Yeah, I know I barely had her any time. But I think I can do more with Lucella than with Isabelle.

Hyakuji 2.0 Template

Character Name: Lucella Astara
Gender: Female
Age: 400
Height:
3' 5” (Humanoid Form)
12' 2” (Dragon Form)

Weight:
46.2 Lbs (Humanoid Form)
A Lot (Dragon Form)

Description or Image of Character Appearance:
Normal

Dragon Form

Occupation:
Priestess of Naga

Powers/ Abilities:

Manakete
As a Manakete, as long as she has her Dragon Stone, Lucella is capable of shifting into her Divine Dragon form, the element she's aligned with. While not divine in her own right, her flames have a property comparable to holy-element attacks. While her dragon form has claws, they aren't any sharper than normal steel. She can still speak in dragon form.

The process of transformation is fairly straightforward. Lucella must have physical contact with a Dragon Stone, which usually infers drawing it like a weapon, then invoke by will. After than, she is enveloped in light, before transforming into her larger dragon form in roughly two seconds. Taking an attack in that transformative stage is somewhat more damaging, and she can expect a wound dealt during that time to deal x1.5 normal damage. Any non-living items on her person disappear while in her dragon form. If she's knocked out, she reverts to humanoid form.

Lucella's Dragon Form is 12' 2" high when on all fours. The length from the tip of her snout to the base of her tail is roughly 18'. Another 18' is added when including her tail.

Lucella can safely maintain dragon form for four posts. She may maintain it for a fifth post, at the cost of causing physical strain that weakens what she can do in the fifth turn, as well as for three turns in her humanoid form. The fifth turn is usually used in an emergency, such as in case she couldn't land during the fourth turn. After she spends three posts in humanoid form (four if she takes the fifth turn), she can take dragon form once more.

In terms of physical strength, her dragon form tends to be imposing, but this is more a property of sheer size than actual power.
- Claws: Her claws are sharp, but not 'razor sharp'. A strike from her claws could be compared to a strike from an untrained, but physically strong human with an steel longsword in damage, after calculating her strength.
- Tail Strike: More accurate due to its length, but less powerful. It is slightly more damaging than being slugged by a circus strongman.
- Toughness: In her dragon form, Lucella's durability could be compared to a particularly tough predatory animal, like a lion, wolf, or bear, scaled up to her size. This means that before considering her feathers, her toughness is roughly enough to compensate for how easily she can be hit. Lucelle has 'squishy child wizard' toughness in humanoid form.
- Strength: In dragon form, Lucella can carry roughly 600 Lbs. on her back. This is enough for her to carry 3 men who are 6' 3" on her back while flying. In her human form, despite looking even younger, Lucella is about as a strong as a reasonably athletic (but overall unremarkable) 10-year old human.
- Speed: On land, she can only run about 3 times normal human speed, mostly due to her gait. Lucella can move about as quickly as the average 14-year old in humanoid form.

Flight
Lucella is capable of sustained flight in her dragon form, and can travel at a speed around 50 Miles Per Hour. She's is capable of carrying three normal sized humans on her back during flight, assuming they hang on, although she'll find carrying more than one slightly tiring, and be more tired when carrying three.

Holy Breath
Lucella can breath a gout of golden flame from her mouth. While it doesn't set things on fire, and isn't truly divine, it does leave burns on the target, and has properties comparable to traditional holy effects. While she can only use it twice per transformation (and even then, not on consecutive turns), it's fairly powerful. The effect of taking the full gout does damage comparable to taking a hit from a beach-ball sized red fireball, at the intensity that Lucella can currently get it at. Granted, considering that people will be trying to dodge, it's unlikely someone will get hit by the full thing.

Archery
A method for Lucella to defend herself with while in her humanoid form, Lucella is a reasonably accomplished archer, and has casually pursued archery as a hobby for hundreds of years. She's also capable of using it to defend herself, while she isn't able to defend herself physically. That being said, there are limitations.

First, due to being physically a child, she's physically restricted in what she can wield, meaning that she can only wield a shortbow, and has to wield it as if she were wielding a longbow. Second, due to her weaker strength, she can't draw her bow as well.

Note that while certainly skilled, her archery can't match those who've dedicated their life. This means that her archery is going to be significantly worse than most people who have archery as a power.

Equipment You Have:
Dragon Stone
Recurve Short Bow and Arrows

Residency Request:
A small house

Personality Description:
At a glance, Lucella is far from being the child she appears to be. She tends to be wise, mature, and calm, even motherly. She's deeply spiritual, and cares about those in her congregation. Even more than that, Lucella cares about those she mentors, treating them as if they were her own children. She does, however, tend to be smothering and nosy in their affairs, although she can be persuaded to back off fairly easily, though she tends to forget when she's told, or can't resist.
While she's used to it by now, she dislikes being treated like the child she really is, and tends to hide her interests and traits that would be considered to be childish. She doesn't tell people about the toys and candy she has stashed, and can throw a tantrum when angered enough. If she's hurt, she often tends to cry. She hides it, and will pretend like she's just an adult in a child's body.

Personal History:
Lucella is a manakete, a race of humanoids that can take a dracon form when they possess an item known as a 'Dragon Stone' as a sort of catalyst for their transformation. Despite this, manaketes physically mature slowly, often having childhoods lasting eight hundred years.

Lucella was hatched like most manketes were, and was raised with her siblings by her parents. Manketes don't wait until they 'fully mature' to depart from the nest, considering how long physically maturing can take. Still, for the era Lucella was born in, she was educated rather well, and had a happy family life. She came to appreciate Naga, a dragonic goddess said to have once been a manakete herself, and who loved all species, and was trained as a woman of the cloth.

Once she finally left the nest and entered the real world, however, she immediately started encountering problems. First and foremost was that her child-like appearance caused others not to take her seriously. Despite the fact that she was able to raise the coin to do so, no artisan or stonemason took her seriously, even when she readily proved she had precious metals she could pay. When a stone church was abandoned after a fire destroyed it, she was able to renovate it, with time and effort, into a rudamentary temple of Naga. She'd have to stay in it for quite some time; no matter what she tried, manaketes and the supernatural were just rare enough to where by the time people started taking her seriously, they were too old to help. Only her own congregation, and other manaketes seemed to take her seriously at all.

When her church was finally condemned hundreds of years later, she knew she wouldn't be able to get another church in her town. Considering how she was sick of not being taken seriously, she was more than willing to leave the congregation to a younger half-dragon priestess who was looking to start a congregation in town.

She was surprised when she was able to get a building in Hyakuji, and is hoping that she'll be taken seriously for once, and not be treated like some kid.

Mashed Potatoes?
Mmm... Puddin- Err, what I meant to say is that the proof is in the pudding.
