"This place is pretty impressive." Serenity spoke as she looked around the mall, her and her guide had been around to a few other places earlier, still though the mall seemed like it was surprisingly large, she wasn't sure how many stores would even be in here. It was in reality a waste of space and resources but that must just be how normal people though, Serenity was a bit surprised to see multiple kinds of the same shop but she didn't comment on it really.

"Well, I don't know about you but I'm hungry." Serenity turned to face Artemis, she had been kind enough to take her on a tour around the place so Serenity felt like she had to repay her for the favor. Noticing a nearby food stall Serenity gestured to it. "It's my treat." She spoke as she began to walk towards it.

When she arrived she looked over the various kinds of food. Japanese cuisine was always pretty interesting for her, she decided to just grab a bowl of Ramen to stick nice and simply. Placing her order she turned to see what Artemis would be ordering.

"Yeah, I love coming down here to just admire all the shops and various things that go on sale," Artemis commented, looking about for anything that'd catch her eye. Instead of going to her dorm to change, she kept on the previous outfit of a loose light blue tank top with a sports bra underneath and a pair of fleece running shorts. Simply walking through the mall teased her, making her want to buy anything nice she saw. She had to show restraint since her money came from her parents, she didn't want them to suddenly stop sending her money because she got careless with their cash.

Serenity then informed her that she was hungry, Artemis chuckling a bit. Between Artemis and Dakota, they could both eat at a buffet and put away about ten plates each. "Alright," Artemis agreed to Serenity saying she'd treat her, moving up with her to the stall. "I'll have the same thing, please," Artemis said, holding up her index finger as well as if saying to add one more. She would have said add more beef or chicken but she was being treated and didn't want to ruin the hospitality.

"Who was that on the phone? If you don't mind me asking," Artemis said as she waited for the ramen, turning and looking to Serenity, "Was it about me?" The convo definitely felt as if whoever was talking on the other end was talking about her. The way it seemed, Serenity had someone that was overprotective or spying on her, Artemis becoming a bit curious about the whole thing.

Handing the money over the counter the owner of the food stall went off to make their food. Hearing Artemis's question Serenity turned to face her. "Remember how I told you I had a job before?" Serenity asked Artemis just to make sure her memory was refreshed about it. She did casually mention it in passing so Artemis not paying huge attention to it was a pretty likely thing.

"Well, I work at an agency of sorts." Serenity went on to explain. "We handle any jobs that are sent our way, given of course the payment is equal to the job." She had had some pretty big paying jobs, however The Court ended up taking most of it for funding purposes which was fine by Serenity. She didn't really need a large amount of money to live on. "They are always interested in potential new recruits and thought you had potential." Serenity spoke as the stall's owner came back with their orders. Thanking the stall owner Serenity took her bowl and walked over to a nearby table set up around the stalls and sat down gesturing to the seat opposite of her for Artemis to sit down.

"I've made it quite clear however that I'm not here to recruit for them." Serenity spoke as she began to eat her ramen. Stopping after a few mouthfuls she began to speak again. "I love them all to death but they really need to let it go. If they want to recruit anyone they should send over the actual recruiter." Serenity spoke as a smile came across her face. Bishop was always pretty lazy, it was something Serenity had gotten used to and even had a bit of it rub off on her. "Besides i'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to work for them." Serenity added in as an afterthought, when she said all kinds of jobs she meant it. Her hands were far from clean themselves.

"Yeah, I think so. It was when I asked if you were home schooled, right?" Artemis asked, trying to clarify from memory. Just because Artemis didn't expect people to remain contacts for long, didn't mean she wouldn't remember her first meeting with someone, sometimes. She listened as Serenity began to explain, mentioning she works at an agency that takes jobs that pays proportional to the task. "Oh, I see," Artemis said. She continued, telling her that the agency is always looking to hire potential, having heard about her and believing she had potential. Artemis laughed lightly, having been scoped for potential although Serenity said she wasn't in Hyakuji to recruit.

Artemis smiled to the stall owner once he came with their bowl, following Serenity to a spot to sit and sat opposite of her. Artemis would let hers cool down a little before beginning to take bites, wanting to hear the rest from Serenity anyways. "I-I don't even know what kind of jobs they'd do for me to even consider it," Artemis said, the bit about her being scouted for potential slightly stroking her ego, "Plus, I wouldn't wanna have to go all over the place and leave Dakota behind. I don't think she'd like that and neither would I."

Artemis began blowing on her noodles, cooling them down faster before starting to take a bit of noodle into her mouth. She smiled, slurping up the noodles and biting it off since the noodles were a bit long. "Mmmm," she said, giggling a bit, "Ramen is always best when it's authentic. It's one hundred times better, no, infinity times better than the packaged stuff."

"Mostly it's any kind of jobs, unfortunately when I say any I mean any if they have enough pay and the agents in question agree with it." Serenity spoke looking at her ramen as her mind flashed back to some of the more dirty jobs. "Some of them you won't want to do if you plan on being a cop." Serenity explained, she had been involved in some of the more questionable jobs but that was in more desperate times when she had to make ends meet. She tried to refrain from such jobs nowadays.

"That's understandable. I wouldn't want to just pick up and leave everyone either." Serenity smiled as Artemis spoke not wanting to go off everywhere for a job. "Since i'm staying around here for a few years I get the joy of getting whatever missions they offer up that are focused near here." She explained, she was expecting to get some missions soon actually. It would be nice, despite her wanting a regular lifestyle not having any excitement would be awfully tedious after a while.

"I can't say i'm quite used to it." Serenity replied about the ramen. "Generally I just used to eat whatever I could get my hands on." As an agent she didn't often have time to cook up her own food and she had to be ready on a moments notice on jobs like surveillance or being a bodyguard.

Artemis continued to eat while Serenity explained what sort of jobs there were, or rather, leave it up to imagination when she said there were jobs she wouldn't take if she were to become a cop. "I can imagine," Artemis said, thinking of some assassin type stuff or other means of killing. Unbeknownst to innocent Artemis, killing was the least of the dirty jobs out there. She then agreed with Artemis not wanting to go everywhere for a job, saying she'd be in Hyakuji for a few years and only take jobs that were around. "Well, if anything ever gets tough, there's a whole city here that'd help," Artemis said, repeating the information again.

Artemis finished up her bowl with a couple more slurps, drinking the soup now and enjoying every drop. "Delicious~ Thank you Serenity. Next time it's on me!" Artemis said, laughing playfully. "Well, if you don't have food, you can always come over for dinner when we cook something up. Speaking of, I never got your number. Do you have a cell phone?" Artemis asked while pulling out her cellphone.

Hearing Artemis basically offer up most of the people in the city for assistance Serenity laughed. "I should be able to take care of most of the missions, besides if I bring in another person there ends up being to much paperwork for me to bother with it unless it is really necessary." She smiled as she finished her food and placed her bowl back down on the table.

She'd have to come back here and have some more at some other point in time. The ramen was actually surprisingly tasty, often as she said she'd just go with microwavable food or something similar but being able to have time to make food would be nice. She simply smiled and nodded when Artemis offered to treat her to food next time, she wasn't about to decline free food especially now that she was living on her own more or less and had to be more careful with her funds.

Another brief chuckle escaped her lips as she heard Artemis ask her if she had a phone, she wasn't sure if Artemis just tripped up or if she actually forgot that she had just asked about the phone call earlier. "Yes I do, it's necessary in my line of work." Serenity smiled as she fished her phone out of her pocket and gave Artemis her number. The only other people she had in her phone was her fellow agents as well as a few officials who owed her a favor or two.

"Feel free to call me whenever. If i'm not busy i'll be up for anything." Serenity smiled, apart from missions and the obligatory school work she wasn't expecting to be busy often. "Anyways, we should probably go and have a bit more of a search around, no?" Serenity questioned Artemis if she was okay with continuing her tour.

"Ah, yeah, that makes sense," Artemis said, laughing nervously, rubbing the back of her head at the same time. After having asked if she had a cellphone, Serenity told her it was necessary for her line of work. Once she pulled it out and gave her the number, Artemis blushed out of embarrassment and remembering seeing it when they were at the dorm. "Hehehe, I guess I got too carried away when I looked around your dorm room to spot similarities that I totally forgot you had a cellphone." Artemis sighed, disappointed that she said she'd remember people but forgetting she had a cellphone when the conversation she had on it caught her attention.

Artemis exchanged numbers, registering Serenity's in hers. "You wouldn't mind if I took a pic to add to the contact, would you?" Artemis asked, holding up her phone and facing the camera to her, "I like seeing a face next to the number when I'm calling or being called." Serenity told her she could call her up any time if she wanted to hang out or do anything, Artemis nodding happily. Artemis'd pass her bowl up near Serenity's after she got up from the seat. "Alright then, let's continue on the tour, maybe we'll find something interesting. Ever read any mangas? They're fun to read and I have a bit of a collection back at the dorm. Oh! How about video games? Now those I get into quite a bit. I have a 3DS of my own in a light blue color, it's a custom color of mine."

"Not at all, feel free to take a photo." Serenity smiled raising her gloved hands to her chin and mock posing for the photo. She didn't really rely on photos in her own contact list but to each their own after all.

Artemis inquired if she was interested in either manga or video games, they were topics that Serenity knew a bit of. Granted instead of manga Serenity was more of a western comics enthusiast but from time to time she dipped into a particular series. "I've read a fair amount of superhero comics." Serenity smiled, even if her hands were a bit to dirty to be a superhero she always liked the idea of them.

"Is there a store like that around here?" Serenity inquired her eyes almost sparkling. Comics were one of the things she really liked, while she was often quite literate and read a lot of different kind of books there was little more she enjoyed then picking up a good comic book. "Cause if so we really need to go there." She spoke as she stood up straight again regaining her posture.

"I also have a bit of experience in video games, I played a fair bit whenever I was at HQ." Serenity smiled as she reminisced. "My employer had a console in her office and we'd often play some games together, never could really beat her." Shaking her head to bring herself back to reality. "Anyways, lead the way then." Serenity spoke letting Artemis take the lead.

Artemis took the picture and saved it as the contact for the number Serenity gave her, smiling and showing her the picture afterwards. Artemis turned off the screen and set it back in her pocket, ready to tour the city with Serenity. As they went, Artemis was told she liked superhero comics, Artemis giving her a smile. "Those are really neat too! Come to think of it, we're kinda like superheroes ourselves. We just need someone to make a comic out of us." Artemis laughed at the idea, continuing at a normal pace alongside Serenity.

"Of course there are stores like that around," Artemis said, picking up speed to rush to the nearest store, "They sell music, posters and especially comics. It's one of my favorite places to get music and other little trinkets." She continued forward, a bright aura in her face as she seemed very pleased. After a minute of speeding up a bit they'd find themselves in front of the store, decorated with signs and even cardboard cut outs of popular characters featured in their respective comics.

"You first!" Artemis said, opening the door with her psychokinesis, a cool breeze coming from the aircon cooled establishment. The building wasn't too big but definitely had a large selection of music, posters, books and more. Near the back of the store where the register was was a cooler that had drinks, drinks that ranged from water to soda, tea to energy drinks. Various music could be heard playing over the intercom, not too loud so it wouldn't bother those in the buildings nearby.

"Ah that's good then." Serenity spoke as she matched her pace with Artemis, she was surprisingly fast but it was something that Serenity could easily match, she couldn't call herself an agent if she couldn't at least run at these speeds. Reaching the front of the store Serenity smiled at the cut outs, she recognized a few of them from various comics that she had read herself.

As Artemis opened the door with her psychokinesis Serenity nodded in thanks. Entering into the room she had a look around, it was definetly filled with lots of cool forms of entertainment. Bobbing her head around slowly to the music as well she walked in and started looking around.

It was filled with lots of kinds of comics that she had read, she made a mental note to come back here when she had some money for herself. "This place is really impressive." Serenity spoke in admiration to Artemis. "Good thing I have such a capable tour guide as yourself." She smiled as she pulled a few comic books out and had a look over them before putting them back. "Anything you are curious about getting here?" She asked Artemis turning to face her. "I'll probably have to wait a while and grab something after I've done a job or two."

Artemis was pleased to see that Serenity was enjoying this place, a little gem within Hyakuji that had a lot of things considered rare to those who liked to collect certain goods. She began browsing herself, seeing if there were any new releases from any circles she liked or any goods that caught her eye. Artemis pulled a plastic wrapped, metallic pen that looked really cool, planing to buy it once Serenity was ready to go. Artemis wasn't finished, of course, pulling two boxed mugs that had certain characters on them she liked. She decided to get one for her and Dakota, Artemis smiling as she held onto them.

Artemis looked to Serenity when she was praised, blushing lightly at the compliment. "Aw, it's nothing really," Artemis said modestly, "I just know a couple places that seem interesting. I know if I were to be new to a town, I'd want some help finding places that'd keep me entertained." In response to Serenity asking her if there was anything she planned on getting, Artemis showed her the mugs and pen, laughing with a bit of a smug attitude. "Well, when you get money, let's head out again and we can find you some nice things for your dorm."

"Oh?" Serenity smiled coyly as Artemis blushed at the compliment. So, Artemis was easily embarrassed from the looks of it, that made things fun. However since she was helping out of her own volition she'd restrain from teasing her today. Maybe the next time they ran into each other she would participate in a little teasing of Artemis.

"Ah, those are pretty nice." Serenity spoke as she went towards the counter with Artemis. Seeing as she didn't actually end up buying anything for herself she bought herself a bottle of soda then stepped aside to allow Artemis to pay for her items.

Serenity smiled as she began to leave the store. Turning around and bringing a hand to her chin she looked at Artemis. "Well, I think that's a good enough tour for today." She tilted her head a little bit. "We should probably start heading back, don't you think?" She waited patiently to see if Artemis wanted to head back or keep going and look around some more.

Artemis purchased her goods, pulling out a small wallet and from there a card from within a flap. She'd put away her card in her wallet, tucking it away and then grabbing the bagged goods. "Well, I wasn't planning to buy anything while on my run but looks I managed. I'm not even on a run so I guess it couldn't be helped." Artemis chuckled, making her way to the exit with Serenity. As they began to exit, Serenity suggested they head back and Artemis nodding in agreement. "Sure, sounds fine to me," she said, giving her a thumbs up with her bag in the other hand.

Artemis opened the door once again with her psychokinesis, allowing Serenity to exit first before leaving herself. "I'll probably end up doing an actual run when I drop this stuff off at my dorm," Artemis said, raising and lowering the bag with her hand, "Dakota will probably ask why I got this stuff when I was supposed to be running." Artemis began heading towards the exit of the mall, walking alongside Serenity. "It's been a fun tour," Artemis said happily, "I hope the rest of the people you meet in Hyakuji are nice and helpful too. We'll be seeing each other often during the school days and whatnot, you can even sit with us at lunch."

"It has indeed been a fun tour, I thank you for it." Serenity politely said to Artemis, she definetly owed Artemis a favor after this. She would have to repay her someday but for now she should start heading back to her dorm to actually set up her gear. It wouldn't be good for her to completely forget about it and spend all night unpacking everything and getting little sleep.

"I'm sure if they are even half as nice as you are i'll be fine." Serenity laughed when Artemis wished her luck with the other people that she would end up meeting. Serenity hoped that it would go well as well. It should because she managed to know enough about social interactions to get by but still this was a place were the conventional rules were more or less turned upon their head.

Serenity smiled when Artemis offered a spot with them for lunch, she'd definetly take up that offer. Artemis was a very nice person and Serenity was proud to have already met someone so nice in such a short time frame. "I'll have to take you up on the offer at some point." She laughed as they left the mall.
