Hyakuji 2.0 Template Character Name: Lucian L. (Lovwin) Regal Gender: Male Age: 19 Height: 5'11 Weight: 145 Description or Image of Character Appearance: 'Ere be 'e, govnas All right, let's get on with the show! Where to start... Let's go with his skin first. Lucian has a sorta tan-ish complexion, not really tan, but not quite 'white' altogether either. Lucian's skin, despite being a self proclaimed brawler, is also curiously untouched, though he does have a scar here and there. They've just healed over the years, and they weren't very big to begin with, seeing as they were from stupid stuff like not punching correctly or an accidental knife to the foot. Stupid little things like that. His hair is a bit wavy and spikey, and it goes to the left. Lucien keeps it in fairly good condition, because it never hurts to look nice when conversing with other people, right? His teeth are also in fairly good condition. He brushes a lot. Though it's also for a more practical reason. Who wants all that gunk to build up in their mouths? You certainly shouldn't, nor should the person you're trying to talk to! It's just nasty man! Ghk. Other than that, Lucien has a rather lithe build, built for a lot of speed. He does have a six pac, and his arms aren't that skinny either, but he's mostly a speedy kind of guy. He keeps healthy from having to run around so much, cardio and all that. Occupation: Student Grade Level: Freshman Powers/ Abilities: Powers - Hamon Style Breathing Abilities Equipment You Have: Hamon Multiform Gloves Pocket and Hip Flask: Two flasks Lucian carries on him, the one on his hip has oil within it, while the other simply has water. Journal: A simple journal for recording things in, thoughts, memories, feelings, etc. Residency Request: Yuki Schedule: Homeroom Teacher: Hiro 1) Suvival Studies 2) Supernatural Studies 3) History Personality Description: Overall, Lucien is a bright, happy person. He does what he can when he can, and puts a hundred percent of himself into it. It's just how he was raised. He's generally a good guy, and helps out others in need if they need it. He does have a little bit of a 'hero' streak. It's simple really, he likes doing good things, and likes punishing those who are wicked. On the surface, he seems like a rather straightforward kind of guy. For the most part, he is. However, in battle, his whole personality changes. Especially for difficult battles, his banter and attitude drops away to reveal an extremely focused fighter. Whether fighting one person or multiple people at once, he keeps his calm, and simply focuses on the fight. It's simply how his mind operates under the duress of battle. He acts as a professional while fighting, or as close to a professional as he can act. Being angry doesn't help, nor does letting emotion get in the way. He keeps calm and carries on. However, he will inflict righteous fury upon you if you do somehow manage to get him angry. This is generally reserved for enemies though. For friends, the most he would get is perhaps a bit miffed at them. For enemies though. . . Yeah. Nassomuch. He will not hesitate to kill you, screw your Freudian excuse or whatever family you might have! You're setting a horrible example for them! He isn't, however, stupid. He does know the world generally operates on the shades of gray and not just black and white. He's aware of the lines between the distinctions and all of that. Sometimes morally ambiguous acts are used to make a greater good. He still doesn't really like that, as he believes that there are more than one way to get those things done, but he does understand why people do it. He doesn't approve of it, but he does understand. Personal History: Born in America, moved to London, further moved to Japan, Lucian L. Regal's life had been an interesting ride so far. Lucian's family always had been a little off, to him at least. Both his father and his mother would vanish randomly throughout the year, leaving random notes and the like as the only evidence of their passing. Sometimes they'd vanish alone, or together. Sometimes it was for days at a time, while the others stretched into half a year and beyond. It was something that bothered Lucian, but he had learned to cope with it over the years. He did end up being lonely, however. Being an only child didn't really help with that either. At the very least, his family was fairly well off. He didn't have a butler or anything, but he did have access to all sorts of novel entertainments to distract himself while they were away. All was pretty good for Lucian, considering the things that were going on in his life. He went to school, made friends, did stuff a teenager would do, you know, regular stuff. His parents dropped by from time to time, and he cherished the moments he did have with them. They were honestly nice and caring people, but they always seemed to be troubled or tired when they got back. Stiff moving at times as well, as if they were injured or the like. They never really showed it, though, and it was rare that Lucian would see this. Ultimately, he didn't really pay it any mind. It wasn't like it was important, right? Well, it wasn't. . . Until, three months after he had last seen his parents, a message was delivered that both of them were in intensive care in some hospital. He could vaguely recall it being far away, a year after said incident, but at the time he just hadn't cared. All he knew was that his parents were in trouble, and that was enough for him. He forgot how long it had taken him, but when he arrived, his mother was in stable condition, but still in a light coma, while his father was, for the most part, stablized, but injured quite a bit. Upon being told he could not see them at the moment, Lucian promptly rented a room at a nearby hotel. Come the next morning, Lucian once again barged into the hospital. Or well, he did the first time, but was quickly reminded by a staff member that bursting violently into a hospital generally was frowned upon. Getting to his father, he demanded to know what had happened. His father attempted all manners of diversions, one which even worked, before he gave in after a bit of a heated discussion. While there were merits for hiding his, and his wife's, secrets from their son, the downsides were a bit worse, now. Nodding to himself in resignation, Lucian's father called Lucian over, deeply breathed in. . . And promptly slamed his hand into his son's gut with an angled upward strike with his hand, biting back a curse as he opened up some wounds. It wasn't the best idea, but hey, it got the job done. The strike had forced all the air out of Lucian's lungs, but. . . While he struggled to regain his breath, something else happened as well. Something running through his body. . . His father calmly explained what he had done, what his mother and himself had been doing, and why they did it. They were wielders of an energy known as Ripple, or Hamon in japanese. Where and when they acquired it he wouldn't say, but he did tell his son what they did. Simply put, they acted as vampire and zombie elimination specialists, along with a few others in the region. Ripple was created to counter the undead, as his father had said, and he had just awakened Lucian's own Ripple with the strike. With that explained, and not willing to explain anything else at the moment, Lucian was a bit stuck. He had no idea what to do, what to think, and was basically confused to high hell. His father, however, offered a solution. While he himself had never been to the place, quite a few of his colleagues had recommended it to him, if his son ever got into the 'family business'. An odd japanese school, with an even odder cast attending it. . . Brushing up on his Japanese for the next few months, as well as basic Ripple training overseen by his father, in wheelchair for the next six months, Lucian eventually enrolled at the mysterious school steeped in rumors and myths. . . Hyakuji High School. Being that he was nineteen at the time, and he was enrolling as a freshman, he was a little embarrassed. That would change in time, however. The stage is set, the pieces in place, the actors come out. . . and the director's hand falls. Let the show begin. . . Mashed Potatoes? . . . The 'ell are you talkin' about mate? Mashed potatoes? On what?! You didn't even bring me a bloody plate for the things! Not even a fork, not a single simple frigging spoon! There was no spoon! No utensils of any kind! Bah, sod off, I'm gonna have to call your manager about this, quality service my right bumpkin. . . Edited by Lucian L. Regal, May 26 2014, 10:29 PM.
