"OH GOD KILL IT WITH FIRE!" "That reaction is how I KNOW I did a good job!"
Backstory

This was the unofficial official unofficial Place Where Bad Things Happened location nearest the school. Hyakuji High was itself a magnet for mayhem, as evidenced by...every day. Ian loved it, and was gleefully a contributor to the overall whirlwind of events. Always a fireball of manic enthusiasm and all kinds of creepy things, he was ever on the hunt to satisfy his hunger. Challenge. Conflict. Problems. Things to test himself, opportunities to grow.

Ian knew what evolution actually meant. The effects of selective pressures and generational adaptation to the environment and competing organisms. What he really did was mutate, but with the assimilation and guided factors, he just referred to what he did as evolution anyway because the common connotation fit the bill. Why make things overly difficult.

Trouble, trouble, what WAS he going to have to do to find it. There were always idiots back here doing something they shouldn't. Ian dryly hoped he wasn't the ONLY one. Still, it was nice to be on his own for the time being. All kinds of things going haywire lately. Alex had left back to New York on what his adoptive parent had called business. The only thing that Ian was really annoyed about was that his smartphone was being screwy lately. It still WORKED, just...badly. Damn thing was gonna need a repair, but Ian barely kept ANY money, no more than was utterly necessary, so... crap. And of course, his father probably could have fixed it himself.

Reminded of that fact, he felt it vibrate from inside his abdomen where he kept it. Expelling it from his flesh and holding it in his hand, he scowled. "Friggin- DAMN you, stop turning on voice control at random times!" Shaking it, he tried to make it behave and turn off, before it suddenly popped up not one but EIGHT error screens, ads, and registration/plan notices, driving Ian off the deep end in sudden rage.

"RRRRRRGHAGKR!"

Clutching the smartphone, Ian bulked his arm's muscles up, wound up, and whipped the infernal device at one of the old buildings' masonry, the smartphone having no chance. Those things broke when dropped, with THAT much force behind an impact it outright exploded, shattering on impact loudly.

...Crap. Got a little carried away there, hadn't he. Well, it was SATISFYING, he certainly felt good to have reduced a pricy uncooperative gizmo into hi-tech cornflakes, but so much for having a phone until Alex got back. Hell, he didn't even know Alex's number, he was used to just using the contact list in his phone...And Alex had an unlisted number. What a convenient plot device! Well, it wasn't like things would be troublesome for the next couple of undefined-number weeks, right? Ian could handle everything himself, he was a strong independent young man who don't need no parental guidance!

Ian liked to sometimes joke that due to his soul sale and personality, the universe/God hated him, and he reciprocated.

Well it turns out that as fortune would have it, he'd really screwed himself over on that one, not that he knew. Nope, he was just confident as ever, even strolling towards his pulverized smartphone to laugh at the results.

"Kiss one defective Orange tPhone F50 BUH-BYE! Aahh, I don't even care, that felt good."

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
...Drip...

Something...a drop of something pink fell onto the wreckage of the phone. As though it were beginning to rain, two and then three more fell around it - just before a wide shadow began to spread over the ground.

From the roof of the building, a bright pink ooze began to slowly roll down the brick wall like molasses, growing thicker and thicker as it did, collecting along the side of the wall. Before long, most of the old surface was engulfed in what looked like melted bubblegum, clinging to the wall like glue.

Then, an eyeball opened up in its center, spinning around wildly as it took in the decrepit landscape, before finally settling on Ian. And the moment it did, the entire mass of pink material erupted into dozens, hundreds of eyeballs, of every shape and size, each and every one focused on the young man like a crowd of nightmarish onlookers.

Toothy mouths began to pry themselves open along the blanket of eyes, taking in a collective breath that sounded like the heave of a massive alien. Then, in one instant, the air erupted with hundreds of screams, a cacophony of voices young and old, male and female, human and alien, all shouting out the same shrill, distorted cry.

The vile mass launched itself from the wall, hurdling through the air and towards the young man with savage abandon. The vicious thing weighed hundreds of kilograms, shifting and morphing even in midair. It had sprouted arms, tentacles, calcified blades, and every manner of animalistic appendage, like some sort of chaotic amalgam of every living thing that had graced this earth.

As the pink droplets fell, Ian noticed that they looked- And before he knew it, a full mass of the slime was surging down at him! But it adhered to the wall...opening, looking at him.

Ian held his ground, spreading his feet apart to lower his center of gravity. This was certainly new. To his knowledge, he was the only 'monstrous' person in Hyakuji, everyone else had powers that looked oh-so-clean and oh-so-pretty. Pussbags... He didn't get why it freaked them out, really, though did know WHAT freaked people out.

Ian didn't see any difference between what he and this thing's bodies were like and those of other peoples. They had different skin and hair, some even had things like animal parts. To Ian, actually, the pink slime looked just as normal as another Hyakuji student would.

He saw nothing wrong with that, but others very well might. Ian really didn't see a difference between hulking, mutated monstrosity, a normal human, and for example a catgirl. Meat was meat.

But as the mouths opened, he understood at their teeth what this meant. It wanted to eat him. Which prompted a few...makeovers.

Posted Image

Ian was grinning in vicious anticipation, ecstatic at a match of predators.

Posted Image

And his usual mutations followed quickly. Musclemass, his shirt tearing apart and sinking under his skin as usual, and claws, to start with. Some of his more extensive shifts, like armored plates, denticles, or reinforced flesh, wouldn't make any different against a slimy creature.

That voice, however, wiped the manic glee right off his face. WHAT did it just call him!?

"Brother!?" Ian was, if nothing else, one who could easily multitask with his body. Came with the secondary brains and such. As the mass threatened to swallow him, he responded in kind, his right hand growing far larger, the palm the size of an adult torso now, with clawed talons like pythons. A gaping maw opened on the palm, as Ian swung the huge appendage with surprising agility, plowing it forward. His brute strength was already sufficient to handle it, though some of his mass shifted to the opposite side to correct for balance.

"HOW ABOUT PATTY-CAKE INSTEAD, YOU STRAWBERRY-FLAVORED SHOGGOTH! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

Ian was bellowing and roaring with thunderous volume, as he had entirely different means of breathing through ports that had opened in his body rather than lungs. So there was no reason for him to STOP yelling, as he could breathe fine anyway. That was how he was able to rant on and on at times, even. And no, he'd never read a word of Lovecraft actually, but certain jokes and references tended to be made around him to the point where he'd picked it up anyway.

Ian was ready to meet monstrous force with monstrous force. The behemoth maw on his palm was ready to tear into this whoever and start gulping and devouring any bit of biomass it possibly could sever off it.

There was one thing that made Ian take this seriously, deadly seriously, damnably seriously, however. The smell. This creature smelled...like him. Like a churning stew of flesh and biomass from thousands of different sources. He'd have thrown out the idea of a sibling instantly, and insult whoever suggested such a ridiculous idea, but that smell... grisly, meaty, savory, fatty and even greasy, packed with nutrients and sloshing cells and flesh of meals past. She was alarmingly similar, far more than he was willing to comfortably acknowledge.

She....? How did he recognize...something just seemed feminine, maybe it was the pink color, but Ian didn't even know how he'd made that association. Since 'it' was awkward, and he thought in his native English rather than Japanese where gender-neutral pronouns were simple, Ian had at some point after hearing those cacophonous wails that this thing was female.

A girl who was terribly, awfully alike him.

Then may the alpha predator feast!

The three-hundred kilograms of vile mass collided with the young man's altered form in full force. The titanic collision would have been enough to flip an automobile on it's side. But the one thing that the pink mess hadn't predicted was that she'd be running face-first into a gigantic mouth.

The mouths cried out in unison, as a massive chunk of their host was ripped off. The moment it was severed from the central mass, the material that Ian had bitten off degraded into an unassuming, pink goop - no eyes, no teeth, no claws. Almost as though it had been made of play-doh all along.

"̧͐ͣ͗̌Ī͊ ̓̉ͤ̿ͦ̂̂H̛͒̚A̷̍́̇̓ͥ̚TEͩ͆̌ͫͨ ̸ͭ͐̈́P͋͠Ả̋ͨͦ̄̑ͬ͠T̐ͯ͋T̡̋Y͗̌ͧ-̶ͪͦ̌ͣ̿͑̿C̓̒ͩ̀͑A̛̓K̿ͥ̚E̷̒̅͂ͦ͗!̡̉ͮ̎̈ͦ̉̌!ͣͤͨ͌̓̊̿͘!̊"̢ͭ The remaining mouths screeched, with volume that could have rent a human's eardrums. The viscous thing was huge - far larger than an adult human, or even a bear. Even the gigantic maw could barely contain a fraction of it. The rest of the mass was still intact, and angry - it was engulfing the maw from the outside, pressing it shut and attempting to spread over its wielder's body like water.

But it wasn't water at all. The entire entity was harshly acidic, letting loose a sudden, caustic stench, along with the sizzling sound of dissolving flesh. Her method of digestion was far more thorough than his. It was as though she had become a gigantic stomach, trying to break down his body and swallow it whole - all while giggling maniacally through hundreds of mouths, like a horde of psychotic schoolgirls.

Even though he'd chomped off a large amount of the ooze, it was still an impact by 50% greater mass than his own average, and it sent him flung the ground cursing, while the pink muck shrieked at him.

Such exquisite terror! Ian could feel his adrenaline blast through him, huge quantities of the hormone coursing. He was eager to begin devouring this girl's chunk that he'd snapped off, but then found that she was attempting to engulf HIM! That burning- Acid...! Even his multi-processor mind didn't have time to come up with something wiseass about role reversal.

Serious time.

Ian's arm cleaved off, Ian making use of both the sudden, forceful growth of a tentacle-tail off his lower back, in conjunction with his remaining arm (a vestigial replacement was already growing) and legs, to propel himself to the side, his body liquefying partially as his joints dislocated. His arms and legs' joints bent perpendicular to the way they should have, crunching and cracking noises like splintering wood accompanying. Skittering aside, adopting a quadrupedal base as his shoulders and hips adjusted, his replacement arm touching down to the ground.

Doing so took about 5 precious seconds of time, but he managed to wrench away from her to buy more.

Ian's head, mostly his jaws, expanded, skull elongating with his jaws as his lips flensed off, teeth protruding even further.

Posted Image

And inside that gaping mouth opened smaller mouths, over a dozen tongues and rows of mandibles unfolding within. Neat trick with the voices, he'd have to remember that... Ian held pure aggression, to be sure, but adaptation was his true gift. With his huge outer maw acting like a horn to amplify volume, he taunted his attacker now that he had some space.

"ዠ໐นŞē Ş໐นຖ໓Ş fนຖ, ฯ໐น ¢คຖ ๖ē thē ዠ໐นŞē! คຖ໓ î'ℓℓ ๖ē thē ໓ē๓໐liti໐ຖ tēค๓"!

A trick up his sleeve was improvised. His severed arm, still under his control, absorbed and digested the readily-available nutrients in the lump of biomass-rich goop it had bitten off.

"єຖว໐ฯ tђє ໓ē๓໐liti໐ຖ ¢ዠคrງē, รtгคຟ๖ērrฯ รђ๏гt¢คkē!"

With that, the hulking, clawed arm went berserk, erupting with spines outwards, attempting to pierce through as much as it could from within the gooey body. It was getting an acid bath, so maximizing surface area would be counter-productive. Not only was Ian attempting to use the severed arm to feed upon as much mass as it could around it, but he hoped to disrupt as many structures as he could. There was more mass around it than it had, so he was certain the arm couldn't out-digest the girl, but with its quills stabbing from within, he'd hopefully cause so much internal trouble she'd be forced to expel the arm and a significant amount of her own mass...

Not that he stood there and watched her however. Four legs good, two legs bad, he assumed (perhaps wrongly) that had the speed advantage now. Ian began circling the slime, ready to pounce if his tactic indeed disrupted her, essentially flanking her from the inside and outside. If not, he'd have to play a skirmishing strategy.

Someone was watching them, however... The person in question observed at a considerable distance, hidden in a crevice between two of the run-down buildings.

The nightmarish mass didn't pursue right away, allowing Ian to complete his transformation. For that few seconds, it was content to digest its meal, the single arm that it had managed to pry from his body. The spikes tore through its gooey form, but little damage was done - there was no 'structure' to the creature at all. For every eyeball popped like a soap bubble, two more grew in its place. It was completely decentralized, completely amorphous. One would be better off trying to stab a lake. The rampant mass became less and less perceptible as it slowly dissolved into nothing.

It had reabsorbed the mass it had lost, as well as Ian's own arm. But it seemed like the extra biomass put the creature over its limit - pink goop seemed to molt off from its body, rolling down the central mass and coming to rest unthreateningly on the ground. The thing was 'full' - it didn't need to eat. Anything it tried to digest at this point would merely be regurgitated in its own nightmarish way. But even so, the blob didn't stop. It was always hungry. Always.

"You give me a tummyache..." A single mouth complained, the others remaining silent. Slowly, but surely, a humanoid head began to form, sinewy, pink sludge making up the 'hair', and the entire malformed shape having a definitive rose-colored tint. The translucent figure was vaguely female, its torso awkwardly extending out from the chthonian mass - but it was little more than an outline, its unnaturally wide mouth being the only feature to grace its facsimile of a face.

The eye opened up on its 'face', only one of many. The entire thing was covered in eyes, seeing in every direction. No matter where Ian circled, he was always within her gaze.

Four huge arms erupted from the top of the blob with a horrid squelching sound, bending at the elbows and pounding into the ground with gigantic fists. It was the function of a spider's legs, fulfilled in the form of a gorilla's hulking limbs - the four massive extensions lifted the dripping glob of eyes and teeth into the air, leaving impressions in the ground where they pushed down into the earth. Each one must be as heavy as an adult human.

As it was hefted up, the humanoid segment hung downwards like a vestigial corpse, laughing along with the rest of the mouths along the central mass.

It leapt, with the force of a predatory beast - all four of its massive arms pushed off from the ground, sending the nightmarish blob flying forward. She met his pounce with her own, ready to collide, crush, and consume.

Normally, House wasn't a game that you could win or lose. But with the way these two 'played', hardly anything was ordinary.

Cursing, each mouth spitting a different profanity (some in English, others in German, even, mostly Japanese), Ian realized that this girl was unlike him utterly. Soupy, gooey, and without any centralization or specialization. A frigging amoeba. How the hell was he going to deal with her...

Either way, planning was not his forte, on-the-spot cunning much more his style. A direct lunge at her met the pounce motion she took, Ian extending tentacles into the soil to anchor himself and yank him forward with even more brute force.

There they were, two feral monsters on a collision course.

SPLORTCH!

The sudden intrusion of a solid stone wall between them rather interrupted things. Ian slammed into the side of the monolith that extended up from the ground. While he likely wouldn't splatter QUITE like his goopy adversary, that did mean that more force was directly transferred into his body by the impact. His head reverted to normal, Ian steadily restructuring himself to humanoid shape.

"You!"

Ian was hurt. This fight had gone very, very badly, and given what he'd put himself through, he was dangerously low on his reserves of mass. It had been substantially more shifting and bodily reorganization than he usually put himself through. Really, this interruption was welcome, but the person in question gave him the creeps.

Panting, from the multiple ports over his body, it was pretty obvious Ian was in no condition to fight further. Had he impacted the goopy predator, he...actually may have not survived, he was stunned to realize. Too exhausted to even swear at the circumstances, he discreetly began feeding on the soil under him, tendrils gouging into the ground under his feet and slowly feeding and refining biomass to replenish with. An inefficient process, but the girl responsible for the interrupting stone wall had her own say.

Yuzuki had seen them, and intervened. The two of them had made quite a show, and plenty of loud noises. Ian's roaring, the pink blob's screams...Yuzuki may not have even been the only one. She'd come back here to do a bit of landscaping, but needless to say the two bio-horrors' battle caught her attention.

Perhaps notably to the pink attacker, Ian seemed visibly frightened by this arrival, or at least anxious and uncomfortable. The wall she'd raised from the subterranean stone lowered, but Yuzuki was entirely ready to barricade either of them if needed.

All the same, she bowed her head to the pink predator. "Watakushi wa Saito Yuzuki..."

However, Ian was more keen-witted than he often let on. He was an impulsive idiot, a brute, to most, but he had learned how others worked, and with little empathetic or affective understanding, was unfettered in exploiting it. He played up his reaction to Yuzuki, shielding himself with his arms against her, seeming to consider her more dangerous than his pink attacker.

"Get...get away from me, you... Don't you come closer! Urgh...I can deal with bubblegum-blob, you're considerably worse!"

Yuzuki was used to Ian being uncomfortable around her, so didn't pick up on what he was trying to do, taking what he said at face value. Her aura of serenity and calm voice usually soothed people, but Ian was notably unsettled whenever she was near.

"I...had to intervene, you understand. Both of you trying to kill each other, and unless I'm mistaken, you have never met? Permit me to ask, please...what is happening? Mr. Ian, she certainly seems like she could be your sister, all things considered. Your abilities are rather distinctive."

Putting it lightly.

"I don't HAVE a sister! Pinky's psycho!"

Yuzuki shut Ian up with a stern glance, brow furrowed. Even if Ian played up his reactions, she DID genuinely intimidate him. The idea of family was deeply important to Yuzuki, two siblings trying to kill each other mobilized her to be quite serious. "Miss...? What is your name? Please, can you tell me who you are, or why you attacked Mr. Ian?"

The blob had collided with the monolith with a sickening splat, its barely-solid form liquefying completely on impact. Like hot syrup, it slowly slid down the side of the stone, pooling on the ground like melted candy, as though it were in shock from the impact.

The thing didn't have 'ears' in a plainly visible sense - but it could sense the vibrations across its membrane in more covert ways. The blob seemed to wobble in uncertainty, as a single eyestalk emerged from its center, the eyeball blooming like a grotesque flower at the end of the pink strand.

It swiveled around like a sumbarine's periscope, taking note of the newcomer. Before long, a dozen, twenty or more eyestalks emerged en masse, all blinking and focusing on the soft-voiced woman. Only one or two stayed locked on Ian, splitting the thing's attention rather unevenly.

The eyes retreated back into the main mass, as a humanoid lump began to slowly rise from it. It was only a vague silhouette, at first, but it quickly gained form. Bright liquid gave way to stringy, pink hair, still dripping watery residue into the puddle below. Even the figure's eyes were pink. A face reformed, this time more human-like, with a natural skin color as opposed to the bright pink membrane of its previous manifestation.

It was a full ten seconds before the upper body of a human female had finally emerged from the strange goop, wearing a simple, rose-tinted sundress. There were no legs at all - only the top half of a little girl, situated atop the roiling soup. She pouted, visibly upset, casting a sidelong glance at Ian with an indignant look.

"He knows what he did..."

She didn't seem keen on attacking the lady, surprisingly enough. It wasn't that she feared her - although Ian seemed to think that she was strong enough. It was the way that she...reached out to her. In all her twisted fascimile of a life, it was only the third time that anyone had ever done such a thing.

"...I'm Prim." The girl said reluctantly, still glaring at Ian, even as she addressed the nice lady. "Prim Vaner." She took the opportunity to stick her tongue out at Ian, before going off on another tirade, pointing fingers at her alleged brother. "And he does too have a sister! He's a liar! Well, Ian misbehaving was absolutely...nothing new. Arguably, misbehaving was his most-recognized tendency! Yuzuki was inclined to believe Prim thus far, given precedent, but would not jump to any conclusions in particular. Really, "Ian did something bad" was NOT the kind of thing people had to be persuaded to believe!

"I see...would you please explain to me, then? What did he do this time?"

Yeah, THIS time... that really said it all. The guy in question was busy using this time to recover, at a perilously slow rate, via the soil, so was not in any condition to keep up his counter-aggression. This situation had put Ian in an actual state of alarm and deep concern. Not only had he very nearly died if it hadn't been for Yuzuki's intervention, it wasn't even something he'd put up a respectable effort for. His usual tactics of quick and brutal overwhelming force had failed utterly against Prim. While this did excite Ian incredibly, being presented with a foe he deemed a worthy martial nemesis, it also was...really too close of a call to be what he'd consider comfortable.

Ultimately, Prim frightened and excited him, as did Yuzuki, and both for the same reasons. Ian's face reflected this, though 'wide-eyed adrenaline-fueled fright' and 'absolutely maniacal ear-to-ear grin' were pretty unusual to see together. Biomass from the soil circulated through his body, replenishing him at a very slow rate, almost useless really given the circumstances. Despite his bloodthirsty terror-glee, he had to retort to the conversation at hand.

"Yes, please do ENLIGHTEN me! Prim, huh...hrrgh. You're batshit. I was an adopted kid, if you're talkin' about family, you're pulling it out of your slimy backside!"

Then again, it wasn't like Ian remembered life prior to Hyakuji, what with the whole old-self-misbargained event. Particularly grating to him was that exact uncertainty, Prim very well COULD be correct, and he was not taking that well. Yuzuki had made a very unsettling point, neither of them had ever seen anyone else do things like he did. Ian considered himself the only biological mega-predator in Hyakuji, and now here came Prim to contest that while also claiming to be a direct relative. His mood was all over the place as a result. Mania, fear, anger, confusion, and anxiety all cycled through him rapidfire.

Aggression was what he took consolation in. THAT was stable for him, and he knew Yuzuki would only subdue him and then safeguard him after. In essence, he was going to job himself against Yuzuki to feign weakness. His utter defeat here could be turned to his advantage by creating a false sense of security, and he was already thinking of alternative methods of disposing of Prim. So yes, it made sense to him to provoke Yuzuki into curbstomping him, hardly something difficult to do in his current state.

As Prim focused on Yuzuki, Ian hunched into another posture of imminent attack. His overt hostility peaked, deliberately making it clear for the moment he intended to 'cheap shot' at Prim. He knew Yuzuki would prevent it and render him unable to fight back, but would follow with her making sure Prim didn't kill him outright. Yuzuki was easy to understand, afterall, she wanted peaceful resolution. Plus this would function as a show of force to Prim herself and act as a deterrent, or so he intended.

Ian didn't even get the chance to step forward completely. Yuzuki didn't even turn to face him, her peripheral vision sufficient. She was calm and focused, contrasting his blatant aggression.

Ian kind of just suddenly exploded, to his own immense shock:

"WHAT!?"

In less than a step, he'd had his flesh erupt off himself, which looked like a blast of pasta sauce blowing off him. That was not what he'd expected to happen. Then he realized... Yuzuki had sensed, then manipulated, the half-digested soil he'd absorbed and circulated, forcibly expulsing it and taking a substantial amount of flesh with it. She knew he'd be safe and not even pained by that, but it had instantly ensured he would not attack again.

"...You scare the hell out me, you know that?!"

"Behave. Miss Prim, I'm very sorry about that, please tell us, or at least myself, about what led to this."

"..."

Well, not exactly as planned, but Ian had gotten what he'd hoped for at least. Alright, fine, time to listen to what Prim had to say.

Now, let's play together...under the clearest of blue skies.
Prim was giggling madly at this development, almost unable to restrain herself. "You're cool! You make big brother explode!!" She barely managed to choke out amidst her own gut-clutching laughter. "Do it again! Do it again!!"

Seeing Ian blow up was hands-down the funniest and awesomest thing she'd seen all day! It took her a full minute to get a grip on herself, and even after that, she was still snickering and sputtering every time she tried to say anything.

For a while, it looked like she was just too cracked up to explain anything. But she did compose herself...eventually. It wouldn't be hard to imagine that Yuzuki would have the three of them sit down and wait patiently, or something to that effect.

"I'm adopted too, you dummy." Prim stuck her tongue out at Ian, emphasizing the fact that he is a big fat doodyhead and he smells. "Daddy talked about you all the time and about how he sent you off to some dumb school because reasons or something." The very pink girl gave a dismissive look as she rolled her eyes. But a mere moment later, her head whipped back to her brother's with a murderous glare. "And then he goes off to pick you up so we can all live together À̴̳̥N̬̥̟̣͓̬͇̟D̴̳̪̞ ̬̮̕͞H̯͍̫̺̲͕͔̗E̺̗ ̢̲̺͉̹̳̺̣͈N̤̲̜̬͓͈Ȩ̗̭̺̮͚͎͖̰̀̀V̖̠͕̙͖̟E͖͖̭̻R̛̮̘̖͚̤͇͙̀͞ ̨̞͚̯̜͇̟͠C҉̟̲̲̣O̥̱͇͞M͍̦̖͙͈̀E͏͠͏̝͕̦̫S̷͔̦͙̙̯̱̳̱̝ ̡̝̪̱͉̺̱̤̗B̵̸̺͝A͏̲̰͈̬̺̼͝C̲̭̱̞͜͠K̛͓̦̥̜̩̻͟!̵̬̭̗͜!̴̢̞̬!̵̙͕͔͟"

Her mouth opened so wide to scream that her other facial features literally melted away, as the entirety of her face was taken up by a terrifyingly wide, jagged-toothed mouth. Her ears, her hair, even her neck, bubbled out in the same instant and formed even more mouths, like some sort of macabre flower of teeth and rage blooming out of a girl's head. Toxic saliva flew out from the force of her cacophony of screams as her 'face' shook in anger - all before receding and snapping back into the form of a relatively normal-looking girl. And all of this, in the span of a single, horrifying second.

To say that it was a 'mood swing' was an understatement. She had gone from giggling, childish bickering to a downright Cthulian temper tantrum in a literal heartbeat. Her sheer instability, in and of itself, was simply inhuman.

"...You ate him." An oddly flat voice. "S̉͌͏Ȍ̎ͧ́ͭ̀̚ ̈́ͭ̓ͮͨĮͭ̇̒'̿̑ͣͦ҉Mͤ͘ ̕G̒O̊͌͏NͪN̂̽͏A̧ ̈́͛̐ͥ̚͝Eͯ̀ͭ̌̀Aͭ͒ͤ̍͏T̢͊̓͗ ̅͗̎̆ͨ̚YOͯ̑ͪ҉U͟!̎ͧ͋̈̉!̐͂ͧͧ!̡͋̾̏̅̓ͣ̒" But that had only been for a moment. Her body boiled and melted into a caustic wave of slime in an instant, rushing towards him again with the same wild abandon as before. She was so tunneled in on Ian that she had practically forgot that Yuzuki existed - even the most minuscule spark of anger was enough for her to completely explode into a state of pure, homicidal rage.
