Rikina was freaked out at first due to Dawn seeming to go back and forth between behavior, and was rather concerned for the girl's mental health... and when you're acting crazy enough to draw Rikina's concern, it was serious. She did, however, eventually realize that the poor girl was sharing her body with the thing. It... wasn't precisely part of the contract, at least from what she heard of. Now, Rikina knew she couldn't exactly fight the demon, but she might be able to at least convince it to give Dawn dominance. She nodded "Believe me, I do some good things that people would get super angry if I told them." She paused for a moment, before continuing "But you miiiight want to let her have most of the control. Cause if people see you and Dawn switching control like that, they might think you're a little crazy. Which would make things a lot harder for both of you." She doubted people would jump to demonic possession, but still "You don't mind if I mention this to my girlfriend though, do you? It's just that me and her have a little secret thing we like to do, and I was thinking we might invite Dawn one night." The more the merrier, right? Hey, maybe they could start their own Justice League or something! |

The creature nodded Dawn's head, it seemed like he agreed with Rikina's opinion. If it was apparent that there was another being in the girl there was more then likely a high chance that it would be mistaken as forced demonic possession. That could end up quite problematic for the both of them if anyone took it upon themselves to try and unbind them and to destroy the contract. "A reasonable opinion." When Rikina inquired if she could tell her girlfriend Dawn frowned for a moment, delving into thought. After a few moments a response was decided upon. "One person should be well within acceptable reason." They needed Rikina's co-operation so allowing her to tell her partner was something that was acceptable enough. Suddenly the frown was replaced with a sigh. "This is going to be hard to deal with." This time it seemed likely that Dawn had joined back into the conversation. "Well, it'll be hard to deal with both of us in here if you don't have an appropriate name." Dawn thought for a few moments about what to call the being in her. Clapping her hands together Dawn came up with an idea. "I know, we'll call you Dusk." She said smiling, she thought it was quite the excellent name. "I'll assume that your secret thing involves activities that most would find unsavoury?" Dawn asked raising an eyebrow inquisitively. It didn't seem like there would be any other situation in which she was hunting down cultists in the dark of night. Especially considering she seemed to have no remorse about ending them, not that Dawn could complain about the death of a couple of murderous cultists. |

After a moment, Rikina smiled, giggled, and told them "Oh, I get it!" as if she had been told a joke. Dawn's demonic companion was going to be called Dusk! Dawn and Dusk! Rikina thought it was rather clever of them. "Yep." Rikina replied to the demon promptly and cheerfully "Don't worry, me and her are still the good guys though". Rikina's tone held a certain bit of conviction to it, although it was more characteristic of someone who felt committed to a cause when not currently engaged in it. In Rikina's case, said conviction was that criminals deserved a knife in their back. Seeing them going back and forth audibly, she decided it might make sense to give them a little hint "You knoow, if you're sharing a body, you're probably sharing a head. So, why doncha guys just communicate with thoughts. I think. You two can do that, right?" It made enough sense to her, but she was an empath and a knife fighter, not a demonologist. |

When Rikina inquired as to whether they shared the same thoughts or not Dawn became quiet for several moments. She tried to see if she could hear Dusk's thoughts but to no avail, it seemed like while all their sense were tied the one thing that wasn't was their thoughts. Dawn smiled, she was really happy that she at least got to keep her thoughts to herself. She assumed that if she couldn't hear Dusk's thoughts then Dusk couldn't hear hers. "I can't hear Dusk's thoughts in my head." Dawn spoke still with the smile, while it made it more annoying because they had to communicate by speaking which would make Dawn seem like a crazy person it also meant she got to keep some privacy. "Can you hear mine Dusk?" Dawn asked Dusk and went silent, a few moments later it had seemed like Dusk had taken over the body again. "I do not believe shared thoughts are a result of the contract." It was quick and to the point. A person's thoughts did not involve their senses so it stood to reason that it would not be in part of the contract that they had made. Dusk decided it was time to submerge for now and let Dawn control her body once more. Sighing in annoyance at Dusk's ability to control her body Dawn straightened herself up. She wasn't going to lie, Rikina's offer seemed to bode ill. Even if they were the 'good guys' her actions to the cultists had shown that she had little remorse. Granted Dawn couldn't exactly say she was brimming with it either, she was however on a slippery slope and wasn't sure if she could hold on if she took Rikina up on her offer. Still, Rikina was the only one who currently knew about her contract with Dusk, it would be wise to keep on her good side lest she spreads the information around. "I guess you can color me intrigued, in regards to your previous proposal of course." Dawn said with a smile, even if she didn't fully believe in the cause it would probably keep Rikina happy and satisfied and her secret safe. |

So the inability to share thoughts made it more difficult to be subtle. Well, that was inconvenient in some ways, although perhaps Dawn appreciated the privacy. "Yay!" Rikina cheered, quickly clapping three times in excitement. It was nice having a thing both her and Kell liked to do, but bringing in someone else meant more justice. More villains dead, being able to take on stronger enemies, it was clearly worth inquiring with Kell whether to trust Dawn; after all, Dawn had already helped them once. Rikina nodded "Well, if we are all good, I'll see you later! I need to go back home and think about stuff!" Rikina told her. Well, that and talk to Kell about what she'd seen tonight. Unfortunately, she'd already seen one casualty tonight. Edited by Tzauri, Aug 5 2014, 12:05 PM.
