Woosh-Woosh! Remi Au Lait!
|
The cat is a very selective creature, moving around on it's own terms in very odd and sneaky way, eyeing the public from the corner of their eyes as they make their way forward, one step at a time. After all, there are no limits to how a cat will move, climb, crawl and move about in something as large as a city. Especially if that cat can fly. What most people failed to realize and see were two black tails flopping out from one of the rooftops in the downtown area, accompanied by a leg and a very loud yawn that found itself lost in the noises people produced from the area below. "Diiiiinner! Diiiiiinner~!" The voice called out again, the tiny figure shuffling around on the spot until it sat with her legs dangling from the edge, the hands disappearing for a moment and returning from her back with a snack in her right hand and a beverage in her other hand, smiling down as she watched the people below move without noticing the odd little cat. Remi often ate her dinner like this, only heading home to her dorms whenever she needed to pick something up or sleep. Ever since the kitten returned to the school, she found a very empty life waiting for her, filled with hijinks involving fighting undead monsters and sleeping in the sky, her presence missing something to make her shine as brightly as before. She had friends, of course she did, so she wasn't left completely alone. But there was something she was missing. A figure that appeared in her dreams. A girl she couldn't put a name to. Blonde hair flowing in the wind. A powerful personality. A happy feeling followed by a sad one. She couldn't really explain it, but it was always there, lingering deep within. Her hands pushed up her sweet snack against her mouth once more, taking a large bite as she gazed down at the people below, watching each and every person who crossed her line of sight with a faint smile and a sigh of disappointment, repeating the process between each bite of her meal and each sip of her drink. Why was she sighing? She wasn't looking for someone, at least, that wasn't any goal she had in mind. She was just eating. Nothing more. Nothing less. That's what she wanted to tell herself, the bad liar known as Nekocchi Remi. "Nnn.. at least it's warm today- g-grah there's bell peppers in this thing! M-mya! Disgusting!" |

Fate had only been back in the city recently, too! The Colonel had called her back over for what seemed to be nothing more than a whim, so it was probably for the best that she had barely managed to re-settle herself the last time she returned. But now? He gave her his explicit word that she wouldn't be called back... for another few months, at the very least. Even with how the Colonel had treated her, she still longed for simple things like spending more time with the friends she had made here! Even if he could make her feel queasy and uneasy about everything else, even if he could crush her feelings in ways most horrible, this was something he never managed to break! There were so many people she wanted to see again... ...But now, she just wanted a bit of rest. Honestly, she had been excitedly bouncing around ever since she got back! During all that bouncing, she barely had time to see any of her friends. She had to approach the school about returning to lessons, there were a ton of things she had to sort out before she could go off and do fun things like that! But now, she did those things. So she was going to do more fun things! Towering above most of the silly, small, asians that lived in Hyakuji, Fate was pacing downtown. She had no idea that she was passing the building that her little catgirl friend-pat was currently resting on! With a little can of soda to her lips, Fate was aimlessly walking around... Well, it wasn't really aimless. She was actually heading towards the pool, as it had been getting pretty damn hot lately. |

Woosh-Woosh! Remi Au Lait!

The kitten couldn't believe what she was seeing. As she spat out the last bit of bell pepper from her mouth, she saw something move along the sidewalk below, a tall and towering figure that had blonde hair with a very distinct style to it, tied into a set of twintails which flowed down along her back. While the height and figure was unfamiliar, radically different from the person she desired to see, the hair and the distinct color of it wasn't. "T-that can't be.. n-nya! Is it?!" With a sudden push from her arms, Remi moved herself off the building and slowly hovered down to the ground, landing on the opposing sidewalk to the one Fate was walking on. Her eyes focused in. Her target was moving. The cat slowly started walking with, staying on her and observing the girl's every move, watching how her hair, feet, hands and head moved. She had to make sure she wasn't about the pounce the wrong person. It's happened before and it wasn't pretty. A lot of cake died that day. Freak accidents aside though, Remi was getting increasingly sure that this was the person she was looking for. She decided to move. Dashing across the street. Keeping her pace up and her distance to the girl she was stalking. If Fate decided to turn around on a whim, Remi would hide herself in an alley or behind a large item on the street, her feline instincts kicking in to the point where it seemed like she was following a prey to eat, as opposed to pounce and hug. Something her body was preparing to do. As the gut feeling in Remi's body told her to act, the kitten slowly hovered up and onto a balcony above, still watching the girl walk. Her feet would land on the railing and her legs would curl as she assumed a pouncing position. Her ears twitched and her eyes would blink. The moment was right. With a sudden push from her legs, the girl would soar down and towards Fate, letting out a very loud and squeaky cry during it! "Gotnyaaaa!!" |

Pool, pool, swimming at the pool~ After chugging down the ice cold can of soda in what seemed to be record pace, the young blonde casually tossed it aside... and at a nearby garbage can. It seemed like a perfectly-aimed casual shot, but if anyone were to touch the metal can they would probably be able to summarize that Fate was cheating just a slight bit, having casually forced the tiniest bolt of lightning inside of it to divert it's course to where it had to go. Fate's casual stepping would slowly turn into a series of hops, practically skipping happily across the ground. Fate was totally in her element today. It was a cheery day, with cheery things going on... no missions, no stupidity, no world-ending monsters and no Lucid! Plus, the weather was nice, and- "W-wha-" Fate's ears perked up as she heard that familiar little voice. Her face shifted from side to side, but she couldn't find the source. Not behind her, not to her sides, not below he- Oh, right, Remi could f- Think fast! In the splittest of split seconds, Fate would shift her body around to catch the almost-assaulting Remicat. Her hands would shift upwards, quickly catching the brunette cat and spinning her around to divert her momentum and to not be smashed into the ground below them. "Remi! I haven't seen you in a while! I, um, just got back from my training missions, and... err..." Fate was having a little difficulty explaining the situation, surely not helped by the fact that Remi was not known for her calmth. Gently and lovingly, Fate would spin her little cat around once again, before hugging her into her much taller body. "Have you been a good girl while I was gone?" |

Woosh-Woosh! Remi Au Lait!

Remi was wearing her casual outfit this day, a long white shirt with an orange vest and a green dress that reached down to her knees, along with a pair of white trousers underneath, there to prevent anyone who'd dare peek into a flying catgirl's dress. She usually wore a hat with this outfit, but opted out of it because of the warm summer weather, allowing her ears to twitch about as Fate caught the girl and hugged her into her large frame, Remi letting out a very loud and excited squeak from her lips as she hovered around her. "F-Fatenyaa! You came back! Nyaa!" Remi cried out, eyes tearing up as her arms wrapped up around the blonde-haired girl's neck, body floating in front of the girl as the kitten's eyes would gaze into the other's, nearly sparkling from how happy and teary she were. Although, this stare wouldn't be held for long, as the cat was pulled in for a massive hug, her extremely small frame pressed up against Fate's very tall and well-endowed body. "N-nyyooo! B-breathing! A-air! A-Aaaaair!" Remi squeaked out a few surprised gasps, pushing her arms in against Fate's body for a moment as she forced herself back and into the air, floating upwards and aligning their heads as her tiny arms proceeded to hug around her neck, pushing her small frame back in for a hug, this time with the added nuzzling of cheeks! As her throat let out a weak purr and her cheeks brushed up against Fate's, Remi answered her with her overjoyed squeaks, her tails swishing around behind her while she spoke. "Remi's a good girl, yes! The best cat around! Nyaa! How was training? Remi did training too! Flying! I can fly super fast now and bounce and stuff!" Suddenly, her voice and her squirming stopped, as her eyes widened in a very surprised and confused expression. If Fate was back, does this mean she's been living in another room? Remi enjoyed living with Fate and part of the reason why she never went back to the dorm much was because of the lonely feeling she got whenever she entered her room. She always ate outside and sometimes slept outside, either at the shrine or some other comfy place she could find. It wasn't the same as before, cuddling up to someone she cared about. "Nyaa.. F-Fate.. do you have a new roommate? Remi misses living with you.. nobody moved in with Remi either, so I'm all alone now.. n-nyaa.." |

Right, uh, Fate wasn't used to being taller than everyone else combined yet. The moment Remi leapt at her, Fate just hugged her into her body like she tended to do to people! Except, well, Remi quickly suffered a face full of chest and a face empty of air. If it weren't for those weak whines that Remi let out, Fate would've probably held her there until she passed out! Fate herself was really happy to see Remi, too, after all! And when Fate's happy, her already empty mind tends to work even slower than usual... "Oh, err! Sorry, Remi!" Fate's hands quickly moved away from the flying cat, letting her fly up to face-height before giving her a less air-depraving hug, simply holding her by her back and nuzzling their cheeks together. One of Fate's hands instantly went in for the kill, though, resting on her head and petting her from left-to-right. Her hair would occasionally even swoop downwards, scritching the cute cat behind her ears! "Why would I have a new room mate already~? I just got back! I'm taking back my dorm room tonight, so we're going to be together again~!" Fate happily exclaimed, deciding to temporarily ignore the question about training as she dropped herself to her knees, setting down Remi on her feet besides herself. It was easier to talk if they were both face-height and weren't clinging to each other super-tight, after all! "Well~ Training was... Special! I learned some new tricks that I'll show you later!" Fate didn't want to talk about her actual training as she knew that her cat would probably freak out, so she decided to appease Remi by not really talking about it. Plus, thinking about it made her uncomfortable in general, so it was a win-win situation to completely pretend it never happened around Remi, right? Only think about training when the fruits need to yield, or something! "So~ Remi became a special flying supercat? You can fly superfast now~?" There was something else that Remi said that her ears picked up. Calling herself superfast made some of Fate's pride flare up. If it was in speed, Fate knew she would never lose, to anyone, ever! She was a walking lightning bolt, after all! "Does that mean my cat wants to race? I'll show you actual superfast~!" ...Even against her cat, Fate wouldn't hold back! Woosh-Woosh! Remi Au Lait!
|
As Fate released the grip on her head, she'd give out a slight huff, her cheeks puffed as she pouted towards her beloved friend. Her ears twitched about on her head though, mostly settling into a flat position along her head while her tails swished around behind her frame. As Fate released her, setting the kitten down on the ground, Remi would naturally float up. It was akin to something like a balloon or a ghost, something with the natural instinct to float. As Fate declared her living situation, the kitten nearly sparkled. Her eyes widened along with her mouth as she gasped out a loud and excited mewling sound from her lips, as her body flailed around and nuzzled her head up against the light scratches behind her ear. "F-Fate is moving back! Back back back! Moving back! Nya!" Immediately, Remi would start to spin on the spot, still floating as her small frame spun and spun and spun, akin to something like a toy you would see at the playground. Around and around the kitten went, all while giggling and mewling in excitement. She didn't even notice nor care much for Fate's training as her whole body was filled with joy. As soon as Fate mentioned a race, Remi stopped her spinning, instead moving and floating towards Fate's back. With a quick latch on, the kitten would giggle, her small body squeezing up around Fate's larger frame with her right cheek nuzzling up against her neck. Remi was somewhat tired, but still very happy, as one could tell by her loud and content purrs and her tight squeezes, both affectionate and needy at the same time. "Nyaaa.. Fate can race if she wants to! Remi just wants to cling for now! Race against yourself! Fate vs Fate! Nya! To the candy store! Nyaa!" Normally, Remi would be up for a race against her owner. It's just another type of game. But right now, the kitten was very clingy and overjoyed. The two girls hadn't seen each other for a long time and Remi just wanted to cling to her friend and never let go, her arms getting tighter by the second. She wanted to make sure this wasn't a dream. She didn't want Fate to leave her again. By latching onto her like this, she made sure the girl couldn't leave. |
