spent her life in a room playing a game, she knew quite a bit about the human world, enough to pass for one, even. The game, after all, was rooted in manipulating the human world.

Setting her book on amnesia down, she looked at him with her glowing blue eyes, and told him in a cold, irritated tone "I'm not that kind of girl. 'Romance' some bimbo, find some slut on the street who will 'sell' to you, whatever. What you do with an easily-impressed, consenting girl is none of my business. If your only purpose to approach me is sexual gratification, then you severely overestimate your own charms."

"And if you still aren't convinced, even if I was that type, I don't even swing that way." Vert had no interest in men, so even if Dragan was a real Casanova, he wouldn't have had any chance with her.

Dragan just blinked slightly beneath his messy hair stepping back slightly from the suddenly enraged woman, his mouth opening up slightly in a small frown. She seemed mad... very... very mad... he wasn't quite sure why though... maybe she used her clothes to hid some terrible skin disorder... not that they hid much of her skin to begin with.

After a few more blinks, and once she was done yelling, Dragan finally responded. "What... are you talking about...? Your clothing is magical, I wish to see it." Perhaps she was just possessive of her garments and couldn't bare to part with them. He'd heard stories of people bonding with clothing, but that was a subject for another time, he now had more questions for her, a few more quandaries.

"I also don't have any interest in purchasing indentured females... and... what is a sloot? and a bumbo...?" He tilted his head slightly, in an almost near adorable puppy dog way... he really was completely clueless as to the source of her outburst, let alone what she meant by any of it.

In her normal form, Vert might have laughed. She didn't have much of a sense of humor in her war form, instead being far more focused on the task at hand. She rolled her eyes slightly at his ignorance. Had she still possessed her memories, she might have found it ironic that a goddess who had spent most of her 2300 years playing a game had a better understanding human society than the librarian did.

"I have no interest in lending one of my most noteworthy possessions to someone I just met. Especially my clothes." she explained. In theory, she might be able to make another one; she understood the principals it worked on, and even some of the mechanics; however, she was a bit sketchy on the details. She put the book down, the title being a psychology book on amnesia.

With a flash of light, she reverted back to her normal form, although she didn't look like she'd slept well the prior night "I wouldn't mind just taking about the magical technology I use though." her tone hand manner of speaking had changed dramatically, and her eyes looked like normal human eyes now. She also seemed a good deal more friendly.
