It had been a while since she went on one of these sorts of missions, granted this wasn't an official mission given to her by Bishop but was one that she needed to do nonetheless. Serenity with her gauntlets on as always was wondering around the school grounds getting to know the layout of the school. She had decided that she had to find out the quickest possible ways to her classes and anything less than the quickest was simply unacceptable.

So far she had gotten to known pretty much every inch apart from the other dorm rooms of Fudo, she decided that she needn't bother with Yuki or Yoshima since she would not have any reasoning to go in them and they were probably identical to Fudo more or less. However this still left the rest of the school that needed to be observed and analyzed, it was definetly a large school but with no past experience that she could remember Serenity wasn't sure how large the school was. There were plenty of buildings and having three dorms on campus was surely large though.

Serenity dodged out of the way of several students walking past her, she was still surprised at how carefree everyone seemed. She was pretty much always on her guard and expecting something or someone that could be dangerous, the contrast was amazing to her.

"Better take a break here, don't want to exhaust myself to much." Serenity spoke as she took a seat on a nearby bench. While seated she began to tinker with her gauntlets, after the events of her first day she was honestly surprised that they were so durable, she'd have to thank the R&D department for giving her advanced gear such as this. They did an amazing job on the gauntlets for sure, then again she had hit things harder then a wall before.

"Hmm?" Serenity raised an eyebrow inquisitively as she noticed a bag on the ground near the bench. She was surprised that she didn't notice this as she was making her way to take a rest on the bench. On inspecting the bag she found out nothing, she didn't know who the bag belonged to or anything about it. Out of respect for the owner of the bag she decided not to look at it's contents even though that would give her a more valuable clue.

"Guess I can't leave it here." Standing up she took the bag with her and began to question various students she came across whether or not it was their bag. All of them declined, she had to wonder what kind of irresponsible student would leave behind their bag, in a mission leaving behind your equipment meant either death or failure. "Is this your bag?" She continued to ask explaining the situation. After about thirty minutes she sat back down on the bench tired, it seemed like no one knew whose bag it was. "Where can the owner possibly be?" Serenity posed the question aloud.

Owen let out a sigh looking around him at the seemingly endless campus grounds around him. After a long trip he had spent the previous day just trying to find his room and since he had left said room today he now couldn't find his way back. But hey finding his way back wasn't necessary if he could find something better to explore, unfortunately right now everything seemed so vast and open that he couldn't find anything. There was only one solution of course, find some higher ground and get a good look around the area around him. Fortunately with his speed it shouldn't take too long to find somewhere like that he'd just find and climb a really tall tree, but as he prepared to run his backpack shifted and hit him in the back reminding him off something.

Owen thought for a minute, if he did this now his pack would definitively slow him down, and since there wasn't anything too important in it he could just place it somewhere around him. Looking around and finding a nice tree to place it at the base of a tree in the nice shade, and hey if by some off chance someone did steal the bag it would probably make a pretty interesting situation to explore. Owen set down the bag took a few steps away from it, turning and pointing his finger at it as someone would a pet or child. "Now you stay here." He ordered the bag before getting a rather quizical look and laughing to himself. "What am I doing telling a pack to stay it doesn't even have any legs...yet" He said suspiciously to himself before turning and running off in the opposite direction leaving behind his bag.

After a short time running around and getting a slightly better handle on his new school's grounds he headed back to his bag but quickly realized it was gone. "A HAH I knew it, it was about to grow legs !" He shouted before thinking on it for a minute "Or y'know maybe somebody just took it." So off he went dashing around looking for where his bag may have gone until darting by a girl he spotted it with and stopping in his tracks a few feet away from her and turning around to face her. "Hey you found my bag ! It didn't happen to have legs when you found it did it ?"

Serenity looked at the boy who had claimed the bag as his. The question he followed up with was equally strange, what kind of bag had legs to begin with. To be fair though, it was Hyakuji so a bag that happened to have legs would literally be the least shocking thing to have happened to her so far. It probably would've gotten a confused sigh out of her before she acted like she did when the bag didn't have legs.

"No, it didn't happen to have legs." Serenity responded as she stood up handing the bag over to the boy. "Is it supposed to?" She posed the question to the boy running her free hand through her hair. Since she was helping if it did have legs then she'd have to help him find the legs of the bag. Though it did raise an odd question, what would legs for a backpack look like? Serenity wondered for a moment before snapping out of it.

"If you need help finding them I can assist you." She offered her assistance to find the legs of a backpack which may or may not exist. Definitely wasn't the way she was expecting her day to turn out. However she did say that she would find the owner of the bag and if the bag was missing parts then she had to help find them as well, despite how crazy the whole situation was turning out.

Owen took his bag begging to rummage around in it right away. He looked back at her from his bag and shook his head at the initial question then tilted his head before going back to rummaging around in the bag "Ehhh no but you never know with backpacks I've never really seen one with legs but once you've come across a sentient one you never really trust them, they're kind of jerks." Owen finally obviously found what he was looking for in his bag flashing a giant grin when he did. Inside the bag he unzipped a hidden pouch and dramatically pulled out what appeared to be a dusty old tome holding it high above his head.

Now that he found what he wanted and made his dramatic pose he pulled the book back down to his side and threw his backpack back on his back with the other hand and flipped open the book to an early page nodding a few times then looking back at her "Okay so first off I need to pay you back for finding my pack. So what's the customary payment for that kind of thing ?" He asked the guide's rules required paying people back for kindness, and hey maybe she'd want something weird and he'd get to go find it that could be fun !

Serenity raised an eyebrow at the boy, apparently the bag was not supposed to have legs. That was something that she could say on her own, without needing to see the backpack first. Regardless he seemed to be a bit suspicious and bordering on paranoid around bags, considering the environment of Hyakuji that was more reasonable then it seemed, after all there was probably weirder things then backpacks which had legs.

"I see." She responded matter of factly, she wasn't about to get into a conversation about whether or not back packs were supposed to have legs or if they were supposed to be sentient or if they were kind of jerks or not. It seemed like a conversation that would lead into full blown crazy town and she didn't want to take that trip just yet.

When he offered recompense her eyes sparkled. "Well, you could always treat me to lunch." She smirked, while she was by no means thirsting for money or food it was always nice to get a free meal out of someone. "Unless you don't want to." The smirk still on her face, she wasn't about to force the guy to treat her to food if he didn't really want to. That was completely uneeded, she waited to see the boy's response to her suggestion.

Owen made note of the slight perplexment he may have caused with the girl. Was this all a test or had he encountered such things before or maybe he was just crazy hard to tell really. This was a certain matter that came up often and even he remained unsure of it. One thing on the other hand was certain as soon as the word 'lunch' was brought up his eyes lit up and a giant grin formed across his face, food sounded great ! Particularly because it had now been almost an hour since he last ate anything and that bag he just went through didn't seem to have any snacks in it anymore. The boy quickly began nodding quickly still grinning away before stopping and giving a bit of a frown.

"Umm you'll have to point the way though I haven't exactly been here long."

Resting her chin on her hand Serenity thought for a while. There were a few places that they could potentially go and most of the options were rather solid choices for food. After a few moments of silence in which she thought she eventually decided on a place. With a sly smirk across her face she glanced at the boy that was offering her food.

"There is a interesting cafe in the downtown area." Serenity began to speak, the smirk didn't leave her face. It was almost like she was hiding something from the boy. "I've heard that it's a good establishment to visit every once in a while if you are up for it."

What she had neglected to mention was the fact that it was a maid cafe, she wasn't sure if the boy in front of her would be one of the ones that would gladly go to a maid cafe or one of the ones that would find it awkward to go. Either way it should provide Serenity with a bit of entertainment and she had some free time to kill off anyways. Especially considering she had spent time trying to find whoever owned the backpack in the first place.
