"Yer bloody right it does! Bring it!" The ogre that had struck Seth gave out a roar as the boy rose from his landing with a yell, the two seeming almost like brothers of separate species. The much, much bigger of the two caught the metal container that was thrown their way, bracing himself against the floor. His sandals made a horrid, irritating sound as they scratched against the floor, then followed by the scratching of the metal of the shipping container, before both finally stopped. The ogre had come to a halt, and grinned as, one hand holding the metal frame so it didn't just get smacked away, he thrust one hand through the container. The other followed suit whilst the first held a grip, and with both inside, the old, rusty container was ripped in two, now like a pair of far, far over sized boxing gloves for the creature who now wielded it.

And naturally, such was how he proceeded to use them, charging at Seth before swinging the remnants of the container, trying to crush the lad like an unruly bug. Of course, there were things to be said about bugs with disproportionate strength...

Unfortunately for Lucid, despite her excitement about the matter - as she had with many things, really - her efforts to pull the same trick as Jonny's evident lookalike were met with disappointment. Her butt cheeks pressed against the mirror, not through it, and to make the whole thing even more embarrassing, the mirror was capable of flipping. And so it rolled on its stand, liable to throw Lucid, if she were not able to properly right herself, straight into some of the crates nearby. Painful for sure, but something that could be easily gotten up from...
Though she'd probably want to avoid the ones falling from above.

"Three! Ha!" The ogre with his attention on Akiko, it seemed, was a bit of a smart alec, proudly proclaiming his ability to spout off a number in quick time. He subsequently showed his ability to spout off swears like a sailor mere seconds after, as she fired off some kind of air blast into his eye, just as he sent several crates flying about. Several seconds were spent trying to recover, time in which Akiko was able to summon her Sylph...
"I won't go down like my brother!" Unfortunately, aiming for its neck seemed to snap it right out of its daze, as the big brute caught the more graceful figure. It attempted to squeeze the air from the creature's lungs, but, clearly content to toy around, then tried to toss the Sylph back at her master like a ragdoll.

From there, the ogre advanced towards the girl, deliberate stomping harder so as to kick up dust and debris from the building's age. With a small cloud in his path, he charged, one arm reaching arm to try and clasp one of the two women in his path, and ram them against a wall!

"Oh, I've not a clue where your boyfriend's been, aside of that nonsense involving 'Olympians'. Really, and I thought the Red Lion was silly as a pub name..." Harriet seemed to not give much notice to Selene's sudden rise of anger, simply stepping along as the corporate heiress managed to - much to the assailant's surprise - kick off the catgirl with a decent amount of strength. Sadly though, by the time Selene scrambled for her ritual dagger, it had already been retrieved...
"Nice little trinket though. Add it to my collection." And the welsh girl was lightly tossing it in her hands, before slipping it onto her belt as she swung a fairly strong leg right at Selene's face.

"If you're worried I'll kill ya though, don't be." Another Alice - the other still recovering from being winded - dropped down, giving her nyahahaha as she tried to pin Selene down again, this time making sure to aim for the girl's back instead of the front. Of course, not so much element of surprise this time.
"That was to tarnish your boy's rep for good, since he's nowhere in sight. You though... I plan to add to my collection as well." In the meantime, Harriet now aimed her fists at Selene's face, followed by a foot swung at the side.
"Because my mother is in jail thanks to you and your stupid lover! Because you two couldn't keep your noses out of our business!" The girl's rather selective memory was clearly at play, but her delightful on psychotic smile gave way to a cold, cruel sneer, as she pulled out some kind of pill.

"Now, you're going to go to sleep, and once you wake up, my fun begins." Now it was Harriet's to try and force herself on Selene, specifically, with one gloved hand aiming to catch the girl's lower jaw, and try to force down her throat the unknown concoction...
"...Ack! Urk! Argh!" Until she was suddenly... choking? The pill no longer in her hands. Harriet fell back towards the floor, and in a stunned shock, Alice - and many multiple clones that now revealed themselves - rushed to the girl's side.

"...Guess I kept you waiting?"

A gentle voice rose up from behind Selene, followed by a familiar, warm embrace...

"Huuh?!" Lucid tucked and rolled, landing on her feet just behind the mirror. Wow, that was weird. Perhaps it was magicked so only certain people could go in. She poked the mirror, then shrugged as she grabbed it. With a giggle, she lifted the mirror up and began running off with it as she looked for the person who could tell her how to use it.

Using the fact that everybody else inside the warehouse was currently preoccupied, and weren't dumb enough to turn their backs to the enem- Okay, maybe they might have been. Lucid would find out soon.

She managed to reach the door, and booted it open with a giggle. As the hinges broke and the door fell, she leapt out and started asking her question very quickly.

"HeySelenehowdoIusethis-" She was pointing to the mirror when she noticed the scene had changed.

Oh, look. Real Jonny. What a coincidence. And look, a bunch of people she totally didn't know. Yeah, that was probably fake Jonny and fake Jonny's friend times 20. Wow, those criminals looked familiar. Hmm. Oh well, paid to protect her, don't care. She smiled and nodded, not caring if the pink haired girl looked her way.

"Ooooh, I see." She laughed. "You sure chose a good time to come back from Mount Olympus, actual Jonny. Learned a lot from the Greek pantheon?"

----

John, in the meantime, had a dilemma. He knew Seth better, but it seemed like the girl needed more help. Hmm. Well, looks like he had to go for the latter, then. Climbing onto a container close to the path of the ogre's charge, he leapt off of it and aimed himself at the monster's face.

"YOU CANNOT EAT ME, FIEND!"

Oh, reverse psychology. What an interesting concept, really.

His plan was simple. If he was conductive, then he could be a channel for the girl's lightning to the ogre's insides. And he was reasonably sure that'd be non-lethal, given the ogre's purported incredible resilience. So surely things would work out fine, correct?

Oh what, he's actually yelling back. And fighting back. Actually Seth was already taken aback when the ogre yelled back first, but since that's over with early he could actually concentrate on not being flattened by the grossly oversized hunk of metal boxing gloves.

You know, the sight of a giant ogre probably twice, three times his height flailing a huge hunk of metal container on each hands charging right at him was actually a bit terrifying.

Not if he could help it! As underwhelmingly small as he is compared to his opponent, one thing he could always take pride of is how much more agile he could be. All he needed was one, two, three leaps back to avoid being flattened by the falling metal container! "Kehehe, you're surprisingly pretty strong...!" He said with a small grin forming-

Before kicking off the ground and into the air towards the ogre! "Though you would've had a better change coming at me with your brother instead!" Instead of throwing any direct attacks at him however, the young man opted to instead rapidly kick down on the metal container halves on the ogre's hands, each time with very deafening gongs echoing violently throughout the warehouse, in an attempt to completely flatten the metal pieces and anchor the ogre's fists with them onto the floor! "Should've picked on someone your own size!"

Ending with an equally powerful kick to the face!

"Bloody hell!" Tried as she might, Selene simply couldn't move fast enough as Harriet beat the corporate heiress to the punch at retrieving the dropped weapon. Failing to retrieve her ritual dagger, the pumpkin-haired girl would instead end up receiving a kick to the face for her troubles. With a grunt of pain, Selene reeled from the blow to land on her side. Before the corporate heiress could recover from the kick, she would find herself being seized from behind and securely pinned by Alice, or rather one of her simulacra. Finding herself caught in a rather hopeless situation, there was little Selene could do, save to glare defiantly at Harriet as the pink-haired girl commenced her taunts.

Even after taking a couple of punches to the face that left a bruise on the corporate heiress' cheek and a kick to the side, the fire in her eyes refused to go out. "Then I'll make you regret this decision," Selene hissed in response to Harriet's proposal to keep the corporate heiress around; presumably as a slave or plaything. "You'd better make sure I am keep under close watch at all times, or you will be sorry the moment your back is turned," the pumpkin-haired girl glowered at her pink-haired counterpart.

"Stay out of your business? Don't make me laugh!" Selene retorted, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she let loose a derisive laugh at the other girl's rather blatant case of self-serving memory and moral myopia. "You people brought this upon yourselves when you tried to establish operations in Japan AND implicate Cerium-sensei in the process!" the pumpkin-haired girl snarled, remembering clearly how they managed to implicate Cerium in their crimes by making the then gym teacher their unwitting accomplice. "You picked the wrong city and wrong group of people to fuck with!"

And so the battle of words would rage on, until Harriet upped the ante by seizing Selene by the face, forcing the corporate heiress' jaws apart as the pink-haired girl attempted to force-feed a pill to her. What the pill does, Selene did not know - and didn't really want to know - but judging from Harriet's choice of words, it wasn't a stretch of the mind to presume it was meant to "placate" the corporate heiress. "What's the matter, Harriet? Am I too saucy for you to handle?" came Selene's garbled taunts as the girl remained defiant to the end; even as the corporate heiress felt that she was reaching the final curtain, she wasn't about to give Harriet the satisfaction of an easy victory. "As expected of a thug, relying on intimidation and force to silence the opposition when logic fails."

"And that's all she said," Selene thought as she closed her eyes to brace herself for (technically) the end, meeting her impending fate with dignity and a dissonant serenity, maintaining a stiff upper lip worthy of her British highborn upbringing. "Sorry about this, Jonny. Looks like I can't live up to my promise to take The Musketeers - you, me, Yuki-chan and Seth-kun... all of us - for a cross-continental tour of Europe in the summer. I just pray that you won't let your righteous rage lead you to repeat the mistakes of yesteryear once you learn of what has happened to me... but otherwise, promise me you'll go out there and kick their arses for me, aye?"

Instead of losing consciousness as she'd expect however, the sound of Harriet falling back and choking caused Selene to open her eyes, only to find the pink-haired girl on her back, being tended to by Alice and her simulacra. "Well hello there..." the corporate heiress murmured at the sight, only to stiffen in surprise at Jonny's voice - and a warm hug - coming from behind. "It could only be..." With the cat out of the bag regarding the impostor Jonny, it could only mean this was the real McCoy; and with this revelation in mind the corporate heiress' vision began to blur as she found herself losing control over her tear ducts. "Took you long enough..." Selene remarked, somehow forcing a smile onto her bruised face.

"Look, the sentimental stuff can wait - for now, business comes first," the corporate heiress remarked as she tried to nudge herself out of Jonny's embrace so that she could turn around to face him, and it would be the first time they'd seen each other face-to-face since the super speedster went on his mission in Olympus.

"Really, I'm sorry. I didn't even realise what was going on here, till..." The voice from behind Selene began an attempt at an explanation, before finding itself trailing off as Selene pulled free, and turned to face him. Jonny had... grown a bit, since he'd last seen his girlfriend. His hair and been allowed to grow out some more, he seemed to have put on a bit of muscle, and... he'd evidently gained some armour whilst he was away, covering his legs and upper torso, whilst parts of his clothes were all beaten up. Yet there was an undeniable smile on his face, as he gave Selene a chance to take it all in, and even as she said there was no time to be sentimental...
He leaned in, and laid a quick kiss on her forehead.

"You bastard!" Several of Alice's clones screeched in unison as they leapt at Jonny, whilst others continued to scramble in aiding Harriet, taking to the Heimlich manoeuvre. Unfortunately for them, all they were met by was the sudden flurry of fists that came from the lad, smashing them all into oblivion. Not much to their resilience anyway, being beings born of a mirror, but nevertheless, they were dealt with quickly, and efficiently. When he slowed back down, Jonny was lightly hopping up and down, breathing in lightly.
"You'll probably want this back." He tossed Selene her ritual dagger, still confident and smiling, when-

"HeySelenehowdoIusethis-"

"Huh?" With a quick flick, Jonny turned his head towards the sudden appearance from the warehouse, blinking twice. Oh no, her.
"What are you even doing here...?" And who had told her anything about Olympus? The boy blinked again - what, was his time amongst actual, literal gods and goddesses suddenly gossip now?
"DIE!" Jonny didn't have much chance to receive an answer though, instead having to quickly sidestep to avoid receiving several knives to the face. As he did so, Selene would have to face similar, a simultaneous strike on their position...

And then a familiar gas began to fill the scene.

"Don't breathe it in!" Yelling once before diving back, Jonny recognised Harriet's strange, noxious ability, given how it had knocked him out long ago. He was sure if simple inhalation would've been enough to put him flat, but it could easily throw him off, which for a speedster, was pretty important to not let happen. He pondered briefly what might have been in the girl's intended drug, had she not opted to use this power... But then he realised that was not the intent, even as she weakly struggled not to fall unconscious. Her gas wafted towards Lucid and the mirror, a cover through which they intended to escape.

And unfortunately, not wishing to soak up the cloud, that's exactly what happened.

Of course, one would have to wonder how Lucid would react to getting a face full of knock out capable gas...

"I DAMN WELL CAN!" A challenge! The ogre, on seeing the approaching lad, opened its maw, then brought it down like an iron vice!
...Only to find instead of meat, there was instead an explosion of liquid into his mouth. All at once. Some several dozen kilograms of person pouring down all at once, and funny enough, ogres have lungs too. And now one was drowning, on dry land, because there was a whole lot of jello inside its windpipe.
As it floundered against the floor, shaking and thumping the ground, it struggled to cough up that inside it. But if it could not... it was gonna be out like a light, and any longer after that, probably worse...

The other ogre was having a fairly better time, at least at first glance. Though his fists missed Seth several times, he still seemed quite eager, even bringing his fists down with a glorious roar...
Only to find them kind of stuck a moment later. The creature had barely a chance to flinch in shock, trying to pull back, before a powerful blow was struck against its cheek. It reeled, managing to now rip itself free of at least one mangled bit of crate, and with that freedom, tried to retaliate. It feel back, winding up, before attempting to meet Seth back with a familiar looking haymaker!

It's actually honestly nice to see the kind of determination this... ogre has. He certainly looks like he's enjoying the pummeling, even though not many if at all could even hit his target.

Just too bad that he lacks grace. "Same trick won't work twice, big guy!" With the absence of the element of surprise, it was easy to see where the fist is coming from and where it's going. All he needed to evade it was a light step to the side and a sharp twist of his body-

Before wrapping his arms around the ogre's humongous forearm-! "Now for something I should've asked you before we started...!" With his herculean strength the ogre would find it to be impossible to release himself from the young man, enough to soon feel his hand going numb- "Who the hell are you guys and why are you doing this?!"

The ogre would immediately after feel a sharp and powerful tug forward as Seth went and performed a superpowered judo throw on him!

Mission accomplished! Real Jonny was wary of something, so he couldn't stop the duo from escaping. Once Harriet and Alice made eye contact with her, Lucid gave them a knowing wink. There, now they knew she was on their side. Good job team, get ready for the next rou- Hey wait, what was that gas? Don't breathe it in? Well, better hold her breath!

She waited for the criminals to get through before she tipped the mirror over. Oh, yes. That would close the escape route behind them.

Now, time to play it off as an accid-

She ran off. No explanations, she just ran off in a random direction. Damn it, Lucid.

----

Meanwhile, John was gobbled up in one bite. Whew. If he hadn't been a jelly being, he would've died right there. Of course, this was rather smelly, so he just wanted to finish this as soon as he could.

He just stayed in the windpipe, clinging on as best he could as the disgusting swill inside the ogre spilled onto him. And then into him. Eww. Ewwww. Oh, dear Lord. He would have to take a long bath to flush the contaminants out of his body.

If he let go, he wouldn't be able to climb out in time to prevent a fatality. For the ogre's sake, he had to maintain his position until he could evacuate himself through the mouth and let the hulk breathe again.

"Stay away from me, I smell terrible!" He yelled up to his friends, not sure if they could hear him.

And for the first time since the group parted ways at Olympus, the corporate heiress laid eyes on her super speedster boyfriend. He still looked like he always had for the most part, albeit a tad beat-up and appearing slightly more toned than she remembered. And then of course there was that spiffy set of armor he'd acquired, although the story of how he got his hands on that would have to wait. "For real, Jonny," the corporate heiress chuckled as the super speedster kissed her gently on the forehead before turning his attention back to the task at hand.

"Looks like you're getting better and better at this," Selene mused as the simulacra of Alice tried to attack Jonny by flanking him from multiple angles, only for the super speedster to get the better of them by combining his speed with skill, knocking the air out of them.

"Cor blimey, Lucid what are you doing out here!?" Selene gasped as she spotted Bizarro-Yuki come running out from the warehouse with a mirror in her hands. "I heard a commotion inside, what happened-" Before the corporate could demand an explanation out of Lucid for what was going on, she would find herself on the receiving end of a multi-pronged attack - with Jonny having to avoid a hail of thrown knives, while Harriet pulled another trick out from under her sleeve.

"I'm not falling for the same trick twice!" the corporate heiress exclaimed as she pulled back to get out of range of the knock-out gas, having tasted it firsthand before... only to find that Lucid, her ally on board that undead-infested hulk, had just sold out on them by offering the mirror to Harriet and Alice. "No! Not the mirror, they're going to..." Knowing full well what Red Lion agents could do with mirrors, it just meant they were about to make good an escape!

"Valkyrie, I summon thee!" There wasn't even time for Selene to curse the turn of events, instead her priorities shifted to not letting the bad guys get away. With a field of floating holographic runes surrounding her, the corporate heiress performed an accelerated version of her Ritual of Blood, expending extra energy to complete the spell in an instant. And in a column of white light radiating from a glowing blue-white summoning circle, a Valkyrie was summoned into the world - except that it may already be too late!

And indeed, too late it was, as Harriet slipped through the mirror, and Alice shortly thereafter. The flipping of the mirror was a somewhat unnecessary capstone, but it certainly worked to make the image clear. The dastardly duo were gone, and without any way to follow, no one was going to be giving them any real chase.
The same was not necessarily true of the one who enabled their escape though.
"Mind having your valkyrie deal with the runaway miscreant?" Gesturing in Lucid's current direction of flight - of the fight or flight variety - Jonny knew a single burst of speed would be all the asgardian warrior would require, and so turned his attention to more immediate matters.

First, getting rid of this cloud, which considering its density and likely weight, wouldn't necessarily go away all on its own. Taking a moment to measure up its current area, he gave a small nod to himself once that was done, before picking off at a heavy pace. Around and around, he circled the unknown but dangerous cloud, his turbulence slowly turning into a vortex of its own. More and more, the air began to spun, and with it rise, dragging Harriet's creation along for the ride. It eventually ejected from the tap as if in a wide spray - too wide, in fact, for it to ultimately have any effect as it subsequently spread beyond its limits, and was soon indistinguishable from the air around it. Aside of perhaps a foul taste.

That done, his attentions turned to the warehouse where his friends had been lured, and taking the entrance that Lucid had opened, the boy speedster raced inside...!
To find two oversized ogres knocked out on the floor - one from its head being smashed into the floor by a certain teen's toss, whilst the other seemed to be just trying to get air back.
"...I travel through multiple levels of the underworld and almost six thousand miles to get here, and you guys don't even need my help?" The 'disappointment' was largely a joke, with Jonny actually managing to let a laugh escape his lips as he looked at the small group.

"Looks like the Red Lion mice tried to play whilst the cat was away... which is funny when, you know." Lion, cat, yeah. You get the idea. In any case...
"Man I missed you guys." Jonny would all of a sudden rush in to give his long friends in waiting a couple of overdue hugs, not even seeming to mind the smell of one of them.
Then again, given where he'd been...

...Oh, what, knocked out already? Dammit, he didn't even answer his question, what the hell!

Seth then went on to repeatedly smack the unconscious ogre on the head with his shoe in his hand because he was annoyed. Also hoping it would wake him up, somehow. Until at least, a familiar voice called out to him from behind- Smack.

"Don't touch me," Seth said as he held up the shoe he had been using to smack the ogre in front of him so Jonny would get a face full of sole instead.

Well, at the very least they would all know Seth is still the same person. Admittedly it was actually kind of odd to realize that the same voice that he had just heard a few minutes ago before the fight actually came from a completely different person altogether. ...Actually speaking of, "Okay, maybe you can start explaining why the hell did a bunch of ogres started picking fights with us, and why do you have a clone running amok around town?"

His questions were accompanied by incessant smacking on the superspeedsters head with the shoe.

"You're going to have a lot to answer for, Lucid!" Selene growled as she pointed in the general direction that Lucid fled in. "Valkyrie, pursue and subdue - no lethal force allowed. Go!" Nodding wordlessly, the Valkyrie took off with fleet-footed, bounding strides in Lucid's direction, swords in hand, performing a series of acrobatic maneuvers that would put any human parkour artist to shame as the armored maiden scaled her way to the rooftops in no time. And it wouldn't be long before Lucid might become aware of someone stalking her from the roofs of the nearby buildings...

"John! Seth-kun!" Selene shouted as she joined Jonny in checking on the rest of the group inside the warehouse, where she found the source of the earlier commotion - two ogres, having already been knocked out by the time the super speedster and summon magus got into the warehouse. "I'm glad to know you're al- hey!" The corporate heiress was interrupted as Seth began smacking Jonny repeatedly with a shoe, demanding answers.

"It's the Red Lions, Seth-kun!" Selene interjected, trying to restrain Seth from hitting Jonny anymore. "You haven't forgotten that crime syndicate who started the whole mess by making Cerium-sensei their unwitting accomplice in their smuggling operations, haven't you? We met Harriet, daughter of that Red Lions lieutenant who's now incarcerated... seems like she had a personal vendetta against Jonny and us the whole time for wrecking their Wales outpost, and causing her mother to be arrested."

At least as far as Selene was concerned, it seemed that Jonny was mostly in the dark about Harriet's revenge scheme, although part of her wondered, what if this mess never started in the first place? Perhaps then Seth, herself, Mariko, Yuki and Cerium would never need to go through any of the troubles that'd plagued them for over a quarter of a semester after that fateful day. "Come on, I think we should make sure these big guys are secured restrained and handed over to the police, then we can get Jonny to the teachers to explain everything and have them speak on his behalf to the police," the corporate heiress remarked, gesturing towards the unconscious ogres.

"And besides, we've got a friend in hospital, fighting for her life," Selene continued, referring to Mariko. "I know it may not seem much, but I'm sure she'll greatly appreciate if we could all be there for her," the corporate heiress commented solemnly.

"Hahaha!" Lucid ran at full speed, hauling down the streets with surprising quickness even as the Valkyrie continued to pursue her. She didn't know where she'd end up, but she just kept on going as fast as she could. Her incredible speed and stamina were on the very limits of human ability. Even if she didn't compare to the summon, she still had a head start and a single-minded drive to get away.

----

"T- that victory was for Athena Parthenon." John staggered out of the ogre's mouth, hoping that declaration was not going to result in him getting a smiting. "What next?"

Overwhelming joy, that was what he would get. His lip wobbled just for a second before he ran over to Jonny, hugging him with a wail of relief. For once, he wasn't being lecherous. He just missed his friend that badly.

Sure, he was getting angry at the Red Lions, but he didn't act on that impulse right now. He just wanted to keep on embracing his friend until Selene separated them. Which, by his estimation, would be in a few minutes. Oh, well. It'd be a few minutes worth spending.

Of course, it wasn't to be. Seth came in with his shoe, which narrowly missed the jello swordsman.

"Manners, Mr. Ryouga!" He chided.

...Half a year, and this is how his supposed best friend greeted him?!

"See you haven't changed at all, Seth. " Jonny grumbled, folding his arms as the young Mr Ryouga decided to meet Jonny's face with their foot. Rather than dodge it - as he really should have - Jonny instead met the raised foot head on, grinning and bearing through it. Couldn't just back down to Seth of all people... unless someone else seized him first, as Selene intervened. Like John, for example.
"But yes, I'm alive, I'm the real deal, and this mess is because of the Red Lions... or one of them anyway. I mean, I'm kinda figuring it out as I go. Hermes just told me about the fact I was suddenly wanted by the police - again - and so I came back to find out what in the world was going on." Jonny explained, briefly recalling a race across the world from Greece to get here. Note to self: Never try crossing the Russian border in the midst of a standoff with Europe.

"You can... thank your father for how I managed to find you guys. Though you might want to start getting a different brand of phone for like, holiday purposes." Jonny nodded in an aside to Selene, himself pulling out his phone, and beginning to dial the police...
Before pausing as Selene made note of the mutual friend current on the brink, because of this whole mess.
"...Yeah. Once we're done here, that's where we go next." With a solemn nod, he made the call, no doubt likely to surprise whoever turned out to be on the other end of the line. Not exactly an easy night for anybody...

Oh.

Well then. Now that he's got his answer, foot, get off the face.

It would be a lie to say that he did not at all forget about the Red Lions, considering he was more involved elsewhere at the time. He was probably out of it during the whole recap of the story following Jonny's return at the time, though as of now he doesn't need much of it.

Basically, the daughter of a member of a criminal gang has a vendetta against Jonny and his friends for putting said criminal gang behind the bars. While it's nice to know that they could finally prove that Jonny had been innocent all along and said daughter of the member of the criminal gang (damn that's a mouthful) had been framing Jonny this whole time, the young man's concern was elsewhere entirely.

"What about that girl then? She escaped didn't she?" Seth said, referring to the impostor as he crossed his arms. "She already went this far to take revenge, I doubt she is going to leave things as it is," Especially when she was SO CLOSE to victory only to have the very same guy who put her mother in jail thwart her at the very last second.

"...Grgh,"

The young man growled in annoyance as he rubbed his face in his hand. It's... very irritating, to once again find this very pattern, this cycle of revenge... even long after he's quit being the seeker of truth and justice.

As the Valkyrie reached the edge of the rooftop, the summoned swordswoman would jump off the building in a gravity-defying leap, performing several somersaults in midair as her claymore transformed to the sound of whirring gears and hissing pneumatics - reassembling and shifting its parts into its gunblade configuration; a semi-automatic shotgun with an oversized bayonet underneath the barrel.

With a blue-white flash, a single bolt of energy erupted from the muzzle, only to miss the sprinting girl and gouge a chunk of asphalt out of the tarmac below, aligning her gunblade sights with Lucid, the Valkyrie once more tightened her finger around the trigger...

Only to break into spasms and crash onto the ground most ungracefully, a blue-white spell circle flashing beneath her feet - one rule of Selene's summoning spell being that there is a strict limit to how far her summoned guardians could stray from their summoner, and fortunately for Lucid and unfortunately for Selene and company, the white-haired girl had just managed to shake her pursuer by getting her to the range limit of Selene's summoning spell.

"I'm sorry, she ran too far away," Selene apologized to Jonny and the rest, as the corporate heiress could sense the Valkyrie reaching the maximum distance she was allowed to stray from her summoner, and said guardian was being compelled by the spell to return promptly to her master's side. "Looks like our misfortunes have doubled, not only does this mean nothing is stopping Harriet from taking another shot at us, but I wasn't able to make Lucid answer for her treachery," the pumpkin-haired girl grumbled, before idly thumping her fist on a nearby crate as a display of frustration.

"But first things first, we need to prove Jonny's innocence, so if nothing else I'll take it we're done here?" Selene asked, glancing over at the unconscious ogres, and while the behemoths were currently out cold the corporate heiress wished they could work swiftly to restrain them before handing them over to proper authorities to be safely locked up. At least that would still mean two less Red Lion agents running around, at any rate.
