... God... damn it... all... to hell...

That was pretty much what was running through Lucian's mind as he beheld the absurdly huge horror from the depth, its titanic claw descending upon them like an angry fist of God. Or from wherever it was. Dear frak it was big. The teeth alone were.. He couldn't even get a proper view of the teeth because they were so frigging huge. They were just... Teeth. Huge, pointy, stabbity teeth. And they had to fight it. And win. Or the world would end. Hell, even whatever 'buff' was on them all before sorta just shattered utterly in the face of the behemoth Pretty much boned at that point, right? Well, were this most any other place, that would be an accurate assessment of the situation...

But Hyakuji was not a normal place.

Moar Muussiiiccc!

Instantly, the metal titan that was apparently on their side sprang into action. Catching the the beast's claw, barely holding up against the massive assault. Then, from nowhere, people began to spring into action! Among them, a second giant robot was brought it, multiple cannons were fied, including a frigging huge one, and a whole lot of people simply transformed in order to better fight the threat. And what was he doing? H e was standing there. Unable to move. He was... scared.

Gritting his teeth, Lucian fought back the waves of dread and despair that were eminating from within him, the fires of hope and determination fueled by the fact that he wasn't alone in this fight. More than anything though? This made him realize something. It was not a fight they could loose. Not. At. All. Absolutely everyone would be needed to take down this thing... And that included himself.

Not today damnit! WE'LL SEND YOU STRAIGHT BACK TO HELL YOU OVERGROWN LIZARD!

Fear still lurked within his heart, but instead of hindering him, it was now helping him. It would be stupid not to be afraid. It would be even stupider to let that same fear rule over him. After all, as his father would say...

"'What is courage...?'"

Lucian asked himself, before he set his jaw, a blazing light emerging from his eyes.

"OWNING YOUR FEAR!"

Roared out his response. Now, the question was, what to do? Well... Get out of the way of the frigging attack! That would be a good start! Locating the nearest edge of the monster's claw, Lucian spent five seconds out of his current twenty seconds to speed burst out of the range of the monster's attack. Winded, but certainly not down for the count, Lucian glanced around at what the others were doing. Headed towards the monster! Why not?!

Nodding, Lucian set off at as high a speed he could manage without the use of his 'overclocked' Ripple. He needed to conserve that if he was going to be of any help. It did help that, however, Lucian's normal Ripple let him walk on water. Handy, right? Lucian set off for the nearest leg he could! He was gonna punch this thing in the face a hundred times if he could help it!

As Hyakuzor, Kaiser, Kazuya, and pretty much everyone else who worked to stop the descending limbs made their efforts, a resounding crashing sound could be heard, Hyakuzor catching the left claw and Kaiser catching the right, the intense strain causing the ground they stood on to shatter and quake. A veritable shockwave emanated from the machines as they BARELY were managing to hold back this attack from crushing everyone right there. For a moment, this unstoppable force was being slowed, nay, stopped. But those holding it back knew that this wasn't going to last. The mechanics of the machines were breaking, even with their super-robot nature, and there was no way they could win a fight of pure strength with a force such as this.

Shad's attempt at having his persona analyse this beast, meanwhile, would have been a good idea under normal circumstances. Unfortunately, these circumstances were anything but typical. The attempt at gaining information resulted in completely paradoxical readings. Nothing about this thing could be translated into logical thought. It wasn't even possible to determine if this abomination was technically alive.

As the assorted students charged forwards, attacking with punches, tackles, kicks, ranged attacks, mystical techniques and advanced technology, disturbingly enough NOTHING was managing to hurt this thing. It was like a bunch of flies crashing against the limb of a bear. Even the rather nasty explosions just weren't doing anything. Ship shells, plasma bombs, this thing was taking it and didn't even seem to notice.

Those that were making a dash towards the beast's mouth would see that it was going to be a treacherous trek, entering that maw of madness. The teeth were just...absurdly large, at least from their perspective. Lines upon lines, all seemingly arranged for the sole purpose of eviscerating anything that even came near it's jaw. But something even more surprising wouldn't be obvious until they were in deep enough to see an error in this plan.

There wasn't any passage further into this thing. It didn't have a throat. No tongue. This field of fangs only had one entrance, and exit. That was the path they took into here. And they were going to need an exit quickly, as now? This thing was closing it's mouth. For those on the outside though, something else was happening. The arms were being...raised back up. Was it going for another downward slam?

...It seemed not, as with surprising speed, the arms and claws began to...retract into this monstrosity's body, seeming to melt away into it's body. For a moment it was still, save for it's still-closing jaw. Then, something new shot out of it's side. A lone, bladed limb shot out towards a ship on the ocean, impaling it. The Challenger. After another moment of nothing, it began to raise it's blade-limb into the air, ship along with it, before bringing it down....on Hyakuzor.

One does not simply eat one packet of mee goreng
As he struggled to keep the machine in place while hoping to god it would stay in one piece, the young man stared in intensifying worry at the breaking and flickering screens , showing the innumerably countless attempts to harm the beast... with little to no fruition... It was ridiculous, even with all of them banding together with all their powers, they couldn't stop it at all...?

Then, for a moment he thought he was given a divine chance to take his breath, Hyakuzor stumbling forward as the weight on the robot was relieved. It wasn't in a good shape however, just defending from that attack alone had severely damaged its structure, giving deafeningly audible creaks with every movements and giving sparks at every intervals, while the pilot himself was in a daze from the terrible pain no thanks to the unique pilot system.

Was that it? What's going on, he couldn't quite tell... A bit misfortunate that he had to cough his blood all over the main screen. The young man took this moment of quiet to wipe the blood away...

Just in time to see the beast instantly taking out a battleship right out of the ocean with a single strike.

He was stunned. He couldn't accept what he was seeing, they are being pitted against something of that much power? None of their attacks are working, and this... THING, is just stomping on all of them like... like insects! As though they weren't even worthy of notice at all!

It was raising the Challenger into the air. The bladed limb was coming down to smash on Hyakuzor with it. Fast.

"...You know, I really, really hate beings like you..." Seth Ryouga growled through gritted teeth, spitting out whatever blood is pooling in his mouth. He straightened up in his seat. "You think you're all so high and mighty that you can just destroy us humans?!" Hyakuzor straightened up, creaking dangerously as it cocked its fist back over his shoulder-! "I'LL SHOW YOU YOUR MISTAKE!!! I AM A HUMAN, AND I AM THE STRONGEST!!!"

Rockets bursted out of Hyakuzor's elbow as its signature weapon the Hyaku-Punch was activated, augmented to be even more powerful by Amitie's help, launching its fist forward to meet the falling bladed limb and battleship head on!

A bit unfortunate.

CRASH!!!

It was a deafening impact of steel against steel. The mavhine was not meant to take such severe punishment after the weakened structure, the force behind the two collision was so powerful, it collapsed Hyakuzor's fist into his arm, completely breaking it apart. Unlike Hyakuzor however, the beast had nothing to be broken.

SMASH!!!

If the battleship wasn't enough to do the job, then the actual bladed limb would. The beast would meet little to no resistance after the initial punch, smashing onto Hyakuzor's already weakened structure like paper, crushing the Steel God to the ground with an ominous deathly boom.

~Far away from the port~

"...it's impossible after all..." Said a regal looking woman in a pink kimono, standing atop one of the higher bulding while watching the ongoing battle from afar. She slumped onto the roof floor, weak amd seemingly defeated in mind. "Is this really the end...?"

No way.

Natsumi stopped dead in her tracks.

She had turned back for a moment when the claws had lifted, then retracted. Somehow, through sheer strength (nothing like her attempted plan), they had beaten the monster's attack back. Somehow, they had won against it - but only for a short moment.

She had turned back, and that was when it happened.

Hyakuzor was crushed and Natsumi could do nothing.

She was far away enough not to be killed herself, but that was about everything positive that could be said. She stood there, seeing the monster not even fazed by the bullets and explosions and superpowered assaults, seeing the giant shark's maw of teeth, seeing the huge bladed limb that now took the place of the machine that had saved them from the first blow. She stood there, fists clenched uselessly in a casing of ice, willing herself to feel anger, to feel determination. To feel like she could make a difference.

Instead, she felt despair.

OOC: Bolded bits indicate parts that may affect other players, please read!

-----------------------------Aboard the Challenger -----------------------------

Confusion and fear reigned as the crew saw the monster came out unscathed after being hit by the massive barrage thrown at it. None of them knew what to think. Did they even stand a chance? Luckily the Captain was quick to restore order and began shouting orders. “Scramble all aircraft! Prioritize the bombers! Nothing’s invincible, we just need more firepower! All weapons free! Show them the pride of the U.S. Navy!”

The flight deck became a flurry of activity, and within a few minutes three of the five bombers were ready for take-off. Another minute or two later they were in the air, headed to the front alongside the EVA units. As all this happened, both the carrier and its escort destroyers unleashed its arsenal, sending missiles, cannon shells, and torpedoes at the monster.

This wouldn’t last long however, and after the initial barrage the monster retaliated with deadly force. The bladed arm cleaved through the Challenger hull like it wasn’t there, and impaled the ship’s unlucky captain along with half the bridge crew.

“A…abandon ship… D…detonate the ammunition h…hold…” The captain spurted out between mouthfuls of blood to one of the surviving crew. “W…We’ll take the bastard’s a…arm with u…us…”

Unfortunately the monster was much faster than the captain anticipated, and by the time the first of the explosions went off the ship had already been slammed onto the Hyakuzor, adding to the carnage. Hopefully the resulting explosion would at least leave a mark…

-----------------------------Eva and her squad-----------------------------

The gynoid barely acknowledged the carrier’s demise. They knew the risks, and they laid down their lives to save the world. There was nothing they could do for them now. Unfortunately most of the aircraft went down with the carrier, but luckily the ERIS androids were fast enough to abandon their armour and take to the skies.

Things were looking bad, really bad. The carrier held nearly half of Eva’s forces, and with it gone she didn’t have much left to throw at the monster. The airborne EVAs weren’t doing any meaningful damage, so she redirected some of them into the beast’s mouth to rescue anyone who was brave enough to venture inside before the maw closed. With ten of their numbers using their superhuman strength to slow the jaws, it should be enough for them to get everyone out, even if those ten were doomed.

Meanwhile Simon would find himself joined by ten more EVA units sent there to ensure the safety of Eva’s original body and Yuzuki. Another ten androids were directed to the wreckage of the Hyakuzor, searching for the pilots and any others who were unfortunate enough to be caught in the attack.

Eva watched all this a little ways away from the monster in her hijacked body, the ERIS androids hovering alongside her. Conventional weapons weren’t working and neither were magical weapons, but the monster was clearly supernatural in nature… Meaning there was one more thing Eva could try. She sent all eight ERIS units to various points around the monster as she broadcasted a message to her allies.

“ALL SUPERNATURAL USERS RETREAT 200 METERS AWAY FROM THE MAIN BODY. MAGICAL NULLIFICATION WILL COMMENCE IN ONE MINUTE.”

After the allotted time is up, all eight ERIS units activated their Power Nullification Pulses (see spoiler below), sending a pulse of energy that would engulf most if not all of the monster’s body.

Power Nullification Pulse (PNP)

The PNP was designed to stop any supernatural user dead in its tracks, but against a target like this there was no telling if it’ll work. Eva had sent some of her squad to help supernatural users get away from the pulse, but if any are unlucky enough to be caught in it, they will find themselves stripped of their powers. The gynoid knew it was a gambit and that it might hurt her allies, but there was way too much at stake here for half-hearted measures.

It was all or nothing.

"Better tell me the cannons are ready! Because my men are throwing everything they have at that thing, and it's not enough!" The PMC commander's voice came over the radio as Selene and the small remainder of Frostfire's mercenary contingent, positioned at the battery of particle beam cannons several hundred meters away from the docks watched the explosions engulf the creature from all manner of attacks both mundane and magical - none of which seemed to have any effect whatsoever. Even the mighty Hyakuzor proved no match for the eldritch horror's incomprehensible might, smashed like a toy facing a spoiled child's temper tantrum. Perhaps, it was for the better that Selene didn't know who was inside the doomed giant mecha...

"This... is terrible..." Selene muttered, forcing herself to not look at Hyakuzor's final moments, trying not to wonder how many of that American naval vessel's crew managed to abandon ship. There was little doubt though, part of its crew went down with their ship. And then there was Hyakuzor. The corporate heiress had no idea who was piloting the mechanized defender, but she had a bad feeling about it, like as though she'd just lost someone dear... and if they don't stop the beast here, this would be merely the tip of the iceberg on the untold amount of death and destruction it was capable of wreaking...

"Jeez, just what is this thing made of?" Jen could only wonder as the apocalypse beast took everything the defending heroes could throw at it. There was no flinching, staggering, growling or any indication that it was taking any damage whatsoever. "Either its got so many hit points that hitting it for a bajillion points of damage amounted to nothing more than a pin prick, or its defense is so absurd that we're hitting him for zero damage!" Not that Jen was expecting this to be a fair fight - this is a final boss after all. But there was a clear line between being reasonably challenging, and bullshit OP.

OOC

Plasma Barrage Charge-Up: 2 of 2 (Completed)

"This must not be allowed to continue!" Lavender remarked grimly as she beheld the futile assault on the beast, followed shortly after by the demise of Hyakuzor and the USS Challenger. Despite formerly hailing from a profession where being conditioned to accept death and horrors of the battlefield were a job requirement, it didn't mean Lavender enjoyed seeing any of it, nor could she ever say she was desensitized to it all. Far from it; scenes like these always had a way of burning themselves into the aeromancer's memories, and coming back to haunt her during her most private moments when she least expected it.

"You took everything we could throw... it wasn't enough. So now, I give you more than everything," Lavender remarked as she stretched out her right arm, gesturing towards the newly-formed sphere of plasma - a large blue-white sphere of ionized gases surrounding by a swirling field of Birkeland currents. Waiting for the android units to unleash their power nullification field and for those fighting to pull away from the creature, before waving her right arm to make a sweeping gesture towards the beast.

"Burn." Lavender remarked, sending her sphere of superheated plasma towards the apocalypse beast, the blue-white sphere leaving a trail of orange incandescence in its wake as its sheer heat ignited the air in its flight path, streaking towards its target like a demonic comet. As the unstable plasma made contact, it exploded - first unleashing a searing white flash, then followed-up microseconds later by a massive fireball that engulfed the creature's upper body.

OOC

Grand Cannon Charge-Up: 3 of 3 (complete)

"They're ready!" The Frostfire Industries executive radioed in to the mercenary leader, whose remaining units were already pulling back after the ill-fated assault.

"Let em' rip," came the commander's orders as the PMC teams manning the particle beam cannons made the final inputs into their onboard targeting computers to lock onto their target, servos whirring as the cannons adjusted their aim. "Eye of Ra System... firing in 3... 2... 1." Shortly after Lavender's finisher move was unleashed, in a single coordinated move the Frostfire team made their second assault. The particle beam cannons fired, unleashing three yellow-orange streams of charged hydrogen atoms at near-light speeds.

"Grand Cannon, go!" Acting in unison with its technological counterparts, Selene's war golem unleashed its massive chest beam, comparable in destructive capability to the particle beam cannons, albeit blue-white in color. "Please let this work..." the corporate heiress thought.

Jun's charge was only mildly interrupted as a passenger 'hopped' on board as it were. Ordinarily she'd complain about something so rude and stupid but in this case, it wasn't stupid, it was a legit combination attack! She impacted hard, the water around her exploding like a depth charge activating near the surface of the water. The impact was grand, an attack that could sink a battleship. She'd felt it, hit it's body, and yet... she didn't feel an ounce of give. It was like that paradox...the immovable object? She had little time to wonder as the recoil sent her spiraling off it like a ricochet bullet at torpedo-speeds, barely getting a chance to hold her breath before rolling downwards further and further into the broiling sea with the sounds of battle muffled above her.

Thankfully for whatever reason she felt no break in her strength as if her qi was suddenly bottomless. And while she was a disoriented and a little bruised her iron skin kept the pain and damage to a minimum. Jun opened her eyes, realizing the light above her appeared to be getting smaller. She couldn't let herself sink any further. With a flurry of powerful vibrating kicks she hurtled upwards, unsure of the fate of her riding companion. This monster...could it actually be hurt in the first place? Or were they just battling in vain? Things couldn't possibly get any worse...

Until a loud pulse suddenly shook the sky, the sound vibrating through the ocean as well. Jun barely registered it at first.

Until she began to slow.

Her kicks went from torpedo, to speedboat, to jetski, to amateur scuba diver, to fifteen year old girl covered in untreated bruises. Jun's body ached and she felt her lungs burning. Why was this happening? All this because she didn't want to be anyone's burden. There wasn't much left she could to hold on, her legs were too weak to kick. Why had her powers left her? Why'd she have to get involved in this in the first place? Why...

She'd really stepped in it now...

Trying as he could, the results seemed to be in vain, the combined efforts of everyone attacking the limbs plus the two robots did nothing, as far as they were concerned anyway. Kaizo kept shooting pixels at the creatures limb while looking around for any weakness that the monster could have had. Instantly, he saw Kazuki and Matt, flying on a lance, towards the monster's mouth.

A minute was all he could afford, if the monster did not kill them, the fall would. He prepared to move, and as he did, he realized that he hadn't been wasting pixels so far. Due to his own worries, he had not noticed the fact that his powers were not depleting at all, in fact aside from having an inexhaustible supply, he seemed even stronger than before.

Thankful for that fact, as well as for the speed boost that came with the transformation into bit hero, he began running as fast as his, 100 times augmented feet could take him. he created pixels below his feet with every step to avoid falling, his objective was to save Kazuki and matt from certain doom by tackling them, grabbing them, and then run away hoping that he would be able to run 200 meters away from the creature in the allotted time. As he ran, he kept shooting pixels to the side, hoping to hit the beast in an unexpected weak spot somehow.

Once he reached the spot where the other two would collide with the beast, he came to the realization that the teeth were bigger than he could have possibly expected prompting him to shoot at one with his left arm, while opening his right arm in order to grab the two of them and drag them along as fast as he could by running over pixels through the air.

"Watch out!"

For once his voice had an inflection put into it.
---

There had been a sudden pulse, and out of nowhere, her powers vanished just like that. Her mount began to decelerate apparently having lost powers all the same. The mirror clones that disappeared as well, proved that her abilities were no more. And it was in that situation that Carol could say one thing, and only one thing.

"THIS IS NOT THE END OF MIRROR KREUSS!"

Sounding like an overly tenacious supervillain, she would try to grab Jun's arm and swim in the opposite direction, hopefully with help from Jun as well.

Seeing that even the giant machines that were holding off the creatures claws weren't enough, she began to reanalyze the situation. Elizabeth's previous calculations were completely off now, standing there and all seized up. She began to devote most of her processes in figuring out a new plan but all it did was cause her to heat up, prompting her to dump the information and simply tackle the issue as time went on.

Watching as the Hyakuzor began to buckle in, she took a knee and attempted to contact Valentine and Kalvera back in Hyakuji. "Master, I am unable to determine an effective strategy against this creature," she said calmly, informing Valentine and Kal about the situation in case they couldn't see it otherwise, "Even the large mechanical suits are unable to hold them back." Elizabeth didn't get any reply, the system more than likely jammed or some interference interrupting the line.

She looked up at the creature once again, seeing it beginning to close its mouth and raise its claws into the air. Every time she attempted to analyze the biological structure or even the simple dimensions of it, she'd begin to heat up. Something like this defies all logic, something that didn't sit right with Elizabeth since that is how her life runs; logically. Unfortunately, the creature began to pull its arms into its body, jutting out with a bladed limb instead and piercing a ship in the water.

It didn't take long for it to begin a new attack on the port, Elizabeth ready but unsure as to what to do; a new feeling for the gynoid. Her plans were usually thought out clearly, easy to initiate and complete but this was a totally different situation that she couldn't comprehend. Suddenly, as if snapping Elizabeth out of a trance, she noticed a large boom coming from the giant robot. A plan finally emerged, or at least it was something she could do. Making a break for it, she began to head towards the damaged Hyakuzor to attempt salvage of the pilot(s).

(OOC: Things in bold are important for other RPers!)

Ah, not even she could rip the creature apart, could she? To be fair, that's to be expected. This thing was like, three-hundred times her size! Even with her absurd strength, she couldn't find the means to combat this massive monster. She hoped she could at least rip at an exposed part of the limb, since that other giant robot was keeping it up pretty... well, slightly firmly for her!

Hahaha...

Amitie's hands would finally retract from the creature's body, using her advanced strength to toss herself backwards. An annoyed grin had started to form on her face as she reached. For a few moments, her strength would return to normal, or at least normal for her standards. Her body was starting to ache from how much energy she had been pumping through her veins. It felt like she could fall apart any second now..

"Ahh, just give ME A BREAAAK!"

Amitie's scream resounded louder than it probably should've.

"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY THINKING THAT YOU CAN WIN!?"

She was shouting into the open air with an ear-rending volume. It was as if even her vocal chords were enhanced by her insane strength. Those who had been taking advantage of Amitie's boundless, flowing energy would feel it shake throughout their bodies. While there was still no sign of it running short, any time soon or at all... it seemed like Amitie's resolve had temporarily been shaken.

The redhead was mainly just screaming to keep her own morale high. Maybe, hopefully, it'd have a positive effect on the others that could hear her yell...

"YOUR LIFE-" Amitie yelled as Hyakuzor was crushed by the demon's foul blade. For a second, she staggered, as that was the only thing here that seemed to have any sort of effect on this monstrous entity. But that staggering only made her yell louder.

"YOU'RE GONNA LOSE IT ALL"

Amitie's voice had finally gone a bit shrill from screaming. Her legs launched her body towards the Hyakuzor's now-fallen body, ripping her fists into the mech's remains, trying to tear whatever she could away from the pilot's within...

Ah, no, no time for this!

Blindly, Amitie would yank her hand into whatever chunk of metal of the Hyakuzor she could find. Whether it was a blade or just a chunk of metal at this point didn't matter. Hell, she wasn't in the state of mind to check! With her eyes closed to black out the stressful situation around her...

...Well, she aimlessly started slashing her newfound 'weapon' at the creature's claw, trying to at least damage it and the shippy-carcass attached to it so that Hyakuzor could be pulled out safely. Her resolve was building up once more, only barely overshadowing the empty despair and fear that was filling her body...

"P..p...POWER NULLIFICATION!?" Fate yelled out loudly. What the hell was this idiot thinking!? Luckily, Fate was a safe distance away from the demon, so she wouldn't get hit by the blast either way. For a moment, Fate slipped back into her mother-tongue, cursing ceaselessly in Dutch.

"Godverdomme jij achterlijke... Waarom denk jij dat dit helpt!?" Fate practically cried out. Ah, 200 meters, too many people there for even her to save... Fate lobbed her oversized spear forward, striking past many students and intending to hit the creature right in it's mouth. Luckily, the young blonde had been trained to hone her aim a bit. Hitting someone with this oversized spear just as they were trying to escape would be troublesome...

Ah, there's no time to be mad. Fate lowered herself to one knee, closing her eyes and starting to focus. Screw it, this might be dangerous, but whatever. If that kid wasn't bluffing about her attack, this could leave pretty much everyone on the battlefield useless...!

"Listen, everyone that can't get away in time! Raise your left hand and close your eyes. It might hurt a bit, but you'll be safe, okay?" Ah, this was a terrible, terrible idea... Markerlights, little bolts of lightning that judged Fate's path would be shooting throughout the sky. She had gone much further at times, yes, but that was without carrying people. "I'll get you out of there at the last second!"

...And when that last second hit, Fate would indeed move as fast as she could. She transformed into lightning itself as she zoomed around the battlefield at an insane speed, carrying away and dropping everyone off at the safe-spot she had been standing herself.

Oh? She couldn't harm it with even her Genocide Fist? Isn't this the time to abandon all hope, then? If the one technique she remembered couldn't harm this great beast, there was nothing she could do, right?

Ah...

This was getting better and better!

Exciting, exhilarating. Einhart's heart was going wild with the purest form of joy around! So long had passed since she fought something, anything, that could match the Overlord of her memories! This was the best, the absolute best!

But how could she fight something like this? So huge, so massive? What was she supposed to attack? Ah, that's right!

Einhart simply dashed forward, ignoring Eva's warning of negating supernatural powers. After all, none of her powers were supernatural in any way, shape or form! Hunching inwards, the both of her feet started to glow with a strange aura... an aura that suddenly exploded outwards as she launched her body towards the side of the huge creature. Her fingers would glow in the same deadly aura as she did her best to jab into it's skin... even if she couldn't harm it, she was attempting to latch onto it. And climb upwards.

"This is hopeless! This thing isn't going down no matter what we throw at it!" said Kaito still continuing his barrage.

Nothing seemed to affecting this thing at all. How were they supposed to defeat this thing if they cant even so much as scratch it. Suddenly the beast attacked again with some kinda blade limb. Then he watched in terror as Hyakuzor went down after the beast attacked again. Even their mechs didnt stand a chance against this thing. Could they really win?....The more they fought the more it seemed like they didnt stand a chance.

"Damn it....No choice but to fall back for now."

Quickly willing a large amount of water to him, he rode on it to hopefully, escape away from the blast radius. Running away was the only thing he could do at this point.

"WHAT THE HELL! YOU IDIOT!" Kazuki yelled in anger.

Instead of going for the hand, he was knocked way off course because of Matt. He couldnt really fix the trajectory so it looked like they were heading straight for the mouth. But...what he saw next was pure terror. The monsters teeth were massive! These teeth were meant to destroy anything that come into its mouth. Including them. For a very brief moment he saw deeper into the beast. There was nothing. No tongue. No throat. Just teeth. He had to go in reverse now! Suddenly he was tackled by Kaizo and was dragged off with him. Kazuki still had the look of sheer terror on his face.

"W...W...What is this thing?...."

"ARRGH!" He growled "Not only I cant even scratch this thing but now I have to run, dammit all to hell" He cursed as he began running in order to get out of range from the anti-magic pulse.

As he was running he cast his mind back looking over his memories of his time in Hyakuji, even if he was only here for a short while it was the best time of his life. He remembered the good times he had there, as well as all his friends who were among the first friends he ever had.

"I can't fall here!!" He cried in desperation as he got out of range of the anti-magic pulse and reached inside his bag secured to his hip pulling out a small vial filled with a bright purple liquid that was labeled "Overcharge". "I'm gonna hit that thing with every scrap of power I have!" He then uncorked the vial in preparation to drink the potentially fatal liquid when the rest of his comrades were ready for a counter attack.

"Oooooaaaaaaah!"
Well, that was quite the jump!
As a human projectile with a silver trail of hair waving behind, Aya was propelled upwards toward Hyakuzor.

It was a chance to get to the monster, and hopefully find a way to damage it somehow.
Because the only real thing Aya could do to it, was to punch it.
It was bound to be useless, consdering how everything around her was throwing even bombs at it.
Crap, why the hell did she wanted to get close and personal with that thing, considering all that?

Oh, to hell with everything!

She was close, almost there and she could land on that huge, immense claw.
Then what!?
Improvise, obviously.

That was a thought that lasted an instant.
Aya's vertical speed was quickly decreasing, but the insane push she received managed to have her land exactly on the giant claw.
As she surpassed Hyakuzor, the girl finally managed to land above after a somersault.

Too bad that as soon as her feet landed, the claw was pulled away, above.
"Uh oh..."
Aya braced herself as to not lose the position she just gained.
Her increased reflexes allowed her to stand atop at least as long as the arm was raised.
Aya's eyes stared down below. Damn! She was very, very high above!
The breathless scene did last less than a second as the arm began to collapse back toward the giant, melting in its body.
Barely standing on the retracting limb, Aya could not suffocate a scream.
Jumping up there was far from being a good idea in the end.

With the arm retracting at alarming speed, she quickly found herself dangerously close to the sea of bullets and plasma raining on the creature.
At any rate, the girl prepared to hit the thing, with a patethic super human, but still pathetic attack.
When the arm disappeared into the creature, Aya was now on its dark surface, and immediately began to hit it to no avail.
It took a simple punch to realize that it was useless from her to attack that thing from there.

Ay the very least, she tried.
"Damnit!" she roared in frustration, stomping down with a foot with all her strength.
It was useless to remain there, unless she wanted to be melt by a random next high powered energy attack directed there.

Then, right next to her a giant blade emerged from the monster with an alarming speed. The edge of that blade shone right next to her face as her eyes widened. A bright silver line of alien steel bursted out and took out a distant ship.
Every ounce of courage Aya could have faded away for the surprise.

----

Naja reappeared on the opposite side of the monster, floating above the water. Somehow she knew that the eyeless being could see her even from behind, but she still had to give it a try.
The air around her began to move in a spiral, and after two long seconds a powerful vertical gust was thrown at the creature, followed by a stream of similar attacks.
"I won't let you destroy this world!" she roared.

From that position, she could see explosions on the beast doing nothing. Even her assault was obviously useless. Yet, Naja didn't want to stop.

When the huge blade erupted from the crature, her eyes caught the figure of Aya over there, an inch away from being ripped apart.
They moved to the Challenger when her ears heard the sund of its metal being torn. It felt like the scream of a dying animal.

Naja was furious. Did they really could do nothing at all? Impossible...unacceptable!

The arm raised the impaled ship above like it had no weight, throwing it down on the huge robot that stopped its claw.
The robot crumbled under that assault like it was made of wood, disappearing out of sight beind the creature.
Still, its explosion could be heard very well even from there.

Things didn't turn out so well for Heleth.
The little red demon was too close to the trajectory of the conglomeration made of Hyakuzor, the Challenger, and an insanely big metal blade falling from above.

Her attempt to run away was barely successful. She was just out of the point of impact, but not far enough to avoid the explosive blast.
The flames and the burst of air of the explosion enveloped her, pushing the girl away like a grain of dust.
Heleth shielded her face, and her hair grew as fast as possible to shield her.
She could not see anything, but she felt everything.
The heat, the push, the horrifying sensation of no ground below, the impact with the wall, the concrete breaking and her body passing through, her skin being scratched, the impact with the asphalt and the sudden stop against another wall.
Not to mention the ground again.
"Curses!" she roared as she stood up, her hair regrowing and moving on her relatively small scracthes on all her body.
Luckily for the girl, her inhuman toughness allowed her to survive such a thing with negligible damage.
Her dual layered eyes stared in dismay at the flaming wreckage crushed beneath that immense blade.

-----

From her downed position, Amelia's field of view ws limited to the sky above and the raindrops hitting her face.
She could hear the sound of the weapons used on the monster, and she wondered if anything damaged the monster.
A close, booming sound nearly deafened her, and the woman jerked in surprise when a wall close to her was shattered by something.
Small debris fell on her and she moved her head to look around.
A surprisingly red skinned girl with green hair was moving to a stand position. Strands of her hair were moving on her arms, sliding above the scratches she had. It didn't took long for Amelia to realize that girl was the thing that passed through the wall.
As her inner wounds were mostly healed, the doctor decided she could move to a sitting position as well.
"Damn" she said "Are you all right?"
"Just scratches..." the short girl replied "we'd better get out of here"
Amelia forced herself to stand up. Her wounds were mostly ok now, and whatever pain remained in her muscles was about to disappear in a matter of seconds.
Staring through the hole in the wall, Amelia's red eyes saw the wreckages.
"You can leave. I can't" she said
"What!?" Heleth replied in surprise "Are you nuts!? Hey, where are you going!?"
Stumbling a little at first, Amelia was moving toward Hyakuzor. She had to check if someone was still alive and could be saved. It was her duty as a medic after all. And possibly, it was the only thing she could do to help in that situation.
"Oooh, curses!" Heleth began to follow her.

"Malédiction!"
with a hand on his hat, Frederic was still running away. Unfortunately, he could do nothing at all from there, and despite his brain trying to come up with something, nothing viable could seem to appear in his mind.
The short lived telepathic link was shattered, and all he managed to decide was to run away.
Finally, his eyes caught a glimpse of the Survival Studies teacher sending a ball of energy toward the monster.
The TA diverted his run toward her. At the very least, he could talk with someone as he waited to see what was going to happen, instead of dying like an idiot running away!

-----

When the robots above shouted their messages, Aya's heart skipped a beat. She didn't know if her abilities were supernatural or not, but a thing was certain: she was too far from anything to go back.
"It's your fault!" she roared to the monster below her, as she began hitting it with kicks and punches "It's your stupid fault!"

Most of the people getting close and personal were retreating, and she felt like she had no choice but to rest there.
To hell everything, she'd just keep pummeling that thing, useless or not, that was her only option back there.
Or that was what she thought.
Naja Sybaris materialized beside her from air itself.
"Take my hand!" she ordered.
Instinctively, Aya did how instructed.
The two transformed into air and diappeared from sight.

Ufufufufufufufufufu...
Nothing.

This scene, playing out before her, flying slowly through the air before landing, giving an instinctive kick to sail once more, slowly retreating from this...THING. Despair. All the explosions, all the energy beams, nothing. Would the only option be to retreat? To burrow away, hiding and forgetting that this danger exists, until reminded once more?

Confusion. That THING, that mind-defying THING, that THING which Ami continued trying to slowly rationalize, contrary to her gut and mind. It's mouth was an abyss that stared back. It speared the battleship. It brung the metal hunk straight down on the robot. Easily.

If all this firepower couldn't stop it, what could? What could be done? There was the unstoppable thing that could possibly be killed, but where was the immovable object to oppose this...? She wasn't one, at the moment. Her ability can't do anything to something that can't be touched, much less incomprehensible.

And this rain was cold, said the minor part of her head that wasn't giving off rapidfire thoughts of attempted planning.

Quote:

“ALL SUPERNATURAL USERS RETREAT 200 METERS AWAY FROM THE MAIN BODY. MAGICAL NULLIFICATION WILL COMMENCE IN ONE MINUTE.”

...Well, there's the small solace of her ability being of purely scientific, so there's that. The one island of purely hypothetical happiness with the carnage around her. But... "Retreat...It'll push forward..." Even if only the supernatural people were forced back, it still was a sizable force, or so Ami surmised. And if those didn't make it out in time...

Quote:

"Listen, everyone that can't get away in time! Raise your left hand and close your eyes. It might hurt a bit, but you'll be safe, okay?"

Minor problem, meet solution. But the force will be decreased. To the detriment of humanity.

"But...if it looked elsewhere? Or, or...Heard something..."

That's right. The little that was comprehended...It had an eye. Or at least, what was perceived as one. And a mouth, an endless mouth that had no end. Even if, even if it wasn't of this world...

"Does it even hear..." Hearing. It was incomprehensible by normal reality, but the chance was impossibly there. So she chose to believe. At the next landing, she stopped her backwards motion, crouching down and jumping back towards the...THING, whatever it was. The moving hunk of metal was fresh in her mind, although it was masked by the battleship exploding right on it. What's to say that the big robot didn't have an equally powerful set of speakers on it?

Ami couldn't help chuckling to herself at the multitude of things she chose to believe in, the rational person that she was. Assumption upon assumption upon assumption. Insanity, though she wasn't repeating the same choices. Was this par for the course for the end of humanity?

But if it helped, why ask rational questions?
